Typical take out,the original & one owner after gave delicious generous portions. The current proprietor just the opposite. Wonton soup no greens or pork. 1) Experienced OVERPRICING food: I ordered a large fried beef noodle (大牛劳）and they gave me a small. (Similar Experience as another Reviewer) 2) I called back to the store and the lady was very RUDE and YELLING at me that they gave me a large size beef noodle where they put more ingredients in it. Later on, I ask for the diameter of the food container of the large and small. She reply the large container is 7in. and the small is 6in., also saying that two men can eat one large would be full. 3) The delivery man thinks I'm a free ATM, asking me to give more tips. 4) A few months ago, the price of the food increased by 50cent. After, the experience of the beef noodle. I don't know if I'm the only one being added extra money or not. 5) The food is very oily and it doesn't takes that good. Good quality Chinese food at a reasonable price. A worthy spot to grab your take out lunch/dinner from or grab a bit after checking out what Middle Neck Road has to offer. I'm always happy taking out my fav chinese dishes from Yummy. Also, their service is crazy fast! I've given a large order, and they still manage to have everything ready in ten minutes or less. This is an all takeout Chinese restaurant. It is exceptionally reasonable as you can see from the menu photos. They are also very fast. We call in an order and by the time we get there (about 12 minutes) the food is always ready. Have not tried too many dishes but the chicken is tasty with generous portions. Various fried rice dishes are very nice. Based on price and service this is a very good deal. read more

This place is a Chinese takeout dive. That being said, it's the best Chinese takeout dive you'll find. The lunch specials are cheap. For $6.50, you get anything on the lunch special menu and a can of soda. I don't drink soda, but it's nice for anyone who does! It's centrally located in Great Neck, everyone working there is very nice, and the food quality is decent. I've ordered takeout from them over the phone dozens and dozens of times, and they have never once screwed it up. For cheap takeout dives, this one is the best! read more

The four stars is based on the delicious sesame chicken we order on take out on a regular basis. The price is right, and the service is fast and friendly. Last night we had Green Peppers and Chicken which was supposed to be spicy but it didn't have any flavor. Their chicken fried rice was a little dry without much chicken. Cheap prices and fast yes, but please be careful...I was excited to get some Chinese food for lunch today and decided to come to this place for convenience. I ordered wonton soup, steamed chicken with mixed vegetables over brown rice, and sauce on the side. Once I sat down to eat, I noticed a terrible odor - it was coming from the rice. I took a few more tastes to make sure it wasn't just me, and indeed it was some foul smell coming from the rice. The vegetables seemed fine, but was starting to get contaminated with the rice smell. All I wanted was a good meal, and to go back to work in the area, and what I got was what seemed like spoiled food. All I could really save for my hunger was the wonton soup and some of the steamed vegetable with chicken. Looks like I'm never returning here again... read more

Nice people so I feel bad writing this, but the quality of the ingredients is poor -- chicken should look and taste like chicken, even in a takeout place -- and the kitchen turns out dishes that are oily and nearly flavorless. And I've been eating in various takeout places on Long Island for years.If you have the choice between lunch at Yummy or something from your desk, wait for better Chinese. The food is pretty good. I normally order dinner combo plates or wonton soups and shrimp rolls whenever I order here. Their wonton soups have more meat is more held together than the other places I've gone too. Other places have the wontons all slimey and falling off the fork. The fried rice is fair, though I have had better elsewhere. To be fair, each restaurant has their own flair to their rice. What distinguishes them the most is the color of the rice. The pricing go up slightly on occasion for reasons unknown. I would have a fairly recent menu, only to find out later when from ordering on there, the prices change. The quality of the food hasn't changed, so that would be my only other gripe about this place read more

Be careful they over charge from what is listed on their menu. When you catch them they correct it, otherwise they pocket the money. Their new tactic is charging 10% tax. Also they charge for soda even you do not take one. Once you tell them, they say oh we thought you wanted soda. Not going back ever. read more

Portions are huge, prices are low, and taste is consistently better than many other places in town (maybe a tiny bit on the sweet side, but nothing that can't be addressed when placing your order). Surprisingly good super-cheap Chinese food. Quick preparation, great for calling ahead for take-out. They deliver but it's a little slow. Hot and sour soup is great. General Tso's chicken is good. This is my go to for Chinese take out in Great Neck. My family loves their veggie lo mein noodles, sesame chicken, chicken with garlic sauce, roast pork fried rice, and general tso's chicken.
