My family and I loved dining at BKNY! The staff was super attentive and the restaurant was very clean. My mom has been craving pad thai since we went to Bangkok, and theirs hit the spot. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. The spring rolls were burnt at the ends, but nonetheless they were yummy. The duck rolls were alright...the crepe wrap was a bit meh and the duck was a bit dry. Not our favorite item. My dad enjoyed his curry and was glad he got mild spice. The pineapple fried rice was a bit bland - the rice itself was good, but I wish there was more pineapple and flavor. The inside of this place is huge; a lot of seating which is great for large groups. They have a large parking lot in the back;a big plus. The tables are white table clothed which is nice to see. At the center of the restaurant is a cool circular bar. Compare to other Thai restaurants I visited in Woodside and Elmhurst, BKNY is 10x the size. This place has been a mainstay in this neighborhood. My family loves coming here and I don't blame them since they're consistently good. They also have a full bar and their lychee martini is awesome! Once again, we returned for their great lunch specials which at $10 is a bargain. We all enjoyed our dishes and the lunch specials comes with Thai Spring Roll. I was going to order a mild spice curry dish and but server said if you are not a fan of spicy to order something else. I ordered Praram Delights and that still had a slight kick. If you have a big group, highly recommend you make a reservation. They laid out exact number and tell you to sit down before they provide extra plates settings. There is a small parking lot in the back though I have found street parking if needed. Employees are efficient and if you need your plate change, they will change it. The place might be a bit dim though if you need they can turn on the spotlight for picture taking. I love the prik khing chicken from here. I must have had it 30+ times in the last couple of years. If you don't like spicy food, try it mild. It's so good and hard to find, most Thai places don't have it on their menu. Their spring rolls are good, the pad Thai is good, the pad see ew is good- but the prik khing is amazing. I came here with my friend for a quick lunch and they had a very nice lunch special. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, they have a full stocked bar and a nice red decor inside. Their lunch special I believe was $13 for a spring roll and chicken pad Thai. They do serve a generous amount and the food itself was very tasty. I've been here a handful of times within the last 10 years, each time, consisted of a positive experience. Waiters are always super friendly, attentive, and at your service. We ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, pad see ew with fish and pad Thai with beef and without peanuts. The food was salty for my taste but for normal diners it's probably fine. The food was authentic Thai, and approved by my Thai boyfriend. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The Spicy Crispy Duck Salad had great flavor and not too spicy (*You can let them know how spicy you'd prefer). The duck was crispy and not overcooked. The Tod Mun (fish cakes) had a nice texture with subtle flavors served with a side of dipping sauce that complimented dish. My favorite thing was the dessert. The sticky rice with mangoes is one of my favorite desserts and BKNY Thai did not fail to deliver. Overall, I had a great experience and the food and service was on point. I thought BK stood for Brooklyn but it was for Bangkok LOL! The entrance is lowkey so it is possible to miss but inside is lovely ambiance plenty of seating and good atmosphere. The service is fantastic everyone is very kind and helpful. they even helped change the spice level for our tomyum soup order it was thai hot and ridiculously too spicy to consume so don't do it the pad ke mao and paanang curry are the star of the show absolutely delicious and shareable portions. skip the soup and get the noodles and curry dish trust me. you might need more rice if you're sharing the thai iced tea is fine too A+ 9/10 read more

I absolutely love this place. I always order takeout, but I would definitely come to sit down because it is so beautiful inside! The food is so incredible and flavorful. I always ask for them to kill me with spice and they do that while still keeping the dish as a whole tasty! I'm glad they take my request seriously.
