    Mango pomello

If ever you are in China Town and are craving a refreshing beverage, this is your spot! All the items served here are made with fresh ingredients! They actually run out of certain drinks as a result. I've tried both the avocado and the mango pomello smoothies and both are fantastic. Not too sweet! It was so good that we went every day during our visit to Oahu! Yana was always there and greeted us with a smile. Always busy as they have "regulars" visiting and always commenting that this is the best smoothie in the area as everything is made fresh. Also, the value is definitely there. This is cheaper than your typical Jamba Juice smoothie. We will definitely be back when we are in town and will miss our smoothies back home.

Refreshing beverage in Honolulu, Hawaii... Since I was in Chinatown on a Sunday when metered street parking is free, I tried to find Sweetyee because my friend, Angel H. was there and wrote a review with photos. She was right when she said to look for the bright pink storefront! The entrance is on Maunakea Street - even though the address is Hotel Street. Sweetyee is located across the street from Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery. This is a takeout only vendor with a kind woman doing everything... taking orders, making change, pounding up the lemons and other fresh fruits, and heat sealing the cups. She's awesome! My watermelon lemon tea was wonderful on this sunny April morning! Wishing this new business much success!

This small little place is a gem!! Was so thirsty and hot and we stumbled upon this place. Two ladies working hard filling to go orders and anyone coming up to order. They definitely have the system down operating seamlessly. We ordered the mango pomelo sago smoothie and I highly suggest it. I would come back just for this drink it was so delicious!

I haven't been to Chinatown in a while. I was there today to get dim sum for lunch. As we were walking down Maunakea we saw this new boba and smoothie shop. You can't miss it. It's the only pink storefront on the street. It was a hot day, so we wanted something to quench our thirst. We decided to try the mango pomelo sago $7.99. It was delicious. It was creamy, sweet and had bits of real mango in it. It was a lot better than how most boba shops make it. The two other drinks I want to try are the papaya smoothie and cheese foam watermelon tea. There was one person working in the shop. The woman was the cashier and made the drinks. She was nice and efficient. The drink came out fast.

This Saturday was my fourth time buying drinks at this store. Today I bought the avocado sago pudding, and it tasted amazing! The price was also very reasonable, only $7.99, and the ingredients were very fresh. A little boy came to help out today; it was the first time I'd ever met him. He accidentally spilled my drink, and the lady in the store kept apologizing and comforting him. Later I learned that the boy had just turned 16, and this was his first job. I sincerely encouraged him to keep it up! Although he made mistakes, he was very conscientious and responsible, cleaning up all the spilled drinks. He's such a good kid; keep up the good work!

My bf and I got the reusable jars so we could come back for $7 refills. This smoothie is such a good deal, idk if you can find fresh fruit smoothies for this price anywhere else on the island. My first time here I got the strawberry lychee, which was super good!! If you want a less sweet option the passion fruit mango has more of a tang/tartness. We got lucky the first time we came (on a Sunday morning), as there was no line. The second time we came there was a wait of about 10 people in front of us!! I'm told that's pretty normal for this shop. While waiting in line the sweet owner handed out samples of the strawberry blueberry smoothie--also amazing and a combination I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. The strawberry guava and strawberry banana smoothies are also as you might guess SO good. 10/10 I will be coming back with my reusable jar soon!!

They use real fruit for their smoothies, non of that fake syrup stuff, you can taste the difference. No sit down area, it's an order to go kinda spot. My faves so far: Freeze dried fruit packet $15, dragonfruit & strawberry smoothie $7. Definitely returning!

Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Seating is limited so it may be difficult to find seating especially during high traffic meal times. May have better luck finding seating outside. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

(I used to frequent the Kahala location back before its Ku'ono Marketplace glow-up.) I'm usually an acai bowl loyalist at Lanikai Juice, so smoothie sampling was a first sip adventure. Location: Inside SALT at Our Kaka'ako, facing Ala Moana Blvd. Parking: Closest lot sits at the corner of Ala Moana Blvd and Coral St (entrance on Coral). You can also use the SALT lot on Keawe St, or play musical chairs with street parking. The Coral St lot is paid via QR code posted on signs - snap, register, and pay before you bounce. Atmosphere: Compact, but still has that classic Lanikai Juice feel. Seating is scarce, but we scored the seat jackpot with the window-facing bar (perfect for a trio). Drinks, snacks, and merch line the walls, while cup and bowl sizes are clearly displayed at the register - no guesswork needed. Drinks: I went with the Lanikai Splash, while my friend and her boyfriend ordered the... "I-don't-remember" smoothies. Mine hit the spot, and judging by their nods of approval, theirs did too. Service: Smooth, our drinks were blended and in hand within 5-10 minutes. Price: Roughly $30 total, generously covered by my friend's boyfriend. Would I return? Parched and passing by? Sure!

I tried several bowls including the Da Cove, Mana, Lava, Hapa, and Hawaiian. The fruit in every bowl tasted incredibly fresh and everything was really enjoyable. My fav was definitely the Hawaiian because it includes paʻiʻai, which I later learned is hand-pounded steamed taro. It had a slightly chewy, paste like texture that was really good and added something special to the bowl. I would easily recommend this spot to anyone visiting. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Hawaii. We didn't get a chance to try any of their other food or drinks though, so that's something I'd want to check out next time. There are quite a lot of seats inside, which makes it fairly easy to find a place to sit. They do have parking right in front of the shop, but the spaces are a little tight. The bathroom was a bit questionable though it was very dimly lit and seemed to double as a storage area.

The acai is so thick and flavorful, the granola has the perfect crispy texture, and the HONEY - incredible; simply out of this world. This place has literally ruined all future acai bowls for me. I came twice. The first time I got the regular size (16 oz) and the ratio of acai to toppings/granola was perfect. I got the large (24 oz) during my second visit and felt the ratio was off with not enough toppings/granola for the amount of acai in the large. If you want a well balanced bowl I recommend going with the regular size. Not much seating available, more of a grab and go type of place. We ordered a latte, an açai bowl, and a smoothie. I was bummed that my smoothie could not be customized. The base was premade so I was not able to make any adjustments to it. Our items were ready in a reasonable amount of time. The portion size was a little smaller than we expected. As for taste, the açai bowl was good. The smoothie was a little bland, but at the same time, had a tad too much honey. Service was wonderful. We would visit again.
