I came here by myself for lunch today and unfortunately left disappointed. The experience reminded me why we haven't been back since our last visit for dinner several years ago. I ordered the tofu Pad Thai lunch special and chose the vegetable egg rolls as my appetizer. The egg rolls were good, but unfortunately, the tofu in my Pad Thai did not taste fresh. After taking a few bites of the first piece, I noticed a strange, unpleasant taste. I tried a second piece just to make sure, but it tasted the same, and I simply couldn't eat it. I placed the pieces of tofu I couldn't eat in a small dish. I called the waitress over, explained the issue, and asked if I could please have some vegetables on the side instead of the tofu. She didn't say anything but took away the dish with the tofu. About five minutes later, she returned with a plate of vegetable Pad Thai and explained that the kitchen had remade the dish without the tofu, which was perfectly fine with me. What bothered me, however, was that she subsequently came by and told me that, according to the kitchen staff, the tofu I had sent back was "fine." I found that response dismissive and unnecessary. Whether the kitchen thought the tofu was fine or not, it clearly tasted off to me. I had even tried a second piece before saying anything because I wanted to make sure. I pride myself on not being a fussy diner, and I almost never send food back unless I genuinely find something inedible, which is very rare. Unfortunately, the service throughout lunch was disappointing as well. No one checked on me after my food was served, I had to ask for my water to be refilled, and eventually I had to flag someone down just to get the bill. To her credit, my waitress did apologize when she brought the check. However, I then had to wave down another waitress so I could actually pay it. One of the most authentic Thai flavored restaurants in Queens, with a fitting ambiance and beautiful food presentation. Their flavors are consistent and on point across the majority of their dishes, really representing the taste and culture of Thailand. A great spot to check out when you're craving Thai food. Very comparable to When in Bangkok and Siam Thai eatery. I'm disappointed in their portion size to price ratio. Either the portion sizes could be increased or lower the price to create a better market balance. Most of their dishes are suitable for about 1 to 2 people. If you have a group of 6, the dishes are definitely not shareable. Everyone will only get a small sample scoop and probably won't be able to go back for seconds. You'll most likely need to order 2 to 3 of dishes to satisfy a larger group. For example, if you order one Crab Meat Fried Rice for a group of 6, everyone will only get about one spoonful. Because of that, it doesn't feel as balanced coming here with a larger group. I would say most dishes are better suited for a maximum of 4 people, so if you're coming with a bigger group, definitely increase how much you order. Another example is their raw marinated crab, which comes with 4 pieces for $16. If you're going for either of their set menus, I would also say they're best for about 2 to 4 people max. Their Tom Yum Ramen only comes with one prawn, which makes it feel more like disappointing presentation rather than an ingredient that everyone at the table can actually taste. Are the dishes catered to 1 person, 2 people or 4 people, this is where the confusion happens! Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of $34. There was barely any crab meat, and the egg was overcooked, dry, and bland. You're essentially paying $34 for a plate of eggs rather than a crab meat omelette. There was just no flavor, and the sauce they provided didn't complement the dish or do anything to make it better. In a wheelchair the indoor dining is a little tight, the restaurant is accessible though with the ramp entrance. We got the crispy pork belly for appetizers, I was not impressed because it was like slices of pork fat, n it didn't seem cook enough for me because it had a aftertaste n smell of like raw pork, i felt it needed to be fried more, it came with two sauces which were nice, but I don't think I'll get this appetizer again. For entrees we got the beef curry with cashews, we were hoping for a massuman style- with like a coconut milk gravy, but this was beef with mixed vegetables and cashews and the sauce had too much fish sauce so the dish tasted more fishy than it's supposed to. We also got crispy pork belly pad Thai, this dish was really delicious, it's actually a little small to share, if it was a bigger quantity it would have been perfect, or if the server mentioned it was small it would have been helpful. My son got the mango drink, but it was just like a mango slushy, not worth the price, I regretted the decision thinking i should have tried Thai iced tea instead. The larb salad was a perfect balance of sour, crunchy, oniony goodness. If I were eating this at home, you'd absolutely catch me slurping the leftover broth. The Khao Moo Dang was essentially pork three ways (not pygmy hippo, ), served over rice with a deep, rich brown gravy. It comes with a hard-boiled egg that was perfectly cooked, but honestly, who has room for an egg with all the other deliciousness on that plate? The Crispy Pork Basil had fantastic flavor. The pork was just slightly overcooked but still a really enjoyable dish. The Massamun curry with roti was velvety, creamy, and completely in-restaurant slurp-worthy. It's not spicy, making it a great entry point for anyone new to Thai food or curry. Mild heat, gently spiced, and beautifully balanced with coconut milk. Finally, the drunken noodles... wow, wow, wow. The deep char on the noodles and vegetables gave this dish an incredible smoky flavor that really stood out. One last shoutout that might sound a little wild: the side of jasmine rice was the lightest, fluffiest rice I've ever had. I'm getting hungry again just writing this. read more

Came here on a Friday evening and waited about 30mins for a table for 2. The place was packed. We ordered the fried tofu and crab roll for apps & pad Thai and khao soi for entree. My first time trying the crab roll and it was actually really good. The khao soi comes with drumsticks so it was a little hard to eat but it was still delicious. I have already come to this place a few times and I was highly satisfied with my food experience in this restaurant. Parking is slightly challenging depending on the time of the day. Their joint is situated around Little Neck, Queens. Indoor ambiance is beautiful and unique. As an appetizer, we opted for chicken satay which comes with a flavorful peanut sauce. I like the atmosphere of the dining area which was noticeably nice and quiet. For our entree we chose to have Pad Thai Boran, kana moo krob and spicy herbal fish. They offered excellent food quality, delicious, flavorful and well-portioned dishes. I commend them for their exquisite and artistic plating. Staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Ordered drinks and food came quickly without too much waiting time. Food was served hot. The restaurant provides a near-fine dining experience which was reflected in the quality and presentation of food. Worst restaurant experience ever! They wouldn't even accommodate a 4-year-old child with a regular table and insisted that we sit at a high bar table instead. We arrived before many other customers, yet they gave at least four regular tables to people who came after us. On top of that, the restaurant itself was dirty, and the food was disappointing and poorly presented. Seating is extremely limited, making the entire dining experience uncomfortable. Parking is also a nightmare and adds even more frustration. The service was extremely disappointing and completely lacking in consideration for families with young children. The waitresses were friendly and the service was quick. The interior is warm and welcoming, with its design encompassing a traditional Thai style that's reminiscent of Thailand. The green curry was very creamy and delicious, but unfortunately the duck was overly dry and not juicy or tender at it. The duck did have a crispy exterior, but it felt like chewing a piece of jerky at times. You can see how tough the meat looks from the picture. It is a bit pricey for its small portion as well, coming to about 20 dollars for a lunch special after tax. The miso soup also didn't taste that great, where the mixture of greens really detracted from its enjoyment. I did takeout so cannot comment on the service. The restaurant is well placed on Northern boulevard and has an outdoor seating area. The place was quite busy with patrons as I picked up my food. My only small piece of advice is that it is a bit more expensive then most but I felt well worth it with the quality of the food This is an update from today. My children took me here on Mother's Day. We just walked in and of course we do not expect seats inside but the al fresco dining was a good alternative on this beautiful weather. Delicious with cocktails that make you feel like you're on vacay in Thailand. We went as a group of 4 and we devoured all of this food PLUS a shrimp tom yum soup that I forgot to take a picture of. We started with the spicy sausage eaten as small lettuce wraps -- we regret not ordering another serving it was so good! Solid drunken noodle with the noodles soaking with flavor! The crab omelette was very filling haha I'm actually surprised we were able to finish it. Don't skimp out on the sauces it comes with! And they didn't skimp out on the crabmeat- thank you! The star of the show was the steamed fish with spicy lime sauce. It was so good we slurped up all the soup with the leftover rice on the table. So yummy with the right amount of tart and spice!
