I used the BOGO Ubereats deal to order the Brown sugar black milk tea 100% with brown sugar crystal boba. I'm surprised we had the option to pick our tea leaves though it was listed as "Brown sugar milk tea". Most places just goes straight to the 'black tea' option. However, It was my first time trying out this place so I wanted to taste the black tea first because to me, that's the initial impression for a milk tea shop. The one I ordered tasted great! My milk tea was just enough creamy where it's not sticking on your tongue creamy and not watered down either. Perfect! I love that I could also taste the tea and it was not overpowered by the sugar and dairy. I read other reviews and thought 100% sweetness would be okay for this place and I'm glad was :) Some other boba places' "100% sweetness" taste like straight up ice cream milkshake type of sweet lol The service was fast because my delivery came within 15-20 minutes right after I placed the order. Came around 2:40pm on a Saturday. The cafe was empty save for one customer studying/working in the corner by the window. Even though I saw a sign that says "fueled by Kpop" (or something similar) it was very quiet. We were greeted by the one staff behind the counter, and she let us peruse the menus. I asked if they had a signature drink and she pointed us to the Popular list, Strawberry Mochi. Wasn't in the mood for strawberry tho and Mango Pomelo Sago caught my eye so I ordered that. After a bit the hubs ordered Jasmine Milk Tea, half sweet, with boba. The MPS feels like an ice-blended smoothie/slushy with bits of frozen mango, frozen aloe, and frozen sago. The sweetness level is just right and I liked it for the most part. I didn't like the frozen aloe and sago bits because textures were strange. Perhaps the pomelo was also frozen and I couldn't tell the texture from the aloe, or if I did encounter some pomelo pulp it was minimal. The JMT tea flavor was surprisingly strong. The jasmine teas I've had have been mild and floral but this one was almost oolong-y. I almost wish there was a bit more milk. The sweetness level was acceptable as well. The boba though... the texture almost going hard but still QQ yet I was still able to discern the sweetness. It's very spacious inside. Looks clean and modern cheerful minimalist. As others have mentioned, I'd imagine parking can be a challenge during mealtimes. Because King Street is a one-way road, I would also say Boba House is very easy to miss if you're not familiar with this area. The shop is in the very corner spot and its sign is completely obscured by Subway, regardless if you're on Punahou Street or King Street. 3.5 stars read more

The location is settled comfortably in a corner shop in a small shopping plaza. I could see there being a parking issue if the Japanese restaurant next door is busy. (Adding that place to my list of places to try..) I did not expect the inside to be as large as it is. It's very open and quaint. Our service was quick, though we were the only customers at the moment. It seems like it would be a great place to study. The gentleman taking my son's order was kind and patient, while waiting for my son to decide what he really wanted. The order total was $9.00, after $1 and change tip (I rounded up). I live near here but had never been so I decided to try it on a Saturday afternoon walk. There was one other person waiting for their order when we arrived and one person working making the drinks, we saw the kiosk and did the order from there which allows customization. It took about 5-7 minutes to get the order. I got the jasmine milk tea with cheese foam and my daughter did the ube milk tea with ube foam, both at 75% sweetness and with soy milk. Overall, it was ok, tasted a little watery and not sweet enough for my tastes. Probably will do regular milk next time and 100% sweetness. Customer service not really part of the experience, you order and they call your name and you pick up at the counter. Setting is cute and modern, everything felt clean. I'm always excited to try new Boba place. Boba House was by accident really. I had lunch at I-naba and came here to just hang out. It's right next to I-naba. This is such a cute place. My usual drink is Oolong milk tea or Jasmine milk tea. I tried their Oolong milk tea this time. The lady said the boba is already included so I got minus the boba since I just had lunch. (I always appreciate extra touch because every store is different.) My next milk tea is usually some kind of green or jasmine milk tea and I saw that they had both. Hmmmm.... I wonder what the difference is. That will be my next adventure. Oolong milk tea was perfect, nice, smooth and just right not too watery and not too strong. There are few tables and counter area to hangout with your peeps. Free parking right in front too. I recommend avoiding lunch or dinner time rush hour so you don't compete for free parking. Got the strawberry mochi drink which came with pudding, strawberry poppers, and real strawberries. We also added in regular boba balls. I will say that the boba balls were below average as it wasnt savory and tasted like it was made the day before. But boba balls aside, it was a unique and solid drink. The best way I can describe it is if you ever had those strawberry mochi ice cream balls, it's basically the milk tea version of that with a couple of pleasant surprises like the bursting strawberry balls and the creamy mochi flavor. Overall it was a solid drink that I'd definitely get again. The parking lot is pain in the butt when it's full because the lot is so small that it's hard to get in and out. We did a 9-mi trek on a Sunday and this placed randomly caught our eye. We've been trying to visit all the boba places we can and we're glad we were able to stop at this one. The shop was so cute and spacious and nice and cool! I think we were on our 5th mile when we got to Boba House so we were hot and sweaty! I tried the mango and the kiddos tried the peach and lychee smoothies. They were delish! There were 3 workers and they were nice. There were no other people there so we had the shop to ourselves and enjoyed our drinks on the cool AC. The only gripe id mention is the boba straws were really flimsy so they cracked a few times. We drank half there and decided to take the rest to go, we got new straws before we left and as soon as we got out they cracked again. I've been here twice now. The first time, I picked up a drink because I was trying to kill time. It was my first time at Boba House so I asked the cashier what drink she liked and she recommended the strawberry mochi drink. It was pretty good! I was surprised I liked it. It was pretty much half toppings: popping boba, jelly, soft mochi and strawberry jam(?). I liked the bits of strawberries and the fact that it was basically a meal. It was perhaps a bit too sweet, but I wonder if I could have adjusted the sweetness. It was $8. The second time I came here I ordered the mango pomelo sago drink, which is also $8. When I got it, it was only yellow, so I was thinking maybe the pomelo was the yellow/white variety, but I couldn't taste any pomelo. If they didn't have pomelo to make the drink, I would have ordered something else even though the mango was pretty good. They were also out of boba. This second time I came, I ended up staying for a bit. They don't play music inside, which I think is kinda weird. parking can also be an issue during the dinner rush because I-naba is right next door and pretty popular. read more

No boba, just fruit. The regular smoothies do not have fresh fruit and powdered mixes are used. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste the strawberries. It tasted more like milk powder with a smidgen of fresh (?) strawberry flavor. Maybe it was the 1/2 sweet? No taste really at all. The store was clean and filled with wall art and cute adornments. Located in the same lot as baskin robins on south king street. I pass by here all the time and didn't realize there was a boba shop. The inside is nicely renovated with a seating area. They were out of boba but I got the classic milk tea with sea salt foam at 50% sweetness. I usually don't like very sweet drinks so I would definitely go down to a 25 or even a 0 if you add the foam that may have added to the sweetness. The drinks were made quickly and there were lots on the menu. Definitely a place to check out! read more

Finally got to try them after weeks of speculating on my way home! They're right next to Inaba, in the lot sort of connected to Baskin Robbins. I can imagine it might get busy but there's also street parking. I got the strawberry milk tea and he got the classic milk tea with boba. The boba is great! Very fresh and chewy. The taste is excellent and I can tell there's has some love in em. The classic milk tea was okay. Not super special. But my strawberry milk tea, now that was the winner between our drinks. It had even like strawberry seeds from the syrup, so I felt like the syrup they used wasn't some cheap, generic one. Well, even if it was, I still liked it! I got it at 25% sweetness which if you don't like too sweet, should be perfect. Prices are actually reasonable considering how much boba prices are nowadays. Not bad at all! You can never have too much tea... Boba House is a newbie on South King Street right across Washington Middle School who seemed to have opened quietly under the radar as it's simple storefront may be difficult to see from the street view but know that they didn't skimp on the inside for sure. Walking in the cute and modern decor does makes you feel welcomed and encourages you to relax and chill among any of the tables or bar counter against the wall. Though I like my fruit teas or just plain and simple trying something different that any shop that makes it their own does gets my curiosity and here is no different as I was about to enter I notice a sign "Strawberry Mochi Drink" and the layers this drink has is like having a parfait. With sip-able mochi that slight it a slight chew it gives brings makes it along with fresh strawberries it was a very refreshing drink and would definitely recommend and would have it again. Boba House newly opened a month ago with, I think, the most affordable boba in town! Their boba ranges anywhere between $4.50 - $5.75 on their menu. Who doesn't love a great deal! Affordability doesn't mean they sacrifice quality though. Their boba was QQ and the drinks were delicious! For both of my drinks, I got it at 50% sweetness, but since I don't have a sweet tooth, I'll opt for 25% next time. Here's what I got: Hong Kong Milk Tea: Pretty good, nothing incredibly remarkable since the tea was a bit lighter than what I'm used to in Kong Kong Milk Tea. But my friend was feeling a bit tired so this was perfect for him. Strawberry Mochi: Very strawberry-forward! This drink was so refreshing since it comes they use fresh strawberry in their milk and included strawberry jelly as well. They also have so much Mochi and the texture was just By far, my favorite strawberry Mochi. I'm just being picky but I do wish that the drinks came out even colder, but they were by no means lukewarm or anything. The interior design is so cute and their little table trinkets are even cuter! I've always been into boba since I was in middle school and even more so now, so I'm always looking for a good boba shop! I've been passing Boba House a lot recently because my office is really close so decided to pop in and try them out. They have passion fruit (lilikoi) items that immediately caught my eye. But I ended up deciding to go with their special which was a strawberry mochi drink. It was really tasty and I love the mochi in it. There's very generous amounts that they put inside. I could've done without the popping boba and sub for regular boba or even no boba at all. But other than that it was really good. They put milk inside so if you're lactose I would ask them if there's a substitute for the whole milk. Next time I go I think I'll try their tea items or maybe their fresh fruit smoothies. They took the place of the sewing machine place, right next to I-Naba. There's ample parking even though it's a small parking lot. But I'm sure if you go during peak times it may be hard to find parking. I went about lunch time and found parking easily. read more

Four large tables with four chairs each. Even a little "bar" area with elevated seats. Super spacious. Calming music, tea shop environment. Personally blown away by how clean this place is. [Service] Super nice gentleman, who I presumed to be the owner assisted me. He informed me that the Hong Kong Milk Tea is made with condensed milk. [Boba] I ordered a classic milk tea with boba. Delicious! I will ask if I can adjust the sweetness next time because it was a bit sweet for me. I usually get 50% sweetness at most places. I normally order through the Uber Eats App and when I didn't see the Avocado smoothie online I called to verify. Since it's one of their most popular smoothies they sometimes run out of avocado. But I was in luck! The employee updated the availability for me and I was able to place my order. Hands down the BEST fruit smoothies on island. I like how you are able to choose a sugar level and add items like tapioca pearls or a wide selection of fruit jelly's. And their prices are extremely fair. Right next to a NABA place, Boba House can be easily missed since it's located inside a corner. Ample parking spaces are there, so when it gets busy in the NABA restaurant, expect the lot to be full. Park on a metered stall when you don't see any parking. Drinks here I would say are average (not bad)--I love how they are open at a later time--so it's perfect to come late at night. Come hang out with friends/ family since they have seating inside with wifi access and a restroom (just ask the owner or employee for them). I just usually go with regular Boba to play it safe [you kind of have to try a few drinks and see which one suits your buds!] When I go here, I usually don't see that many people inside, so it's a good place to chill with the homies. For my Boba, I would ask to add a little more ice because, for some reason, I get mine at almost a warm level when it is just given regularly. 4 stars were given because you have a place to stay when you don't know which cafe is not full or open at the moment! read more

I honestly like it cuz it's cheaper then all the area I went to before and it taste good. This place is also very chill to stay at since it's clean. They always provide free WiFi which is very fast, faster than Starbucks. The speed provided on SpeedTest By Ookla was over 500 Mbps download. They also have AC so it's not hot in here nor very cold.
