The location is settled comfortably in a corner shop in a small shopping plaza. I could see there being a parking issue if the Japanese restaurant next door is busy. (Adding that place to my list of places to try..) I did not expect the inside to be as large as it is. It's very open and quaint. Our service was quick, though we were the only customers at the moment. It seems like it would be a great place to study. The gentleman taking my son's order was kind and patient, while waiting for my son to decide what he really wanted. The order total was $9.00, after $1 and change tip (I rounded up). I had a sip and thought the strawberry smoothie was very flavorful and not too sour or sweet. My son said he wants to go back already and get a second one. Or wished they had a jumbo option.

Outside view, parking ok during the day but can be difficult around dinner time

I live near here but had never been so I decided to try it on a Saturday afternoon walk. There was one other person waiting for their order when we arrived and one person working making the drinks, we saw the kiosk and did the order from there which allows customization. It took about 5-7 minutes to get the order. I got the jasmine milk tea with cheese foam and my daughter did the ube milk tea with ube foam, both at 75% sweetness and with soy milk. Overall, it was ok, tasted a little watery and not sweet enough for my tastes. Probably will do regular milk next time and 100% sweetness. Customer service not really part of the experience, you order and they call your name and you pick up at the counter. Setting is cute and modern, everything felt clean. I like the menu options and the variety of toppings available, especially the ube foam.

Delicious! Best Fresh Strawberry Smoothie we have had across the island so far! Friendly workers and the inside is cute and has ample seating and bathroom. They currently have a great BOGO going on too! Buy one get one free but it has to be the exact same size and drink. So we got (2) Large Hong Kong Milk Teas & (2) Large Thai Teas. We also tried the Mango Pomelo Sago YUM! Will definitely be back again! You can also order online! Pay cash & save some money! Free parking and street parking. Across the street from Jack in the Box, between Subway and Baskin Robbins. They have music and sell bagged pastries. Wish I took more photos. *I enjoy the milk teas here because they are not overly sweet like other places. It's how an authentic milk tea should taste. My preference from having milk tea in China.*

I went here today for an afternoon snack after my head spa appointment that shares a same parking lot as this place. They have savory and sweet pastries here as well as variety of drinks. I got their brown sugar milk tea with boba, hot dog pastry and coconut mochi. Cute spot here in town that you can hang out at and grab bite.

Free parking! There is a parking lot right in front of the store as they share the lot with Baskin Robbin's ice cream. Any plaza with free parking on the island deserves a shout out. Decor: cute and comfy Service: friendly staff members Prices: fair and comparable to other boba places on the island I stumbled on to a promo deal they had which was BoGO (buy one get one free) and boy did I score! Took the nephews out for a yummy drink and boy did I lucked out with this bogo deal. The boys got the strawberry mocha drink which comes with fresh strawberry bits, popping boba, and white mochi. They seemed to like the drink. I got the strawberry smoothie which was on the icy side which I like (milk and strawberry powder I assume). I'm not a fan of a thick consistency found with true fruit smoothie so the "icy ness" of these "smoothies" but it a lot tastier to me.

I'm always excited to try new Boba place. Boba House was by accident really. I had lunch at I-naba and came here to just hang out. It's right next to I-naba. This is such a cute place. My usual drink is Oolong milk tea or Jasmine milk tea. I tried their Oolong milk tea this time. The lady said the boba is already included so I got minus the boba since I just had lunch. (I always appreciate extra touch because every store is different.) My next milk tea is usually some kind of green or jasmine milk tea and I saw that they had both. Hmmmm.... I wonder what the difference is. That will be my next adventure. Oolong milk tea was perfect, nice, smooth and just right not too watery and not too strong. There are few tables and counter area to hangout with your peeps. Free parking right in front too. I recommend avoiding lunch or dinner time rush hour so you don't compete for free parking. Besides, boba drinks are dessert anyway. Friendly staff, clean and tidy boba place. I was so excited for this place that I wrote this review before I-naba.

Got the strawberry mochi drink which came with pudding, strawberry poppers, and real strawberries. We also added in regular boba balls. I will say that the boba balls were below average as it wasnt savory and tasted like it was made the day before. But boba balls aside, it was a unique and solid drink. The best way I can describe it is if you ever had those strawberry mochi ice cream balls, it's basically the milk tea version of that with a couple of pleasant surprises like the bursting strawberry balls and the creamy mochi flavor. Overall it was a solid drink that I'd definitely get again. The parking lot is pain in the butt when it's full because the lot is so small that it's hard to get in and out. Plus when getting out you have to turn on to king street with a bike lane. I definitely wont be going during peak traffic time

We did a 9-mi trek on a Sunday and this placed randomly caught our eye. We've been trying to visit all the boba places we can and we're glad we were able to stop at this one. The shop was so cute and spacious and nice and cool! I think we were on our 5th mile when we got to Boba House so we were hot and sweaty! I tried the mango and the kiddos tried the peach and lychee smoothies. They were delish! There were 3 workers and they were nice. There were no other people there so we had the shop to ourselves and enjoyed our drinks on the cool AC. The only gripe id mention is the boba straws were really flimsy so they cracked a few times. We drank half there and decided to take the rest to go, we got new straws before we left and as soon as we got out they cracked again. We just had to be careful when drinking or our lips would get pinched. Other than that this place was great!

I've been here twice now. The first time, I picked up a drink because I was trying to kill time. It was my first time at Boba House so I asked the cashier what drink she liked and she recommended the strawberry mochi drink. It was pretty good! I was surprised I liked it. It was pretty much half toppings: popping boba, jelly, soft mochi and strawberry jam(?). I liked the bits of strawberries and the fact that it was basically a meal. It was perhaps a bit too sweet, but I wonder if I could have adjusted the sweetness. It was $8. The second time I came here I ordered the mango pomelo sago drink, which is also $8. When I got it, it was only yellow, so I was thinking maybe the pomelo was the yellow/white variety, but I couldn't taste any pomelo. If they didn't have pomelo to make the drink, I would have ordered something else even though the mango was pretty good. They were also out of boba. This second time I came, I ended up staying for a bit. They don't play music inside, which I think is kinda weird. parking can also be an issue during the dinner rush because I-naba is right next door and pretty popular.

I don't know when Boba House opened, but we tried it for the first time on Tuesday and were back again today. I'm starting to get addicted to this strawberry mochi drink! Super good. Inside is clean and the young guy who made our drinks was really friendly. As others mentioned, know your car well because parking is tight - or park on the street and walk down. Definitely worth trying!

This is gonna be a quick review. It's nearly 11pm and I need sleep. We ordered from Boba House for the first time tonight. I won't lie, it was the BOGO offer that sealed the deal. Ya gotta love the Buy One, Get One Free deals when they're being offered! I didn't option for a Boba Drink this time instead I optioned for a Brown Sugar Milk Tea at 75% sweetness. Right off the bat I noticed that my drink wasn't filled all the way to the "fill line", my Daughters was full, so I'm thinking I got what was left over after pouring hers into her cup. The tea was strong and the flavor wasn't playing any games. I liked it a lot but just short of loving it. My daughter had the free drink and loved it. 4 stars. Next visit I'm getting this Strawberry Mochi Drink everybody's raving about. ITS ALSO ON THE BOGO LIST!

The shop itself is really cute and has a nice, welcoming vibe. I was excited to try their drinks, but unfortunately, the boba just didn't live up to the presentation. The flavor was very mild and a bit bland, and the pearls didn't have much taste or chewiness. It wasn't terrible, but I was hoping for something more flavorful to match how great the place looks.

It's Treat O'Clock Baby! Celebrating self-love. While picking up a few musubis at Mana Musubi, I observed Boba House located a few steps nearby. The weather was warm and I thought a cool drink will be nice to treat myself. This place looked new. Nathan who took my order informed me that they opened approximately four months ago. Other Yelp reviews state that this place opened in 2/24! Thanks Nadine C. I asked a number of questions about the menu and settled with the Fresh Fruit Strawberry Smoothie at 1/2 sweet. No boba, just fruit. The regular smoothies do not have fresh fruit and powdered mixes are used. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste the strawberries. It tasted more like milk powder with a smidgen of fresh (?) strawberry flavor. Maybe it was the 1/2 sweet? No taste really at all. The store was clean and filled with wall art and cute adornments. Boba House has a stamp card and there is an indoor bathroom available. Food: 2.5 out of 5 stars. Service: 4 out of 5 stars. Ambiance: 4 out of 5 stars. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars. Update: Boba House responded to powdered milk reference in my review. I should clarify that your employee informed me of this. Thank you for clearing this matter up for us.

This might be one of the only places in Waikiki open at 4 AM which is perfect if you've just arrived the night before from the East Coast. The inside of the shop feels homey. They have a display case full of pastries along with additional baked goods set out nearby. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a coconut latte and then ordered a blueberry malasada while my father went with a custard-filled one. At Maleko, the malasadas are pre-made but not filled until you order which I think is a smart move. I first tried my blueberry malasada and thought it was good. The dough was light and fluffy and the filling had a great flavor. As for my coffee, I have to agree with other reviews that the syrup made it overly sweet. I still drank it, but I definitely would have preferred something less sweet. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again for the malasadas. As for the coffee, I would probably pass unless you prefer your drinks on the sweeter side.

It was less than three dollars including tax, so definitely affordable. The guava filling was great, but the donut itself was kind of bland. If it weren't so cheap, I would have given it three stars. But it was a good deal and I might go back.

This is the only standing Kulu Kulu and I hope this place does not close, or if it does relocate, come closer to Central Oahu where the rent is cheaper, haha (hint). This location is on the outer edges of Waikiki on Hobron Lane in Eaton Square. I rarely venture to Waikiki, and if I do make the dreaded drive to "town", this place and Kan Sushi will be the only regular places where I will make my stop(s), because its so worth it. I've had a long-standing love-affair with Kulu Kulu from the Shirokiya Food Court location with it's waffle bears and Hello Kitty waffles, the takeout Nama Chocolate cups stocked at Mitsuwa Marketplace and now here, in town. The Ube Coconut Mousse $6.95 blew our minds, it was THE best tasting thing, ever. Both the ube and the coconut were not cloying, and as with all of their treats, not overly sweet either. That's why I love Japanese pastries, they get the sweetness just perfect and I have no idea how they mastermind that ratio! Strawberry Panna Cotta $5.95 was creamy, flavorful, delicious and surprisingly light and refreshing for such a creamy dessert. I normally don't get this kind of combination of flavors, and it tasted like something you'd get in a Michellin-rated establishment. Looking back at the photos, I see vanilla bean seeds in the panna cotta, so every loving detail and nuance shows through with each mouthful. Nama Chocolate $5.75 is my go-to chocolate LOVE. It's cut into cool creamy semi-sweet squares dusted with cocoa and it melts in your mouth! This is my favorite of all things that Kulu Kulu makes. I actually enjoy this better than the famous Royce Chocolates from Japan. We ordered another seasonal Strawberry dessert slice cake but it was eaten before I could review (and/or taste it); I've heard it was very very delicious. This place is so good that I plan to bring my friends who will be visiting from Virginia here to try their pastries. I also plan to support this business for as long as I can and make more frequent trips to town just to get these amazing desserts.
