Do not get an acai bowl here!! It was super expensive ($17!!) for a small acai bowl that clearly came from the back freezer and was frozen solid. I had to wait until it defrosted to eat it, and there was absoutely nothing special about it. The only decent thing was the strawberry was good on top. I would never come back, at least for the acai.
Mini monster cafe is located in the Royal Hawaiian food court. I had this place saved for a while and in my quest to find my favorite matcha I wanted to give it a try. I got the 16 oz lavender matcha, it was just the right amount of sweetness for me (a lot of matchas are too bitter for me) and the lavender was subtle and not overpowering. I also thought $6.50 is a very good price for 16 oz in Waikiki. My daughter got the taro milk tea with boba and it was very good, not too milky maybe too sweet for some but exactly the level I like. They weren't busy when I arrived but it did take about 2 minutes for someone to come and take my order, it's because the person making the drinks was also taking orders. Service was straightforward. Ambiance is a food court, I recommend going to get a dessert at kulu kulu to go with your drink. They are famous for their Thai tea and I want to come back to try that.
This is an actual hidden gem!! Get the mason jar, it's a great souvenir and they offer discounted refills!! The jar is huge. I got the Thai Coffee with Oat milk and asked for extra bitterness and they delivered. I honestly just love the jar and staff recommendations and kindness. Go to the second floor and you'll find it in the food court.

They also have cute glass cups for $6 extra which isn't too bad given the tourist location. Pretty average cost for boba shop bottles. Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Boba - they lessen the sweetness by adding cold brew apparently which is interesting. boba had a decent chew but could use better marination for flavor. Jasmine tea was present through a calm, floral taste.
Cute little gem found in the Royal Waikiki Food Hall on the 2nd floor. Coffees are all pour over which is a plus! The service is fast and the girl behind the counter was friendly. Got the Aloha latte, smooth and delicious! Also got the strawberry matcha latte w/boba. Boba balls were nice and chewy and there was a lot at the bottom of the cup! Great drinks overall! Would definitely come back again!
We came here pretty much the whole time we were here for our Trip. ordered the Thai coffee and the Haupia coffee. Also tried the Mac nut latte as well. The haupia coffee is our favorite. I recommended this one. It's located at the food court. About a ten minute wait for coffee.

It wasn't too busy but I can't say much because it's located in Waikiki and in a food court which is just a recipe for craziness! However overall the service was quick and fantastic,. If you're in the food court craving a quick drink you should stop by here!

Coconut matcha is one of my favorite drinks. Coconut water with a light matcha foam on top. Mini whips up the foam fresh and I requested no sugar, which they complied. This is absolutely delicious and thirst quenching. Their whole menu looks inventive and I would love to try some other drinks. Great service. It's located in the food court. They sell coffees, teas, milk teas, fruit drinks and matcha drinks. The hubby and I decided to share a drink because I wanted to get the bear jar and it's huge. We decided on the Sunrise Lilikoi Tea with lychee jelly. It was so good and refreshing. We got it at 100% sweetness and it was perfect for me. It was a little sweet at first, but when the ice melted it got diluted. The cashier asked if we wanted lilikoi seeds in the drink, but we declined. The drink was $5.95 plus $0.85 for the lychee jelly. The bear jar was another $6. The total was $12.80 before tax. You can bring the bear jar back and pay the price of the 24oz. drink. We will be back to try the other drinks. The Thai Tea is next on my list.
located in the food court is one of the few shops that sell coffee came here and tried the macadamia nut and salted coffee mac nut- same taste like sweet tea but super yummy salted coffee- creme on here is fire coffee is sweet service - straight forward , they were super kind about answering my questions ambiance - mall food court vibe

Small vendor booth in the food court at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Present your ID for Kamaaina free parking, up to 3 hours after purchase of $25 at the shopping center. Nice place to grab a dessert or drink. I decided on the acai bowl, don't remember the exact name. The acai was a little more thicker and not too sweet. The combination of the fruit, acai and the almond butter was soo good! When I'm in the area, would like to try the drinks next time. read more

Located in the food court of the Royal Hawaiian Center. This place quenched my need for a caffeine fix. Service was quick and helpful. Not sure what to get, I ordered the Mac nut latte at their suggestion. It is currently an exclusively unique drink at their Hawaii location. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more
Cute boba shop located in the food court of Royal Hawaiian Center. The food court itself is pretty clean, just usually quite busy given large amounts of tourists, but plenty of seating is available. I got the taro slush with boba at 25% sweetness in the glass jar, and it came out promptly! Service was ok, it was pretty fast! I thought the drink itself was good overall, I liked the taro flavor but it was too sweet for me despite the sugar adjustment. The boba also was a little off for my taste (unsure how to describe it) but overall it was still chewy and sweet. I thought the glass jar was super cute as well. Prices are a bit steep, but that's to be expected since it's in Waikiki. I'd def be interested in coming back to try their matcha drinks and other items on the menu! read more
I was craving boba while vacationing in Waikiki and found Mini Monster Cafe. I took off one star because you were not able to adjust the sugar or sweetness level in their drinks. Everything is premade. I ended up ordering the honey milk tea with boba. It was very tasty but a little too sweet for my liking but the boba was nice and chewy. All in all it did satisfy my boba craving. read more

I'm visiting and I've been to the location in LA before. I saw they had a location here and wanted to try because it's been a while. I came into the food court and saw they had lavender matcha. The matcha was very good and the lavender wasn't too overpowering. They also had super cute stickers and pins at the front which I really liked! The service was really great and she was very quick with my drink! read more
omg. sooooo gooooood! I got the Moana Taro Smoothie. It was moana good. Wickedly smooth, soft and chewy bobas, and heavenly when combined together. Service is also quick and efficient, with a beautiful smile. Ambiance is chill and Aloha. Go and try them now! you won't regret it. read more
Refreshing beverage in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii... My friend, Irene M., gave me a refillable jar for Mini Monster Cafe... let's use it! Located in the Food Court of Royal Hawaiian Center, Mini Monster Cafe had a short line, but it moved quickly because Rena is a cheerful, efficient worker! Rena was the only worker! She's amazing because she has to be good with money, make the drinks, and be patient, but quick with the customers! Yikes! I wouldn't be able to do this job! I've been to the Mini Monster in Anaheim, California. Our Hawaii refillable jar is cuter! Haha! I got the Sunset Strawberry Lemonade... it was really good because of the real strawberry fruit at the bottom of the jar! The fruit didn't fit through the straw. I used a tablespoon at home and ate the strawberries! This is a takeout type of business. I carried my jar home in my own insulated bag. Other people might want to sit in the shared, open-air dining area. Parking is free for the first hour with validation and a $10 purchase. I'll be back with my jar! Thank you, Irene! read more

Stopped by for some refreshing drinks. We got the Sunrise Lilikoi tea and the Strawberry milk. I really enjoyed the Sunrise Lilikoi tea, it wasn't overly sweet, just right. I liked that the staff asked if I wanted the seeds in my drink or not. Service was fast and friendly. They also have a glass drink jar with their mini monster logo and cap. It was a modern store front, clean and well organized. Come and enjoy some refreshing drinks while in Waikiki. Happy Nom Nom! read more
I love the trendy coconut water/ matcha foam, but unfortunately the one at mini monster cafe could be improved. First off, the added syrup is unnecessary since the harvest coconut water is sweet already. BUT props for using the best coconut water though! Another thing is there needs to be more coconut water to foam. It should be 80% coconut water and 20% foam instead of 50/50. There was a little too much foam for my taste and therefore the taste of milk overwhelmed the drink. Still good but could be better. read more

This place just opened up in the food court area in Royal Hawaiian Center and I was so excited! They have a variety of options of drinks and honestly, they all tasted amazing! I'm not a huge fan of the boba balls, but they have amazing bobas! I tried out their Thai Tea and it was just the right amount of sweetness. They have fruity drinks too that you can order if you're not in a mood for milk teas! They even have coffee in there too! Their Hawaii Jar is super cute and could be a good souvenir if you're visiting! Service was good and drinks were served pretty fast! Definitely worth to check out if you're in Royal Hawaiian Center and needing a quick boba fix! read more
Whoo hoo! Snow monsters oc is finally open! I've been peeking at their Instagram often since they announced they were opening sometime this week. They sneakily put up a post with white letterings that they had a low key opening today and soft opening from tomorrow. Lucky for me I work nearby and they opened shortly before I finished my shift so I walked over to the royal Hawaiian shopping center food court to take a look. There was no line so I was able to walk right up and order. I chose the sunset strawberry lemonade in a glass jar for ($12) let's be honest tho. I didn't need the jar, but I got it for the gram. Lol. It was also too cute to pass up. I got my drink pretty quick. Just be patient with them as they're still learning. You can always park at the shopping center and get it validated as long as you spend $10 or more for kamaaina (3 hours parking) their garage is kinda tight tho so it's perfect if you have a compact car. read more
