Pad See Ew and Pad Thai Boran (Prawn & Shrimp)
    Lauren P.

Pad thai with the prawn and shrimp hittt. I feel that it wasn't as sour as other pad thais I've had. The huge prawn added a nice smoky, grilled essence. My friend had their pad see ew and thought it could've used more noodles. The cocktails were cute spins on classics. The lychee sangria was delish and it was my first time coming across one of these. We were about to snag a table for 2 at 7:30pm on a Friday right away, but it is a tighter space for groups.

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and everything was delicious. The menu has a great variety of dishes for everyone. Service was friendly and ambiance was relaxing and cozy.

Amazing to find an authentic Thai restaurant all the way here in Little Neck! Took my family here on a whim, instead of going to the same Cantonese restaurants, and everyone was fairly impressed! We ordered an assortment of appetizers and mains, with the favorite overall being the massaman curry. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well! Will definitely be back again!

So nice to be back! As usual the food and drinks were great. Their mocktails and non alcoholic beverages are just as good as their cocktails

What a beautiful restaurant! This little gem in Little Neck is now my favorite go-to place for Thai food. As you can see from the photos, we literally ordered everything from the menu, and I have to say, EVERY DISH WAS GOOD. If you're coming with all your friends or family, you need to call ahead and reserve the table. There's not enough tables lol

Came here on a Friday evening and waited about 30mins for a table for 2. The place was packed. We ordered the fried tofu and crab roll for apps & pad Thai and khao soi for entree. My first time trying the crab roll and it was actually really good. The khao soi comes with drumsticks so it was a little hard to eat but it was still delicious. Overall we really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be coming back!

Everything was pretty mediocre. The Thai iced tea I was able to have them make it less sweet. The pad Thai noodles itself was good. But the flavor is okay. The crab cake ball if it did not have the sauce on the side. It's pretty tasteless the pork jowl isn't bad. But I've had better. It also gave me and my part a stomachache that caused pretty bad gas. First time and last time here. I'll just pay more and go to the Thai place across the street from here. Since I went there last time and was pleasantly surprised thought it was going to be good this time. But it was more disappointment.

I have already come to this place a few times and I was highly satisfied with my food experience in this restaurant. Parking is slightly challenging depending on the time of the day. Their joint is situated around Little Neck, Queens. Indoor ambiance is beautiful and unique. Decor design is distinctive to resemble a Thai canal setting, complete with a boat seating area and river wall art. They have kept the place decent and clean. Table setting is casual. For our drinks we started with butterfly pea lemonade and a lychee mojito, both are fresh, with a harmonious sweet-sour balance in it, well-presented in a casual glassware. As an appetizer, we opted for chicken satay which comes with a flavorful peanut sauce. I like the atmosphere of the dining area which was noticeably nice and quiet. For our entree we chose to have Pad Thai Boran, kana moo krob and spicy herbal fish. They offered excellent food quality, delicious, flavorful and well-portioned dishes. I commend them for their exquisite and artistic plating. Staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Ordered drinks and food came quickly without too much waiting time. Food was served hot. The restaurant provides a near-fine dining experience which was reflected in the quality and presentation of food. Indoor seating is limited, and in their case is an advantage as they are able to render good, fast and friendly service. Price is fair considering the quality of food, cleanliness, staff service and the overall food experience.

I have visited this restaurant several times over the years, and each time the food has been fresh, well-prepared, and served with excellent customer service. This cozy Thai spot offers a wide variety of dishes, and they currently have great daily lunch and dinner specials that are definitely worth the money. The place was clean and has nice decor. I recently went with my mom, and the food was absolutely delicious, nicely plated and full of flavor. We were seated in a comfortable booth overlooking Northern Boulevard, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and time at Bangkok Avenue. I will definitely be returning. Street metered parking is also available.

The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was casual with a Thai decor. The food was very good. The appetizer combo was a great way to sample a few appetizer. It included 2 spring rolls, 2 curry puffs, 2 shrimp cakes, and 5 chicken & shrimp dumplings. My favorite was the shrimp cake. The tamarind duck was cooked crispy with a hint of tamarind sauce. My friend loved the crispiness. Our favorite dish was the mango fish. The snapper was cooked everything that came with it, including the mango sauce paired well. I would definitely order this again.

I loved it!! The food was delicious! We ordered things that were popular and now we know why. The seafood ramen, it has a different name, was amazing and the presentation 10/10. We got fried ice cream for my sons bday and the light the sparkler and they lite the plate. So good! Very busy so very prepared to wait but worth it.

Bangkok Avenue The most beautiful and delicious Thai restaurants in Little Neck are here for you, The decoration and presentation of the dishes will make you feel like you are in Thailand every minute! This Thai cuisine is sour and spicy, not sweet. Steam fish with spicy lime juice was sour and spicy, super appetizing, I love this dish more in summer, tender smooth and delicious. Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot: warms your body in any season! Spicy and sour taste, perfect combination of prawns and mushrooms and onions. Papaya salad: this a must-order, don't miss it if you like it Pineapple fried rice: Very suitable for children who eat a lot. Mango sticky rice: My princess' favorite dessert, fresh mango and rice are salty and sweet, very delicious, not at all sweet, the taste is absolutely amazing! Thai tea: Delicious, a little sweet

Stop by our neighbor for a night out with my husband to try out this amazing Thai Resturant. The ambience on decor is very charming. Give me a very great vibe when you walk in as the service throughout our dining was a plus especially our server named. Tar was wonderful. As from our Thai tea drink to start and appetizer platter, to our favorite crab meat fried rice. And here some of images we like to share. We are definitely will come back and try more dishes and we're staying and have dessert . We order too much as you can see .

    How's the parking?

Hi, there are lots of free street parking on the side streets and also a few metered parking spots out front.

My family is vegan. Can the restaurant make the green curry and Drunken noodles without eggs and the fish sauce or oyster sauce? Or are the choices limited to the Vegetarian section?

We can make drunken noodle without eggs and use vegan sauce, but unfortunately we can't make the green curry vegan. If there are any other dishes that you would like to try, please ask, we can usually accommodate.

They don't answered the phone and it says phone number changed or something. They closed the business? It is 11:35am. They are scheduled to open at this time.

We are open! Apologies for the technical difficulties. Our hours are 11:30am-8:30pm Wednesday-Sunday and our phone number is: (914) 303-3388.…

The fried potatoes were delicious, and most of our mains were decent. The sole and second crab cake were fine, spinach was good. Unfortunately, their signature lobster pasta was a major disappointment. It arrived as overcooked, mushy pasta that was scalding hot, like it had just come out of a microwave, with almost no flavor and zero texture. It tasted like cafeteria food, not restaurant quality. We sent it back twice. When we asked for a third try, they said it would take 15 minutes and seemed to discourage us from ordering it again, even though they admitted they could make it right with fresh al dente pasta. That wait time honestly made no sense for this pasta. Desserts and coffee were also weak. The staff was friendly and the wine list had a couple decent options, but the kitchen needs serious improvement. They have potential, just need to cook like professionals instead of taking shortcuts

The new hostess and the greeting by Phillipe could not have made us feel any more welcome. We were offered a choice of seating and while we love the look and feel of the back patio it was a bit too cool and breezy out there.... We decided to sit in the front room as it is generally quieter and more low key. There were many larger groups with celebrations and you could see they were all having a good time. Our waiter Luis, came and introduced himself, brought our menus and inquired about water, drinks, etc. We told him we wanted only pumpernickel rolls: they are warm, fresh out of the oven and truly addictive. Our waters and my white Zinfandel arrived shortly thereafter. Our fresh goat cheese salad arrived with the raspberry vinaigrette and as always it was carefully divided. Luis came to check on everything as he and other staff members ( both members who we know through dining here repeatedly over the years) and new additions. Everyone always treats you like family. Very good pacing of the meal.... Nice and leisurely, not rushed but no long breaks between courses. Then our main dishes arrived. My husband had the pappardelle with mixed seafood, no sausage- plentiful and loaded with flavor. I get the shrimp a La Rodos.... 5 very nice sized shrimp with with lots of diced fresh tomatoes and feta cheese, served with my 2 favorite side dishes- mashed potatoes and beets.... All YUMMY and very generous portions. My husband's Stella Artois arrives in a nice cold glass with the main dish, as requested. Luis again checks on everything and then shortly thereafter we get the surprise of the evening. Peter, the new owner stops by and chats with us. It was a pleasure to meet him: we are sure he is very busy running back and forth between his two restaurants. and making sure that everything is going smoothly. We had a lot to talk about. Well, he has a tough act to follow but so far the food, service and hospitality are still 5 star !!! We ended our meal on a high note. A FABULOUS meal has to end on a sweet note. We were offered about 5 or 6 dessert choices. We selected the chocolate mousse cake. A rich, creamy sweet conclusion to a superb meal served by a warm, caring staff. Everyone including Luis, Felipe and the new hostess gave us a fond Farewell on the way out. We eagerly look forward to returning after their vacation at the beginning of August !! Congratulations, Peter, Phillipe and staff !

While waiting at the bar for a friend to arrive, I was swarmed by fruit flies, which should have been my first warning sign. The pours at the bar were skimpy, but I tried to shake it off once we got our table. The service there was actually friendly, and our server proudly told us the duck was a top seller, so we ordered it along with a salad and a fish dish. Most of what came out of the kitchen was diner quality at best--nothing special, but not offensive. The duck, however, was a disaster. It tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for months before being rushed through a fryer. The meat was fried to a dry, brittle crisp, and the only flavor came from a cloying sweet duck sauce slapped on top. No richness, no tenderness, no redeeming qualities. We absolutely hated our meal and the entire time we spent there. I can't recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about what they eat.

This is because the food was overpriced for the quality of dishes served. The bread was room temperature and was obviously purchased from a bakery. I was expecting warm bread, recently baked in an oven--the kind that would instantaneously melt butter smeared with a knife. I had the fried calamari appetizer. The calamari was somewhat rubbery, and it was coated in a tad too much flour. I prefer mine flash fried in a dusting of flour. The calamari did not taste fresh caught, either, and It was served with a side of garlic aioli. My preference is for a side of marinara sauce, which pairs perfectly with calamari. I had the Lobster Il Toscano, which cost $85. It was lobster meat from two, one pound lobsters sautéed out of their shells. The lobster was between firm and mushy. It did not taste fresh caught, like what I get in the summertime for a similar price while dining in any of the seaside restaurants in the Hamptons or Montauk. I also ordered the New Old Fashioned, whose main ingredients are Maker's Mark and Vermouth. I did not like it because I do not like Vermouth. I overlooked that it had Vermouth in it when I was looking at the cocktail menu. My dinner cost me $132 because they put a mandatory $20 mandatory tip on the check. The bill was originally $112. CAVEAT EMPTOR: There is a sign saying that they want CASH TIPS! There is free parking in the lot across the street once the ticket is validated in the restaurant. The restaurant is in a Tudor-style dwelling, and it is big enough for celebrations and events.
