Never misses, they seem to have a new menu! The taro mochi milk shaved ice was something new I tried. We got the medium and it looks small but it's A LOT, I feel like the large is like DOUBLE the medium though (medium feeds 2-3, large feeds 4-5+). I would say that they should put this in a larger bowl and make it less tall as our shaved ice collapsed 2 minutes into eating it and the ice cream plopped onto the table.
First time going to this place and it's at Ala Moana on the lower level by the parking structure. They have a quite large of a menu with lots of different options for everyone's taste buds or whatever type of dessert they're feeling. Ordered the mango shave ice and it's a lot bigger than you think it's gonna be. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of a real mango fruit that they have in it. It. took about three people to finish it. It wasn't overly sweet or saturated. It was quite delicious. I would definitely get this again, but if they had it in a smaller size because there's no way I could finish this on my own even for the medium size. Would like to try other dessert options seeing as their waffles smell amazing and are quite popular.
This may be the only boba place that offers hot boba milk tea in town. I was needed a nice pick me up mid-shift, and my office is quite cold. The tea helped caffeinate, energize and warm me up. Price point is fair. I appreciate the customizations--such as adjusting the sweetness--available for the drinks. I noticed a couple of guests were doing work, which makes sense given the large space, tons of seating and available WiFi. Customer service was good. Drinks made well. Will be back!

Very clean and pleasant the young lady was very helpful in explaining the menu to me and gave me suggestions on what I could order since I'm allergic to gluten and don't have diary. I ended up getting these taro balls that were so delicious I had to get another order of them. On a whim I decided I wanted a soupy dessert tonight, despite the ugly rainy and chilly weather. Off to Meet Fresh we went! Instead of our usual Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice (I just realized I've been miscalling it Brown Sugar...!), I decided on the Mango Pomelo Sago cold. The kid doesn't like mango so he ordered the Signature Hot Grass Jelly Soup. I was expecting the Mango Pomelo Sago to be more soupy like the Hong Kong style dessert but it was thick and rich and still very mango-y. The pomelo looked and tasted more like grapefruit but they're close enough in flavor and texture. Each mouthful of the mango puree and jelly was sweeter than the last. The sago pearls were perfectly cooked and not mushy. The ratio of shaved ice to the puree and mango bits was just right, although the hubs and I both wished the shaved ice could be a tad finer. The Grass Jelly Soup though! No wonder it's the signature item. I am very familiar with the aroma but the grass jelly was so smooth yet still had substance. It had the consistency of soupy starch but still had a gentle almost nonexistent al dente-ness? What is this magic?! The mini taro balls and boba pearls were perfectly chewy. We're usually not taro fans but these pass the tastebuds! We could see steam from the surface but it was the perfect temperature. The kid requested the red beans put on the side, which was accommodated. The peanuts were packed separately as well, which I then munched on their own. Very pleased with our stray from the usual. It's about time we tried other desserts, maybe their tofu pudding next! Solid 4.5 stars.

If you really love it a large will suffice. But they are huge, a little pricey, but so refreshing and satisfying. Honestly we tend to get this instead of dinner because we've had a big lunch. The orders come out quickly so that's nice not to have to wait long. You get to see all kinds of desserts people have ordered. quite popular after dinner. I noticed the shop got pretty full around 730p. Seating is plentiful for bigger parties, not like some dessrt shops that offer seating only for 2-4people. Have to try the other desserts one day!
Another go to spot for me! Staff is always so friendly and greets us with a smile every time. Place is always clean and has a nice vibe where you just want to hang out and have a good time with friends. We shared an icy sorbet bowl. Lots of sorbet and lots of toppings, what more can you want? Boba, tapioca and the other chewy stuff cooked proper and not hard or mushy. We'll be back again for sure!

We had a hard time deciding because they have so many toppings and combinations that I'm not used to so didn't know which one I wanted. We decided to try the icy taro series. The dessert is pretty large so I would recommend sharing. The taro scoops are big and tasted really delicious. There were also other taro balls, boba, and red bean. It was so interesting to try these all on like shaved ice. It was really refreshing though. We also added sesame balls which I loved. There are so many choices though that I'll need to go back again. The people were so nice and patient with us. There's cute seating inside too to enjoy your dessert. Will be back to the something else!
After coming here for about 3 years I can say how much this place has improved once you give it some time. The first two visits their desserts were closer to sugar water than an actual solid shave ice but I kept coming because the toppings alone are hard to come across in a great arrangement. Their menu has also changed immensely as well. They now have egg waffles, more teas and more shave ice all of which I think are phenomenal. There's truly something here for everyone whether it's hot or cold, milk or herbal tea, soft serve or a fresh egg waffle: this place has it all. These people finally got there dessert down to a science and I couldn't be more pleased. Truly hope this is only the beginning with Taiwanese dessert shops on Oahu.

Been wanting to come back her for so long for the mango shave ice. Normally, they load up the condensed milk on it and it is delicious. I was disappointed tonight. It tasted like they forgot to put any condensed milk on it.
Great little find on the lower deck of the Ala Moana Center near the Starbucks on the Foodland side of the mall. This place serves huge over the top ice shaved desserts. They don't skimp on the portions or calories but the presentation is over the top and delicious. One dessert can serve 2-3 easily. Lots of seating on tables in a clean airy setting with friendly service.
First time ever here & I can't wait to be back. My bestie and I shared this Strawberry and Mango Shave ice with the ice cream on top. It was so good. I want to try other menu items when I bring my family here. They have a lot of seating area, it's spacious and clean. They have a kiosk in the front, that's where we ordered from. Meet Fresh has been our after-hours dessert stop for years now. Their drinks and desserts taste yummy and refreshing. Tonight, after dinner, my boyfriend and I decided to stop by and we shared a Mango Milk Shaved Ice (Medium). Mangoes are in season so they taste prefect, not overly sweet or sour. Service was fast, we got out order in less than five minutes. The ambiance is warm and inviting, although I would suggest an occasional checking of the tables as some customers don't clean up dessert drippings... Meet Fresh is always our top-of-mind for a post-dinner dessert place, if we still want to hang out and not go home just yet :) read more

I looked high and low for an ice monster replacement. The picture, description and price made it seem like their shaved ice was made from real juice ice blocks, boy did i feel TRICKED out of a 20 dollar chunks of pure ICE! It was nothing but a mount of large ice chunks, masked by slapping a layer of sugary syrup over it. The ice chunks were as large as a wonton!!! So horrible. read more
The description for this place really sums it up well. Love that they're open late night. I'm not used to the mall closing at 8pm so when we are out, a nice refreshing dessert is perfect. We usually get a fresh fruit shaved ice but decided to try the azuki/boba one this time. This was shared amongst 6 of us and we still could barely finish the Large. It's great that it's not too heavy. Maybe not be the best quality but definitely convenient! The place gets pretty packed at nice. I love that there are three different ways to order: cashier, kiosk, or your phone. Highly recommend downloading the app for rewards! read more
From boba drinks to ice cream desserts everything here was so good. Only down side to it , is that since new D&B opened up here. It's so hard to find parking. Tried Meet Fresh for dessert after AYCA since it's nearby. Nice setting. Since we used the self serve kiosk to order, we never interacted with the staff. We got the mango-strawberry which looked pretty. It was a big portion that can easily be shared by 2-3 people. The only negative is that at the end, it tends to be overly sweet and when the shaved ice melt it feels like your drinking syrup. At $20, it seems more expensive than comprable places. read more
I've been a longtime fan of Meet Fresh, but the quality has seriously gone downhill. The desserts don't taste as good as they used to. On top of that, service feels rushed and inconsistent compared to before. Meet Fresh used to be a place I'd happily recommend, but lately it feels like they're cutting corners and letting poor quality desserts be served. This past time I got a fully melted bowl of shave ice it was like drinking soup couldn't finish it and threw it away. Probably won't be coming back unless things improve. read more
Great dessert place that's open pretty late. I like how you can order from the side screen or with the friendly staff. The service is fast and easy. There are booths and tables you can choose from. It gets colder the more you eat your dessert, so bring a sweater if you get cold easy. I ordered a lot of different things before but this time we got grass jelly! I love the shave ice here. The large is massive and the almond float with mochi is elite. The mochi has the perfect chew and always tastes fresh. The shave ice is packed with flavor and I never need extra syrup because they nail it every time. The only downside is the service. They're not the friendliest and definitely not the most helpful. Discovered Meet Fresh after seeing it on an advertisement board at Ala Moana, and it turned out to be such a hidden gem. My friend and I shared the Taro Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, and it was so yummy! We ordered a medium, and it was more than enough to share. The shaved ice was light and creamy, and the taro and mochi combo was perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. They also have a nice seating area and free WiFi, which makes it a great spot if you're looking to sit, study, or just relax for a bit. Staff was friendly and service was quick despite it being pretty busy. If you're at Ala Moana and craving a sweet treat, I'd highly recommend stopping by Meet Fresh! read more
Service was great, they were very patient with us, price wasn't bad. We got a large black sugar shaved ice to share for the 6 of us. The ice could have been finer with more syrup towards the bottom and middle, the boba wasn't consistent. Some were a little harder in the middle. We just had lunch and a large filled us up. Great ambience and reasonably price. I got the milk tea with grass jelly and it was perfect. I'm not a big fan of boba so to get it with grass jelly was an awesome option. Service was great. Came with friends after dinner. This was my first time here. I'm not much for sweets, so I've been skeptical about trying this place. We ordered the icy taro ball signature. To my surprise, the level of sweetness was on point for me. I will definitely have it again! The serving size was generous. Located on the Kona St side, ground floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. You order, pay, and seat yourself. There's ample seating and tables for larger groups. read more
Love the inside aesthetic, just the tables are a little close together sometimes making it difficult to get in and out of the tables. They have complimentary water which I think is very convenient. The portion sizes are definitely perfect for sharing between 3-4 friends which I think justifies the prices. Have not tried the drinks yet but definitely will return in the future. Service was a little slow just because of how much business they had at the time but they have a screen showing how long your order may take and when it is about to be ready which was very convenient. read more
Dropped by Meet Fresh at Ala Moana around 8:50pm on a Friday and it was busy! There were only a few tables left. We ordered to-go but ate there just in case we didn't finish: lemon winter melon tea with melon jelly, the original waffle, and Hot Grass Jelly Soup A. Here's a breakdown for yall. Ambience/service: * I like the open, chill vibe and high ceilings... feels airy even when it's busy. * Service was prompt. The uncle at the counter was friendly, repeated my order, and the pickup system is easy: your receipt has a number that pops up on the screen and gets called, so you can't miss it. * Downside: the tables. They don't really clean between guests, so be ready to do a quick wipe yourself. The stickiness is kind of a recurring turn-off here. Please fix this! Food/drinks: * Lemon winter melon tea w/ melon jelly: Solid pick. I usually get winter melon at places like Mr. Tea, and this was a decent substitute. Not too sweet, in my opinion. The "top seller" tag convinced me, and it was refreshing. * Original waffle: Crispy and cooked well, but $8.50 for this? Tastes good, not sure it's worth that price. Probably wouldn't reorder. * Hot Grass Jelly Soup A: Warm, silky, and super filling. Lots of soup and peanuts; I just wish there was more actual grass jelly. There's no restroom in this establishment, FYI. Overall, I tend to enjoy their hot desserts most. The flavors and energy mostly make up for the less-than-clean tables. If you can handle wiping down your own spot, it's a good late-night sweet fix with quick service. Would come back for the hot desserts and drinks; skipping the waffle next time. read more

A nice place to go for dessert after dinner! It is in Ala Moana mall so lots of parking. You can either order with the cashier or at the kiosk. My sister ordered from the kiosk & she was saying she used every finger to try to click on an item.. so she was getting a bit frustrated. My husband saw her struggling so he went to the cashier instead haha. My husband ordered the chocolate deluxe waffle & we shared it. It was delicious! My sister ordered the strawberry milk shaved ice & my cousin ordered the mangoberry milk shaved ice. They were huge! One easily could feed 3-4 people. We didn't know how big it was so I asked them if they ordered a medium or large, they said there was only one size on the kiosk. So be careful if you're ordering at the kiosk if you want the medium!! My only issue is the tables are sticky & messy with crumbs. Would be nice for a worker to wipe them every so often or leave out napkins on some tables. There is no restroom as well. So if Starbucks next door is closed (if they have a restroom) then you have to go upstairs by Jamba or center stage. read more

Meet Fresh never disappoints! I've been coming here regularly, and have finally found my favorite order.. the double taro signature! it's my absolute favorite. The texture, the flavor, the balance of sweet and earthy from the taro... its perfect, refreshing, and delicious. The toppings are always fresh, and the portion size is generous enough to share! I've tried a few other items too, and honestly, everything is good, you really can't go wrong. The vibe inside is clean and cozy, and the staff are always friendly. Whether you're a dessert lover or just curious about Taiwanese treats, this place is 100% worth checking out. read more

Amazing variety of desserts we did get their seasonal dessert and I thought it was great it might have been a little too rich for me. Service was amazing as they help you choose what you'd enjoy and give good recommendations. There is maybe a slight language barrier but it was all good after going back and forth for a bit. Atmosphere was very calm and cozy, they do offer complimentary water as well if needing something to wash it down. All in all a great place to get dessert if probably be back to try a different item. read more

Shave ice was enormous. I like that it had an option for how sweet you wanna have it. I think there was too much ice and not enough syrup or condensed milk in the middle. By the time you reach half of the ice, there wasn't any more cream to compensate for the sweetness. Service was pretty good. We got our food in a timely manner. Busy place and lots of seating. It is expensive so be prepared. read more
Maybe this was our fault for not understanding what taro paste was, but I think it is assumed that whatever is in your drink would be able to be consumed with a straw. This was not the case. Please let me know if this is what you would expect for this type of drink and I just need to order something else. The store had a lot of seating and it looked like a nice spot to meet with friends. However, it was very noisy compared it to a cafe setting and there was no bathroom access. I might give them another try if someone can recommend a different drink, but I'm okay with this trip being my last as well. read more

Wanted to get some shave ice and try something new but the menu was kinda all over the place! Some of the bowls you can make it Hot and Cold but the one I wanted to order was "Hot" but asked if they can make it "Cold" they said they couldn't and ask them if there was anything similar to this item that is cold and the cashier didn't know what was similar to it or I don't know if she understood me. So I told my friend to just order whatever. And also got the jasmine milk tea. So my friend ordered this Cold Bowl with jelly and mochi balls. I gotta say it was kinda disappointing. It didn't taste as great. Underneath all the topping looked like it was all brown sugar! It was very sweet and was not what I expected. And the topping didn't taste as great as well. There was just too much jelly and it was just super sweet! It was overwhelming! The jasmine milk tea as well it was very very sweet! Didn't understand why they had to make everything so sweet! So we didn't even finish the bowl/ drink it was too much for us! And it wasn't helpful as well that the cashier didn't help recommend anything that was good/ popular. She just kept saying I'm not sure or I don't know. I hope this place changes soon! Or maybe make the workers to try the food and give out recommendations as well! read more
