Chong Qing Cuisine has great Szechuan flavors. Spicy, bold, and rich would best describe their dishes. The menu selection is small and their seating is limited, yet consistency is key and a turn out for a seat will open quickly. Menu is conveniently on a qr code where you can choose the dish and send your request straight to the kitchen. Fast and easy! In no time your food is at your table. Clean, friendly staff, and quick service!

This hole in the wall restaurant is a great find for those looking for spicy Sichuanese food. Located on S. King Street, limited parking is available in the back and on the street. They can get quite busy during peak hours and seating is cozy, so you may need to wait for a table, but service is relatively quick. Once seated, ordering is through a QR code and is easy and convenient. My go to is a double cooked pork noodle or dry mix noodle with pork and mixed sauce. The noodles are always perfectly springy and chewy, and the peppery sauce clings nicely to the noodle. You can customize these dishes with thin or thick noodles and choose from 4 spice levels, perfect for satisfying your spicy food craving. Tip: you can't pay using the QR code. Payne the counter.

Chong Qing Cuisine is such a gem and quickly became one of my favorite spots for Chinese noodle soup. We stopped by for a late lunch on a rainy day, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is small but clean and cozy, with counter seating and a few tables, fitting about 20 people total. It definitely feels like a family run spot. Seating can be tough when it's busy, and street parking is the only option, but it's worth it. Ordering through the QR code was actually really nice. We could take our time and see pictures of all the dishes. Portions were very generous. The Boiled Fish Pickled Cabbage Noodle was huge, so big I had to take half home, and the broth was incredibly flavorful. The Spicy Beef Noodle was just as comforting and rich. The Mapo Tofu was delicious with bold spices and that classic Szechuan pepper kick. We also tried the tangerine soda, which tasted just like the Asian orange soda I had as a kid. Service was minimal but friendly, with water refills and check ins. Overall, amazing food, great flavors, and a cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

Great little noodle spot with bold flavors This place is a hidden gem! We came on a weeknight and it was pretty packed, but luckily we snagged the last open table. Ordering is super convenient through a QR code, which made customizing our meals really easy. We started with the garlic cucumbers, which were crisp and refreshing. I had the dry mixed beef noodles (less spicy, thin noodles) and my husband got the dry mixed noodles with pork and peas (regular spice, wide noodles)--both were fantastic. The spice level was just right for us, flavorful with a good kick but not overwhelming. Food came out fast, and service was quick and efficient. My only small wish is that they had more appetizer options, but honestly, the noodles were so satisfying that it didn't matter much. Definitely a spot we'd come back to!

Absolutely amazing! The pork intestine noodle soup was incredible -- it really reminded me of home. The owner was super nice and even gave us salted egg yolk mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival! I came right when the restaurant opened this time, and the food came out really fast. The broth was rich and flavorful, definitely one of the best I've had. I've been here a few times -- the fried rice noodles and beef noodles are decent, but the pork intestine noodles are truly outstanding! Highly recommended!

If you're craving authentic Sichuan flavors, Wuwei Chong Qing Cuisine off South King Street is the spot! This tiny hole-in-the-wall has only five tables, so expect a wait--especially after 6 PM when the regulars start lining up. Ordering is super easy via QR code, and service is lightning-fast. 5-Spiced Beef Tendon - Tender, flavorful, and packed with that signature Sichuan spice. A great way to start the meal! 5-Spiced Braised Chicken Feet - If you love chicken feet, this version is rich, well-seasoned, and falls right off the bone. Duck Blood Rice Noodle - Silky, smooth noodles in a bold, spicy broth with an umami kick. We added braised beef on the side, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Dry Double Cooked Pork Noodle - A must-try! Perfectly chewy noodles tossed with smoky, savory pork and intestines for extra richness. The Sichuan flavors are strong, so if you order spicy, be ready for heat! Parking: Limited street parking or a small lot behind the restaurant. Wuwei brings the real Chongqing spice, and it's totally worth the wait. Get here early or be prepared to join the line!

Four and a half stars. I only ordered to go. The place is very very small and very very popular. I will have to return because I feel I didn't get the whole experience. I had two noodle dishes. One being those specialty and the other was a pork and vegetable dish. I ordered both spicy and they were spicy. Service over the phone and when I got my food were both excellent. The food was great if you like Szechuan peppers and the numbing feeling in your mouth. I need to return to try other dishes.

Love this spot! I ordered their pork noodles with green bell peppers. I ordered it mild since I don't eat too much spicy food these days. You order from QR code on the table and place order on the website. Service was quick and friendly. You can opt less oil too for your dishes. There's small parking lot in the back.

My favorite spot when needs a kick of spice and noodles. Always order my favorite duck meat noodles and also an order of slice potatoes no rice. Must try!

Finally good noodles in Honolulu. None of the options on Waikiki are good. I got the house special rice noodle with mild spice and tbh it was a bit spicy for being mild- be ready. The rice noodles were great- they're like the thicker rice noodles that you get with bun bo hue. I also added an egg. Would eat here again!

    Tricia M.

Food was very spicy. You order on your phone and you can choose the spicy level. We did choose the least spicy option. Service was ok although you don't really speak to anyone since you order on your phone. The place is very very small...maybe 5 tables. Parking is in the back lots of spaces

House Beef Noodle Soup with Light Spice ($15.99)
    Suri S.

One of the best braised beef noodle soup ($15.99) in Hawaii. Well balanced, great flavor, perfect soft noodles, light spicy, tender fall apart beef in separate bowl. I highly recommend ordering it which is their signature dish. I recall seeing mostly everyone order for their table. I would come back solely for this delicious soup. Menu/Ordering: Wood QR code https://www.fetail.com/storev2/shop?code=bfda7eb0fb0332619d5de1b8a2162960&t=1635107839 We ordered through the phone to make it easier for them, and they swiftly brought the soup within 10 minutes. They did bring the check at the end in case you didn't want to pay on the phone. There are about 5 wooden bench tables to sit (fits 4 people). It is smaller and you will have to maintain good posture since there are no backs. Not as ideal for taller people. Street parking. Service was very typical for Chinese restaurants. Minimal greeting, seated immediately, not much interaction besides receiving food and check, waters were refilled though. I disliked how silent the restaurant was, you can mainly hear the workers shouting in the back and other customers conversations. Would be nice if they played some music and offered hot tea like other places. Overall, I liked the fast service and delicious beef noddle soup so I will be back!

It says suite 101 but a review says it's on the top floor of the building?

It's on the first floor across the street from McCully Zippy's. There's a doughnut shop next door in the same building.

Where can I park my car?

They have a parking lot behind the building. Turn left at the stop light right after you pass Wu Wei, and the parking is to your left. Check the photos.

Good thing all of the food came out as they were ready, since items like their fresh blanket noodles took longer to prepare (but def worth the wait). So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

That was the first thing we ordered and the waiter asked if we've had it before so they could make sure that they presented it as the picture show it. Food was promptly delivered, and staff was very friendly. It's also BYOB and there's a Foodland in the parking lot so that was a plus as we went to the store to get some alcohol. Restaurant is very casual with about 10 to 12 tables. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but they moved with the quickness to make sure everyone got their food timely. I love the presentation of the flying noodle, although I was in a fan of the dish itself as it had a little sweetness, which I wasn't a fan of. It was just OK to me. However, everything else we ate was tasty and decently priced.
