The larb salad was a perfect balance of sour, crunchy, oniony goodness. If I were eating this at home, you'd absolutely catch me slurping the leftover broth. The Khao Moo Dang was essentially pork three ways (not pygmy hippo, ), served over rice with a deep, rich brown gravy. It comes with a hard-boiled egg that was perfectly cooked, but honestly, who has room for an egg with all the other deliciousness on that plate? The Crispy Pork Basil had fantastic flavor. The pork was just slightly overcooked but still a really enjoyable dish. The Massamun curry with roti was velvety, creamy, and completely in-restaurant slurp-worthy. It's not spicy, making it a great entry point for anyone new to Thai food or curry. Mild heat, gently spiced, and beautifully balanced with coconut milk. Finally, the drunken noodles... wow, wow, wow. The deep char on the noodles and vegetables gave this dish an incredible smoky flavor that really stood out. Worst restaurant experience ever! They wouldn't even accommodate a 4-year-old child with a regular table and insisted that we sit at a high bar table instead. We arrived before many other customers, yet they gave at least four regular tables to people who came after us. On top of that, the restaurant itself was dirty, and the food was disappointing and poorly presented. Seating is extremely limited, making the entire dining experience uncomfortable. Parking is also a nightmare and adds even more frustration. The service was extremely disappointing and completely lacking in consideration for families with young children. Came here on a Friday evening and waited about 30mins for a table for 2. The place was packed. We ordered the fried tofu and crab roll for apps & pad Thai and khao soi for entree. My first time trying the crab roll and it was actually really good. The khao soi comes with drumsticks so it was a little hard to eat but it was still delicious. Their joint is situated around Little Neck, Queens. Indoor ambiance is beautiful and unique. I commend them for their exquisite and artistic plating. Staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Ordered drinks and food came quickly without too much waiting time. Food was served hot. We ordered the papaya salad refreshing and a great opener. The green curry with beef was addictive. The right amount of burn that makes you keep scooping for more. The waitresses were friendly and the service was quick. The interior is warm and welcoming, with its design encompassing a traditional Thai style that's reminiscent of Thailand. The green curry was very creamy and delicious, but unfortunately the duck was overly dry and not juicy or tender at it. The duck did have a crispy exterior, but it felt like chewing a piece of jerky at times. You can see how tough the meat looks from the picture. It is a bit pricey for its small portion as well, coming to about 20 dollars for a lunch special after tax. The miso soup also didn't taste that great, where the mixture of greens really detracted from its enjoyment. I did takeout so cannot comment on the service. The restaurant is well placed on Northern boulevard and has an outdoor seating area. The place was quite busy with patrons as I picked up my food. Great Thai food near Bayside, queens. I was able to make a reservation on Mother's Day and they were pretty flexible and allowed me to push back the time due to high traffic.. pretty relaxing ambiance. The food was good and came out relatively quickly. There is only street parking but it wasn't hard to find a spot nearby. read more
