For our last meal in Flushing we saved the best for last. It was recommended by a local. The hot pot is excellent. The broths are very tasty. Generous portions of fresh meats and vegetables. Somehow, one shrimp snuck into our hot pot, thank you very much. The pistachio shaved ice dessert was a very tasty end to our last meal in Flushing. The dining room is spacious and allows customers and staff to move about without difficulty. The dining room and restrooms are very clean. The staff is numerous and very attentive and I overheard them speaking Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Will I return? Yes! I wish I lived closer than 618 miles away.

Pretty decent hotpot place! The prices are relatively cheaper than other hotpot restaurants and they have some nice snacks and dessert (like ice cream and tanghulu) at the self service bar. They also have a good food and broth selection.

This place replaced Dolar Hotpot which used to be in the same spot. It's a competitive area in flushing. Wanted to try it out since I saw some good reviews and some pretty cool looking dessert. Their popular items were good, we kept it pretty standard and enjoyed the meat, veggies and appetizer selection we got. Their popular items soup bases were quite good. The dessert we got was the watermelon which is served in half a watermelon and it was okay. The watermelon balls we're sweet but the sorbet itself and the white bubbles didn't have much flavor. It was pretty but I wouldn't get it again. Nan Hotpot is a pretty standard hot pot, and has free membership. Not sure of all the benefits of the membership.

We've been here twice, everything is fine, but the service is slow a bit. Foods are fresh even the quantity is too small. However, the vibe is cute, like the cutie pandas were decorated.

Loved this place! The broth was super tasty, everything was really fresh, and the staff were so nice. Great spot to hang out with friends over hotpot. Definitely coming back!

Best hotpot ever, I have been here many times, the soup base, the chicken fingers, the meat, and the services, and of course much better than chongqing hotpot and Haidilao. Oh I love it!

Nan hot pot delivers a dining experience that is both cozy and modern. The multi flavor pot option was on point. We got the spicy broth and tomato broth . the ingredients were freshly made and the sauce bar was user friendly.

Not only was this place accommodating but they were so friendly. After being put on the waitlist for Coco Hotpot and taking too long, we decided to try out Nan and it was not a disappointment. As a foodie, I always value treatment over quality but I got best of both here. Liucheng was our server and he was exceptional! I was happy with the prices and the amounts of food served at a time. You can clearly see that the food is cut fresh and they are very generous. If you are looking for a nice experience and delicious food, go to Nan Hotpot, you will not regret it.

Special shoutout to our waiter -- we absolutely loved him! The prices on the windows are very confusing and more like false advertising for me, the lower prices are for the members which we're not since this is our first time and definitely our last, unless our daughter wants to come here again. So the price is the more expensive one. For me, I prefer straight forward pricing, so this didn't give me good vibes, it's not the money, just the way they advertising and we have to know what we can only have with the price we chose. The restaurant just gives us the specific menu for what we selected to have then we don't have to be denied for what we chose because we selected gold instead of top of the line menu. The place is clean and nice. For $78/per person and only have Australian Wagyu Beef (not really Wagyu) then it's over priced. We did have some premium beef which I liked because of the marble of fat on the beef quite tender and tasty, but only a sampler or whatever they called it. Service with one person is quite inadequate but she's very attentive and pleasant, since she had to run the whole restaurant, sometimes forgets things. The tomato broth was good and everyone liked it. The seafood plate is OK and our sweet shrimps are sweet. Some snow crab legs, jumbo shrimps, fish fillets, nothing to make me go wow. The appetizers tempura is crispy and good. The raw octopus is tasty. The vegetables are fresh and clean. After they denied me the premium beef sampler, I let my daughter to order everything else and I just enjoyed with the family. My daughter seemed to be happy and ate a lot, so I was happy. I've eaten enough shabu, hot pot to know that Australian or American Wagyu are overrated, many of them are tough and chewy, not as tender as normal ribeyes or Brisket that I like. This restaurant Wagyu beef does have marbles of fat in it, so it's tender and not so chewy. So, for the GOLD menu, I don't think it's worth the $78 but for special occasions, it's OK. I just don't like the confusion of many menu, many prices, and not getting my own menu and get denied for something on the menu because I didn't pay enough.

Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

You place your order on a tablet and then as the food comes out you can check out their sauce bar which also had egg rolls, fruit, jelly dessert, and some other items! Ambiance is casual and relaxed. They gave us aprons to wear to protect our clothes which we appreciated and they even had a mini one for our baby who was in a booster seat on the booth! Love their tom yum, tomato, and house regular broth. We ordered a ton of meat and veggies. Of course we also got the dancing noodles which was both delicious and very fun to watch. The staff was so nice to our baby! They gave him a free toy and also some kids food!

Ordered wagyu which was buy one get one free. It's a good deal since a decent amount came. The Angus short rib wasn't bad either. Lobster isn't usually what I order at hotpot but added a touch. Taro was flavorful. Even though it's a la carte, one can get filled fast. There is ice cream, fruit and jelly to seal the deal. Got some cute toys for saying the magic words to the wait staff. Big clean open space. Enjoyed for lunch since it wasn't overly busy.

There's often a long wait on weekends, especially during the peak lunch and dinner hours. Lucky for us, we usually eat early dinner around senior hours of 4pm-5pm and less waits. Our kids go to Goldfish swim school which is literally across from the restaurant. This is the most convenient choice for us to sit down and have a quick hotpot meal. The food quality is one of the best around the area in my opinion. The broth is comparable to the other ones around Flushing. You order via a tablet and the food comes out fairly quick. The service has been great every time we been here. The sauce station carries some snacks as well, such as pigs ear, seaweed salad, peanuts. I think this may change from time to time. I also recall them charging everyone $2 to access the sauce station when they first opened, but I didn't see that on my bill last week. Overall, this is a 5 out of 5 for quality, service, convenience, and overall experience. The space is big and you're not being crammed next to another party.

'GO SOMEWHERE ELSE' We were extremely disappointed with our…read morerecent visit to this restaurant. Having traveled from Pennsylvania based on positive experiences Ive been here few times before, I expected a much better experience. The service felt off from the start due to I was speaking Thai and waiter/waitress likely judged that I do not speak English. My husband heard the whole conversation and it bothered him at the moment led him to feel unwelcome, but I told my husband that I don't care what they think so we can enjoy our meal. The overall atmosphere was rather strange for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The total bill for two adults came to ~$74 We ordered two sets of pendant bread () for takeout, and we left a $10 cash tip on the table. Almost immediately after placing the cash down, the waitress approached and asked if it was a TIP making a VISIBLY DISPLEASED expression before walking away. As we were leaving, I was confronted by the owner or head manager (me and him spoke Thai) inquired what was wrong with the service. He stated that the waitress had complained about the TIP amount less than 10%. We explained that we had not included the approximately $30 takeout order in our tip calculation, especially considering it was a buffet restaurant. A quick calculation would have shown that the $10 TIP represented roughly 15% on the dining portion alone, and the waitress's primary contribution during our visit was simply providing water and choice of 'appetizers'. I gave them 5 stars on google and yelp 6 years ago (going to delete it) I have always recommended this place to my boss and colleagues from NY, NJ to PA But I will have to retract my recommendation to them after this. I REPEAT 'DO NOT COME HERE' We will NOT be returning. While the food itself was decent but the UNGRATEFUL ATTITUDE and handling of the situation completely ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant meal. I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE! They will not appreciate shit from you if it TOO LITTLE (for them). This incident was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wish I can get my $10 back. Just because you want more, then you DESERVE NOTHING
