Small and cozy second floor. Soup is so sweet! Service was fine, only waitress Lassus a biz rude when we were asking for desert menu.

    Thai grill and hot pot

RIDICULOUS I came all the way from Pennsylvania. I heard about this place and that it was good. The service is awkward The atmosphere is weird it's a buffet all you can eat me and my wife were $78 in total we decided to order some dessert, pendant bread for takeout we left $10 on the table and the waitress was like a hawk. She was already there as soon as the cash she was on the table she said is this a tip and made a face walking away then moments later we're getting confronted by the owner or head Manager on the way out stopping us and asking what was wrong with the service and that she complained to him why is the tip so little my wife and I had to explain to him that we're not counting takeout which is like $30 and again it's a buffet. I'm not considering the takeout at all the fact that she felt that comfortable to complain and get him to confront us if she would've took a moment to do the math she got 15% doing nothing. All she did was hand me water and she's complaining. Why did I get less than 10%? THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! when it comes to the service my wife has been here multiple times, recommending others to come, but we're not coming here again. The food was decent, but she was just so ungrateful to be honest I want my $10 back it ruined the entire experience we're about to leave in good mood give five stars and then this shit happens RIDICULOUS

The sliced beef is always really fatty here and the overall quality has went down. Since the price has increased, the variety on the menu hasn't increased. I feel like I no longer can justify the price.

I had hotpot here and really enjoyed it! While waiting for the broth and meat, we could help ourselves to pick out vegetables and their delicious fried rice at the self-serve stations. Unlike traditional Chinese hotpot, we do not make our own sauce. Instead, they have 3 premade ones for us with varying spice levels. They also served complimentary appetizers such as curry balls and mango salad. Everything was amazing and I look forward to eating here again sometime.

A great Thai hotpot location in Elmhurst. It's a twist on the many Chinese flavored hotpot restaurants in NYC. The sauces are premade for you with a fiery red chili pepper paste and a fish sauce based dipping sauce. Great selection of veggies and meats. It's small, seating maybe 30 tops so come early.

Tldr - pricey novelty hotpot and not a must try given food variety and excessive surcharges Facts - CASH ONLY. It is 35 pp pre tax/tip. 90 mins eating time. Additional $10 per person per 15 mins. That is an potential $40 extra pp for an additional hour stayed. There is additional surcharge for food being wasted. Addtl prices - Can soda is $3, beer bottle is $7, smoothies are $8, and various drinks like thai tea are $4. Starting service charge (tip) starts at 20%. Receipts shows tip prices up to 30%. THEY CALC TAX POST TAX. IE: bill was $142 pre tax . Should be $28.59. The receipt said $31.13. This is schemey behavior. I dont see many restaurants do this. Visit opinion - service was fine. Food came prompt. They refilled broth stock when they saw it was getting low. Stand out prepared foods is def the garlic rice that everyone boasts about. The variety isnt as extensive as it can be for a $35 price tag especially when u think about other general hotpot spots like spring, hai di lao, sheep, etc. Granted, they are not thai hotpots but the concepts are the same. The smell in the restuarant is very food strong. Reviews on thr spacing is accurate. It can fit like 8 4 ppl tables. I would not recommend this for a must try given the price point, food variety, addtl surcharges for bigger parties, drinks, and how they calculate tip using post tax amount.

This was my first experience with Thai hot pot, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of tangy and spicy notes. The garlic fried rice was an excellent addition, and the freshness of the meats and vegetables really stood out. And of course, you can't forget the classic Thai iced tea--it was the perfect complement to the meal.

~ CASH ONLY ~ In loveee with this thai hot pot! Pretty affordable ayce hot pot with a variety of options to choose from. I've gotten the tom zap, jaew hon and clear soup and don't be discouraged by the clear color of the soup, it's still packed with flavors! The quality of the meat isn't the best but I don't really mind given the quality of the soup, the sauces, price of ayce and GARLIC FRIED RICE were unbeatable.

CASH ONLY. I LOVE hotpot so I was intrigued when my friend told me about an AYCE Thai hotpot place. The place is a bit small but we came at 5:30 PM on a Saturday and there was no wait. The décor is really adorable and I probably said "this is soooo cute" 10 times. The broth flavors were all new to me since I've only had Chinese and Japanese hotpot before. We got the clear (chicken) broth and the beef blood broth - both extremely flavorful (the beef blood one was a bit spicy). Service was fast and they are really generous with the amount of food. My friend recommended the garlic fried rice, which I originally judged him for (because why would you order rice at an AYCE hotpot place right?!) but yes, GET THE FRIED RICE! I don't know what they put in there but it is heavenly and addicting and...we ended up getting a second bowl. I will definitely be coming back.

First of all, I went to this Thai hot pot more than one time but never put a review. Another time the service was good BUT this time the women server was NASTY to our group. She was TERRIBlE!!! Another waiter was good but only her, She acted like she was mad and maybe she was upset with her sad life. So she didn't want to serve the customer good. I feel sorry for the business, to hire this suffer and sad person to serve customers. If you don't want to work at that day, you should take a day off and fix it out what you want to do, instead of destroying your workplace. I still gave 20% tip for the guy but still not happy with the woman. As long as you speak the same language, don't you want to get a good pay? the advantage of working at the Thai place didn't give you enough happiness? LOL! Poor you!

This place was a little confusing as to what door led where, but just note that you have to go upstairs for this restaurant and you should be golden! We came here on a Wednesday evening and the place was relatively empty with only 1 or 2 tables getting taken during our meal. This led to a relatively peaceful and quiet meal which I enjoyed so I'd say weekdays are a safe time to go without much of a wait. As an all you can eat place, their menu was pretty diverse and they had pretty much anything you can think of for hotpot - no complaints there! Their non-alcoholic drinks were also pretty large and tasty so I'd recommend one if you're looking for something a little sweet. The broths they have are delicious as well and really make the meal Thai which I enjoyed. I would say that the meat seemed a little frozen when it came out, but that was the only thing we noticed that wasn't great. Everything else quality wise and service wise was really great! This place is cash only just as a heads up too - payment was quick though and the price I think was worth the meal. Overall, great place to grab hotpot and enjoy yourselves with friends. I would definitely come back to try their other teas/juices as well as another soup base!

Price-wise was excellent with most dishes around the $10-30 range. Portions were large and meant to be shared. As for the food itself, I honestly expected better. If it was ranking in the same leagues as Fish Cheeks, Pranakhon, and Bangkok Supper Club on Beli, I thought the taste would be phenomenal but it truly just tasted like any decent thai spot I could find in SoCal. The only difference is that in SoCal there would be little to no wait. I must clarify that my qualms is not with the restaurant but with NYC having an issue of overinflating certain places and establishing high expectations of otherwise normal restaurants just doing its thing. The pad see ew was my favorite, and I liked how wide and long the noodles were. Otherwise, their Michelin Yum Duk Pla Fu was just another mango salad to me, and I had wished that the catfish tasted more like fish than breadcrumbing. The green curry was decent, nothing special. Good price for what you get though. If the wait wasn't unnecessarily long, I would consider this a nice spot for cheap, yummy Thai.

They definitely didn't tell me that lunch specials were available before I ordered my soup. Other than that, everyone is pleasant.
