Based on the menu I found online, I thought this place had a nice selection of boba drinks. When we went in it was a bit confusing because the menu turned out to be tiny and it was a shared space with gelato and other things available. We walked past it a few times. I had a Mango Green Tea w/ strawberry popping boba and my Brother had a Honey Lemon Green Tea w/ strawberry popping boba. Both were great! A little sweeter but that's how we like it and the boba was great. Both drinks were gone before we got back to our hotel! The baristas were nice and respectful. The bar itself is tucked into a building along with a couple other food places so it was a little hard to find, we missed it at first. If you ask for less ice, you'll see a true amount if what you're getting. I generally ask for less ice because the more ice, the more it waters down my drink since I drink too slow lol. It doesn't really have anything to do with wanting more of the drink... That's just the bonus of it. That said, when I ordered less ice at this place, you can see that it doesn't mean you're getting more. As mentioned, I've always asked for less ice and this is the first time I've gotten something that's not close to being full because of it. So.. Just a heads up on that. I gave it 2 stars because my order, winter melon milk tea, was ridiculously sweet! I was able to fill the cup with more water just to water down the sweetness, but by doing that, I watered down the actual tea flavor as well. I loveeee sweets and I eat chocolates on the daily, but this was next level lol. Stopped here for a drink and a dessert. Items vary daily but usually you'll find croissants, banana bread, macaroons, and a usual cupcake or two... I noticed other reviews complaining about service. Usually I like to get smoothies from here, and they're pretty good (sometimes their sold out of my favourites though) but it always seems as though the staff are more interested in having a social gathering behind the counter and don't really care about serving the customers or anything~ Dukes Market in general has a really nice environment so you can grab a croissant from the bakery across the room to go with your drink! read more

The drinks pictured on the windows looked really good. Unfortunately, our drinks did not taste as good as the pictures looked. Got 4 drinks, ube latte, taro milk tea, strawberry something tea, and mango slushy, all with boba. The mango slushy and strawberry drinks were good. Service was meh. I see this is a chain. Teapresso is located in Duke's Lane near The Laylow and across Marukame Udon. They also sell IL Gelato here and mini cakes to pair with your milk tea. Teapresso is different because they brew the tea fresh right in front of you. Other places have pre made teas stored in a giant canister. You can adjust the level of sweetness and ice. Boba is nice and chewy and not too sweet. It's kinda out of the way for locals since there's no parking, but they have many locations in town and up at the west side. read more

Ordered their signature milk tea with pearls with no ice. I was warned by the worker(owner?) that the drink would not fill the cup due to lack of ice. I was expecting maybe a quarter of the cup would be empty. But when I received the cup, it was only 3/5 full. I felt cheated for paying $5.50 for a drink that could be drunk in 5 sips? Not worth the wait in my opinion! I got a blended taro milk tea with boba. First of all, the line was about a ten/15 minute wait and I get to the line and they say the boba will be ready in 10/15 minutes. I figured I'd wait since I had already waited in line for it. Finally got my drink and it wasn't even blended all the way, I still had ice cubes in it. The boba was not good AT ALL, it had no flavor at all. The drinks was okay, but definitely not worth it especially after having tried milk tea from Coffee or Tea? (Around the corner) which I totally recommend going to instead. My friend also got the signature milk tea and it was like 60% ice and 30% drink and and 10% boba. She asked for light ice and the person told her it would still be filled up half way with ice. She said the milk tea was okay but she finished it in like two minutes because it was mostly ice in the cup. Overall, not worth the wait for the milk tea or boba. read more

Then when I finally got my drink. I was so unhappy with the taste. It was nothing like before. They said because of the soy milk it made the hojichan turn. I never knew about Teapresso until I been to the one in Wailea and this location did not disappoint as well. I've been to a few now and the franchise is pretty consistent so everywhere you go, each Teapresso should taste the same. The dalgona coffee with boba is pretty good. I've tried a few of the milk teas and a few of the fun colorful drinks and everything is pretty good. They brew the tea themselves which is soooo cool cuz you can actually taste the tea! It is not powdered or prebrought elsewhere. Good quality! They also sell fun snacks like macaroons, unique flavor ice cream and baked goods. There is usually only one time worker so be prepared to wait in a long line if you see people ahead of you. There is a few other Teapressos in Honolulu so if you don't get try this one, it is not the end of the world. I was really happy to see this one on Waikiki. Can't believe I never knew about it prior. Can't really tell from the outside that there is a boba place inside Duke's Lane. Maybe they can hang a big signage on the sidewalk. Or maybe this place is will get more popular via word of mouth or when they read my review. Food coma is real on Waikiki so it's great washing it down with boba from Teapresso!!!
