Always fast friendly service, call ahead walked over from work and was ready to go! First time having the salt and pepper pork chops. Hit the spot!!

Hi blend!

First time customer here. Tried the berry banana smoothie and it is delicious! You can taste the berry and banana and there's no added sweets like sherbet or ice cream

Mini Chicken on crispy noodles was savory with lots of gravy. A little peppery and just right. The noodles were super crispy with bottom soaked and softened underneath. It was topped with debone mini chicken and Bok Choy under chicken. It was very tasty! Fried rice: lots Char Siu with peas and carrots. However, it was a bit bland, but could taste the salt in the shrimp. Avocado smoothie with tapioca pearls.... Nice taste and cold! Out of this Lanai Food Court, this is reasonable and better food. Service is minimal and ambiance is average. Ciao!

Seafood with crispy noodles

Service is still good. I was there about 10:30 am. In a few minutes I got my order. Order the Lychee Coconut drink. Strong Lychee flavor, not much of the coconut. I also had the Seafood on crispy noodles. Good taste and the noodles were crispy. If you come early, there is no problem finding a seat. Clean and spacious dining area. Enjoy

Singapore noodles with less curry - still tasty
Heidi H.

If one orders an entree one can get a discount for some drinks. I ordered singapore noodles with less curry. Lots of different ingredients. Very tasty with shrimp, char sui, rice noodles, bean sprouts, eggs, and green onion. No line so fast service. Remember to bring a bag to carry your container home since it is very hot to the touch. No msg.

HiTEA Cafe is located in 'The Lanai' food court. On the 2nd level of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Macy's department store side of the mall. In the former location of Shirokiya, oh no I'm aging myself with that comment XD There are lots of seating and tables inside the food court to dine in. And parking is within walking distance along the Macy's side. Their hours of operation are from Monday - Saturday: 10:30 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday: 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. This is their website here: https://hitea808.com/ And you can also order online through the link on their website! This is their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/hiteahawaii/ They are also on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/hiteahawaii/ The tagline on their website is, "Where Boba Dreams and Stir-Fry Cravings Come Together!" There is a good variety of items as their menu offers different bubble milk teas, smoothies, Chinese styled stir fry dishes, rice and noodle options as well. They started in 2015. I've tried various Stir-Fried, rice and noodle dishes from here. All very delicious! My personal favorite is the Beef Chow Fun. A classic! You can also choose different protein options like chicken or shrimp for this dish. But my favorite things are definitely the smoothies! Easy to grab and go. The wait isn't that long and they're made on the spot. Top flavor for smoothie recommendations are Watermelon and Avocado with the added Tapioca Pearl (BOBAZ!) Topping. Though I'm sure all the other smoothie flavor options are yummy as well :) and what one likes is a personal preference. Lotsa different available Jelly Topping options for $0.75 upcharge including Mango, Rainbow, Grass, Lychee, Coffee, and Passion Fruit. Also, Azuki Beans. There's a special deal when you order food, you can get a Milk Tea or Fresh Tea at a discounted price (#60-87 for $4.95, saving $1). Give them a try :D

Black pepper chicken
Megan K.

Got black pepper chicken with brown rice. Huge portion sizes and made to order! It was piping hot when it came out. Everything tasted fresh and lots of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were quiet but friendly. Great grab and go in the mall and you can take it to sit down and grab a drink from the bar right across. It's pretty quiet in this food court because it's not the main one in the center of the mall!

The large, colorful menus attracted me to check out their spot in The Lanai at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Sooooo many drinks to choose from! They have a large menu just for smoothies and then another large menu of milk teas and fresh teas. The Jasmine milk tea caught my eye first. I asked the employee what the difference was between the Rose Jasmine milk tea and the Jasmine milk tea...like what would it taste like with the rose added to it? He mentioned that they were out of rose so it wouldn't matter anyways. I asked which of the drinks on that menu were popular and he suggested ones like passion fruit jasmine tea or peach jasmine tea that didn't intrigue me at all. I ended up going with my initial Jasmine milk tea and I'm so glad I did! It was so refreshing! I definitely want to go back to try some of their other drinks. There was also a food menu that I would definitely want to go back and try as well. Lots of Chinese food options to choose from. And no MSG!

Strawberry smoothie with boba

Smoothie is pretty good... boba is soft and fresh. Best part is I did not have to wait very long. Shop is located in the food court so it's very busy and a bit noisy.

The cashier was so handsome, love this place. The service from this guy was great too!!!

Today I got to try the Eggplant & Tofu Plate with Milk Tea and it was very tasty. This place is very convenient when you just want to have a quick meal.

Love it. My Pepper Pork Cop plate was ono. To know I can get good Chinese dishes made to order at s food court is awesome. I'm not a fan of buffet style fast food. I'm going back to try some more. It's a good place to people watching. Helpful staff.

My mom and my friend both had amazing reviews about this restaurant. They both raved about how…read moredelicious their crab dishes were that I couldn't wait! It's located next to EARL and Cafe Kaila in the corner of Market City Shopping Center on Kapiolani Blvd in Kapahulu. There is a parking lot for customers and an overflow lot in the back where Ben Franklin is. Both times, I came with my family, and we ordered a variety of food and shared family style. The food here was absolutely delicious! Some items that we had ordered were: - Singaporean Rice Noodles - delicious! So flavorful with a lot of shrimp. It was even better with the curry from the curry crab. - Hong Kong Style Garlic Shrimp Prawns - well seasoned with a delicious crispiness and crunchiness! Shrimps are always a favorite of mine. - Thai Style Pork Cheek - great appetizer but the others really outshined this dish. The sauce was incredible, though! - Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wing - beautifully coated with a layer of salted egg yolk. One of the few unique dishes that is a must try. - Fried Green Beans w/ Minced Meat & Sambal Shrimp Paste - the minced meat and sambal shrimp paste really brought out the flavor of the green beans, complementing it extremely well. - Salted Fish Chicken Eggplant - the salted fish really enhanced the flavor of this dish. I honestly thought without it, the entire dish would have been mediocre. This was a surprise! - Beef Chow Funn - this was ok. I thought there wasn't enough wok hay and flavor to this chow fun. - J.J. Chicken (Half) - this was one of my least favorite dishes only because all the other dishes outshined it. It was still good - just didn't have a great WOW factor like the others. - HK Style Beef Fried Rice - this was actually a lot better than the beef chow fun in my opinion. It was especially good with the leftover curry from the crab. - Curry Crab w/ Naan Bread - the star of the meals! There were different ways to prepare the crab, but we ultimately decided on the curry as it was #1 of the 3 or 4 styles. I did want the Singaporean one but was worried it would be spicy for the grandparents. Next time! Regardless, this was an amazing decision as the curry was soooo good. I couldn't get enough of it! The crab was delicious, fresh, and meaty--one order was plenty for our group of seven! It was definitely a messy meal, but well worth it. We even had so much leftover curry sauce that I couldn't bear to waste it, so I took it home to enjoy with rice the next day. - Hong Kong Style Garlic Fried Crab - well seasoned with a lot of flavor, but it was much drier than the curry version. Still delicious but that curry crab was still a winner. - HK Style Ice Milk Tea w/ Frozen Bear - this was a cute drink that they heavily advertised in their drink menu. I thought it would be a gimmick, but the drink itself was strong and delicious. This restaurant honestly stole my heart! So many delicious options that continuously wowed me. I definitely can see myself coming back often for family dinners.

Curry crab- sweet curry, kind of an Asian style curry flavor. Not Indian. It's in between a Chinese and Thai curry. fried rice- it's not salty enough. It was okay. Hong Kong lemon tea- not strong enough, watery. True Hong Kong lemon tea is very strong. Black pepper sizzling beef- the most flavorful and tender dish. Chili oil- I asked for chili oil and they really gave me chili oil. I asked for chili oil with the pepper flakes and they said they charge money for that. So I just opted for the chili oil to make my friend rice more flavorful and a bit spicy, the oil was spicy, that's it, no flavor. Customer service- the male servers were very attentive. A typical Chinese restaurant inside

My friend has been raving about this noodle spot and even though she had it for lunch, when I asked…read moreher if she wanted to go here for dinner she was still in! It's street parking only on King Street but if you're lucky like us you can snag a metered parking spot right outside. It's a QR code menu and you order from your phone. I love a physical menu just as much as the next person, but with all the customizations you can make to the dishes- being able to select them on your phone just makes it so much easier. I went with the classic beef noodle soup, with a thick noodle. There was multiple different noodles to choose from but I think that this was the most classic for a beef noodle soup. The broth was really rich and clean (not spicy) and I loved the texture of the noodles. My friend ordered the dry mix noodle with pork and chickpeas in mixed sauce. She got it a regular spicy and it was just above my threshold for spice but so good. The texture of the chickpeas when it was mixed in made it creamy and so unique. Next time I'm going to try the dry noodle with mashed potatoes and beef.

We've ordered takeout for dinner from here a couple of times! There's usually street parking…read moreavailable along the street near their entrance, so it's not bad in terms of convenience and accessibility. They also seem to have renovated, with a much more spacious and modern interior. We've tried the Boiled Fish and Pickled Cabbage with rice, Wuwei Spicy Beef Noodle, and Fried Noodle (rice noodle). You get to choose what type of noodles you want. The first time, I ordered the Boiled Fish and asked for mild spice, but it was so spicy I could barely finish it and ended up just eating the fish and leaving the rest. Such a shame because I was craving those sour and spicy flavors and wanted to pair the soup with rice, but I definitely wasn't expecting the mild level to be THAT spicy. My bf, on the other hand, can handle really spicy food and ordered the spicy level for his beef noodles, but his wasn't that spicy at all. We wondered if the spice levels got mixed up, but I've seen other reviews mentioning that even the mild level for the Boiled Fish is really spicy, so maybe that's just how it is... The boiled fish soup was also oilier than what I've had elsewhere. For the Wuwei Spicy Beef Noodle, since we ordered takeout, the beef came separately with its own marinade. I wouldn't recommend pouring the marinade into the noodle soup because it completely overpowers the original spicy broth. The beef itself was perfectly tender, though! The Fried Rice Noodle was really good, and we had no complaints! It also came in a HUGE portion that was plenty for the two of us. Both times, I was craving Szechuan flavors and rice noodle dishes, and these definitely hit the spot! I wouldn't say I'm in love with everything we tried, but overall, the food was really good and worth satisfying those cravings.

I used to come here all the time with my coworkers for lunch, as Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant was just a hop, skip, & jump away from my office. Through the years, the business & location hasn't changed, but if I'm correct, I owners of the business have changed hands several times. I remembered the last time I came here was during Covid-19 where Golden Eagle Chinese was just doing "take-out" and no dining inside was available. Since the pandemic has passed us, everything is back to normal with the exception of different owners. This past Sunday I decided to drop by the Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant to buy some steamed fish filet for my dad. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I must say not much has changed as far as the decor of the restaurant. What I did get from Golden Eagle was fast and friendly service, and a wonderfully made dish of steamed fish filet with ginger & onion (dad approved)! It's quaint inside, but again, old school, so you'll see some boxes stacked in the corner. Janey got there first and said the man working was kinda unfriendly. We started with some delicious hot n sour soup. The fried rice was really good! Loved the crispy skin duck! The gau gee mein had a great assortment of vegetables! And the sauteed choy sum(?) was good! Overall, really good local Chinese food! Though the interior is nice, it was a little warm even with the AC. The setting sun was just hitting the windows and even with the filter, it was warm. Other than that, great place to come to! Mahalo Golden Eagle!

The wontons were meh. I haven't had wontons that bad in a while. They were mushy and contained a small piece of shrimp. My mom agreed that the wontons weren't good that day. However, she had wontons there before and they were good. I loved the skinny Hong Kong noodles that came with the wontons. If you're Chinese like me, then you'd know to eat it with the red vinegar. The new location is only about a block away, with a much nicer, newer interior. Unfortunately, the food seems to have changed much more than the address We ordered four dishes: mochi rice, pork buns, siu mai, and chicken feet. Almost everything arrived cooler than it should have. The chicken feet and siu mai were warm rather than hot, while the pork buns were closer to cold. More importantly, it wasn't just a temperature problem. The chicken feet in particular tasted noticeably worse than before, lacking the flavors and spices we remembered. The mochi rice was the most normal of the four, but even that felt fairly unremarkable There was a table next to us that came in excited to have dimsum. And watching their reaction, they came to the same conclusion as us -- food was cold, and flavors were off. We went on a weekday, so it's possible the kitchen was different that day, but the drop in quality was hard to ignore. The restaurant wasn't busy, service was good, and prices seemed unchanged from our previous visits. The new space is a clear improvement, but based on this meal, the food unfortunately went in the opposite direction. We likely won't be coming back
