Details.. .. Dessert with the bf after dinner on a Thursday night. .. We both got the Honeymee. prOs.. .. It was a perfectly DELICIOUS dessert. The right size. Not too sweet. .. The menu & store itself are very simple. .. Service is quick & efficient. .. The ice cream itself taste so PURE. .. The honeycomb is a nice touch. Gives the ice cream just the right amount of sweetness. cOns.. .. Although the size is perfect, the menu is a bit deceiving. It looks much larger than it actually is. .. There isn't too much parking in front & the plaza parking sucks (not really their fault though). .. The store is a tad small. We arrived during a rush of hs/college kids & it was quite crowded. read more

Dense smooth creamy texture, just the way I like it. Portion is small for the price and something that's kinda plain but for the honey, but the quality of it makes it filling. Definitely better deal than something like yogurtland. read more

Quaint little spot with delicious creamy soft serve and fresh honey. Even on a Monday night in the cool weather there were plenty of patrons there. It is tiny inside, but has a nice modern feel. Small menu with a couple of soft serve options, milkshakes, and the like. But short and sweet is fine by me. I like the digital signage they have for the menu (I'm an AV geek, so I approve). Only thing is that you are paying for the quality, which I still found to be just a tad on the expensive side. Make sure to get a punch card so you can get that 11th one free! read more

Craving for their ice cream with honey so we came to get some. It was yummy and hit the right spot. Service was ok. They only have a small table and a few high chairs along the wall to sit. This is a small establishment compared to the one we visited in Westminster. Price is slightly high for a small cup of ice cream but it tastes so good that it's hard to argue about it. Located in a busy Plaza but parking is available in this shopping area. read more

This location is the tiniest one Ive ever been to. Has enough seats for 6 people at most. I tried their Belgian waffle and it was terrible - first of all the worker wanted to warn me that it would take ten minutes to make (I think he had just cleaned the waffle maker)- ok fine. And then when I got it, it was smaller than the palm of my hand! To make matters worse, it was moist and dough-y on the inside when I cut it open. When I brought it back to the worker, both of them tried to convince me that Belgian waffles are wet inside. Sorry, I've had my fair share of Belgian waffles and they are supposed to be light and feathery on the inside. I asked for my money back and they obliged, but I won't be coming back here anytime soon. read more

Wow. Just wow. I feel like my entire life has been lacking now that I've tried Honeymee. The ice cream is TO DIE FOR and the honey provides the perfect touch. One cup is plenty to share for dessert, though on a hot day I'd want all of that to myself... Highly recommend this place- however, it is tiny.. our group of 5 barely fit at one of the only tables they had. read more

Honeymee is located on the 99 Ranch market side on the corner of Jeffrey and Walnut next to the gas station. Stopped in to satisfy my sweet tooth and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! We ordered the original HoneyMee. The "true milk ice cream" was delicious with perfect soft serve texture and the honey was so sweet and was a perfect combo with the ice cream. The only drawback is that the honey comb that it comes with will leave wax in your mouth - definitely not harmful, but a pain in the rear to get off your teeth. Next time I will definitely be ordering the Sweetie instead - this one just has the honey swirled in with the ice cream. I'll save the wax for those bikini lines. I believe that there is only one size for the ice creams, but I could be wrong. It was so good that I would've (and almost did) gone back for a second cup. The place is tiny with only a few places to sit and there is one table outside - we had to stand outside and eat, but it's no big deal with how fast I devour ice cream. Parking in this plaza is always tricky - there are tons of people here during peak hours and parking is always tough to find. Be aware of those Irvine drivers!!! read more

Things you may want to know if you're about to try it for the first time: 1. Expect everything to cost more than $3.50 2. If you don't want something too sweet, stick to the Darling - milk ice cream. 3. Store is too small for a huge group of people to hang out. No seating outside the shop. It's a very small shop and I did have an enjoyable experience there! Service: The staff here are friendly and will explain anything you want to know about the menu. There were only a few other people there when I came, but I received my ice cream fast! Icecream: Honeymee - I love the milk ice cream, but with the honey, it was too much. Also for a block of honey...it costs $1.25 more. Not sure it was worth it. If I come back, I'll be getting the milk icecream itself next time! The icecream was very smooth! Average. Service lacks energy, I suggest they speak louder, clearer and give eye contact, oh and greet you! This is basic training in customer service. The portions are small for the price point. Honeymee is great. I love their stuff. 5 star for the food. But, 0 star for this particular location because it is HOT - sauna hot. Please invest in a portable AC. When the weather outside was 75 degrees, the inside temperature is probably closer to 90s. Today, I came for the amazing milkshake when the high is 111 F. I can't even stay inside. read more

The drinks here are good, but it seems like you never get what you pay for-- I paid $11 for these TWO drinks to not even be filled close to the top. Totally get it when there's a small gap, fine, but this had a lot missing and if you're not giving much product, then you should lower your prices. I'm not paying 85% of the price, I'm paying 100% so I should be able to expect that in return. The manager needs to figure something out about training employees to give proper amounts. Not to mention, employees here always seem to be bitter and inconvenienced by customers as well, so the manager needs to step up and handle it. Quality ingredients, but awful processes and service. read more

By far one of the best ice cream I've ever had! I ordered the Honeymee which came out to $4.75. The ice cream is made from 100% milk. It's thick and milky and so yummy! A chunk of honeycomb is added to the ice cream and just takes the flavor to a whole new level. The serving does come small however it was the perfect size. No complaints here. :) Totally worth the $4.75! read more

I just don't like it. It is just like any frozen ice cream or snow cone you can get from McDonald's. But price is 5 times more. Only thing special about this place is real honey but I am not big fan of honey. If you love honey, you should try but I didn't think anything special about this place. read more

Honestly I love Honeymee and I won't bash on the company but this location is TERRIBLE. The two workers working last night were playing around, joking and hitting each other and when. I walked in they started asking professional. I asked if they were closed because the floors smelled clean and they looked at me with blank stares and said "uhhhh kinda?" I looked at the hours and it said they closed at 10pm but it was only 8:30pm on a Sunday night!!! So I was like "are you sure because it says 10?" And all of a sudden one of them was like "we can serve you tea. But uh the ice cream machine is broken." Look, if it's true that the machine is broken, FIX IT! I've seen other reviews where the ice cream machine is broken too! But nonetheless, you shouldn't be closing an hour and a half early if your call time says so. On top of that when I walked by at 930 they were still open. So the workers response were very unprofessional. overall, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Go to the other locations instead!! Don't waste your time here. read more

The two ladies couldn't tell me if they use non dairy milk In fact they didn't even understand what non dairy is. When asked what kind of milk they use all she can say is "yes they use milk". Stopped by after dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant. The icecream was so good after a spice dinner. I order the simplest item from the menu (ice cream with honey)/ The ice cream was light, not too sweet and tasted much different from regular ice creams. Came here on a Tuesday evening with some friends and to our disappointment the soft serve was broken. There was no sign and the girl at the counter didn't even mention anything when I walked. It wasn't until I actually place an order was when the girl said they can't serve anything. Then they proceeded to stare at us awkwardly. They should have at least closed the store or post a sign out front. And it's very unprofessional to have no backup plan when a machine is broken when the whole business depends on the machine. read more

I am in LOVE with this place. The concept is simple: soft serve and honey. Even though the menu offers other flavors and items such as the milkshakes, they're all AMAZING. Wooden fork and knife gives taste of the same to the waffle. Go with the I- choices. Yuzu or matcha over ice cream with honey are to die for! Ghirdelli chocolate and caramel. This is one of those places I hope reallllly stays around. I don't know if it's the times we go but they're always slow and it honestly makes me sad because the service had always been 110 both from owners(?) and employees. The product has been consistently the same. I can't stand the overly sweet places that seem to be the trend these days and the froyo here is the perfect amount of milky and sweet. This place was very interesting... Ive never had a whole honey comb with soft serve ice cream let alone, honey in general.... it was great! They put the honey inside the cup, and the warm honey comb right on top of the icecream. It's simply delicious pretty much (pun intended). The venue was super small, but you could manage. read more

They also sell mochi donuts -- this looks like a rebrand Bober Tea shop that's known for their "stir fried" boba. The brown sugar boba in our drinks tasted like the super soft and flavorful boba. My husband and I really loved the boba. But at 100% sweet, the drink was wayyy too sweet that we had to dilute it with water. Next time I would get half sweet. It had a very nice black tea flavor that shone through which is unique from other boba shops.

We have made pit stops at this OG branch of Cream Pan in Tustin over the years. The location of…read morethis well-known Japanese/French bakery was unusual in that it's isolated in a corner of the El Camino Plaza. I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

I'm so happy I don't have to trek all the way to LA's Japanese Village to try Honeymee--this Irvine location is just as great! It's in a super busy plaza, so parking can be a bit of a challenge (same as the LA spot), but honestly, it's worth it for dessert, right? You might have to circle a few times, but there's usually parking not too far away, so no big deal. Now, let's talk about the ice cream, delicious doesn't even begin to cover it. They've got some really tasty flavors, including vegan options, and the texture is smooth and creamy. I tried the matcha Honey with strawberry, and I'm telling you, it's so good, like I could eat it every day. The honeycomb on top is a total game changer, and the honey, when it chills, gets this chewy texture that's just amazing. My daughter went for the yuzu flavor (I think?)--it's like vanilla and honey, and she loved it too!
