Was looking for a after dinner, smoothie place and found fortune tea. I stopped in and ordered the most popular. The mango Saba and it was out of this world delicious. Honestly, it's probably one of the best fruit smoothie Boba that I've ever had. It had real fruit flavor and amazing white tapioca. I ordered it half sweetness or 50% and it was perfect.
A cozy boba place that I love around the area! Every timeI want some refreshments here I only get one thing - Cloudy Banana w/ Brown Sugar Boba! Always a hit! Quenched thirsty! Satisfaction down to my belly. Fun to drink and love the coolness. I will always get this drink and currently not exploring any other drink from their menu. I'm short, this is my drink addiction at Fortune Tea. Lol. It's good noting that every time I come here it is not busy at all. Most of the time I'm their only customer that means my drink will always be served on time. The staff working here loves me as much as I love 'em. They were polite & understanding. They are even patience every time I ask about a certain ingredients from their drink. I highly recommend you to try their menu. One boba place at a time...
Cute store to get refreshments. It was a tough choice among many flavors. The staff was very knowledgeable, they gave me some description of both drinks I was choosing from which helped me on my choices. We got lychee smoothie with lychee jelly and taro ube smoothie. They were both really good and the taro ube smoothie has taro paste spread on the side of the cup. They have a little section at the bottom of the cup for fortune telling or if you got lucky coupon for next order.
Needed a caffeine fix on my drive home and this place popped up as an option so I figured I'd give it a try. I got the Super Fruit Tea for myself and the Passion Mango Smoothie for my friend. For mine I got it with black tea, lychee jelly, 25% sweetness and no ice. Even at 25% it was pretty sweet so if you don't like your drink sweet, go with the least sweet option! There is street parking in front and a parking lot behind. It says a lot are reserved but I found some with no signs. My drinks came out pretty fast and there's a good amount of seating to hang with friends if you plan to stay and chat.
Finally, made my way to this cafe. Located at the corner, next to Pali Longs. Not too many tables for dining in yet. Cute cafe with nice decorations and my childhood Taiwanese music. I wanted something simple so I ordered the Classic Milk Tea (large $5) with 25% sweet. It's not overly milky or overly sweet. I can taste the tea aroma in the drink which was what I want. Satisfied my milk tea craving. I noticed they have other drinks that are pretty popular that I need to come back to try next time.

Ordered a passion mango smoothie and I will say that I will make the sugar level higher next time. Overall, it was a very refreshing drink and I really liked the passion fruit seeds in the bottom. The drink was smooth, fruity, and delicious. The location is rather cute being around the corner of the street, but depending on when you come you may or may not find much street parking. The tea shop was clean, bright and simple. I actually appreciated that it wasn't too cluttered with items and their menu had options but not overwhelming. The people were friendly and fast with my order. To me, that's great service considering that you're only getting a drink! Definitely will come back again!

We love fortune tea! We stumbled upon this gem one day as we were driving. Located on pali hwy next door to Asato's and Safeway. Lots of parking in the Safeway parking lot, or street parking right in front. For some reason everytime we go to fortune tea, none of the cashier's acknowledges us. But we still come back because the drinks are really yummy. (Maybe they can smile a little more or a little hello will go a long way). They have a little eating/drinking area in their boba shop with AC! I noticed a lot of college students are in there either studying or watching a movie on their laptops. I passed by this bubble tea shop and got a grass jelly drink. It was overly sweet with no other distinct flavors, and it didn't seem worth the price. Maybe their milk tea is better, so I jotted down the address, hoping to get a nice one there next time read more

This takes first place as the winner for best boba near home. I really enjoyed their avocado smoothie with boba. I'm craving it again as I write this review. I think next time I'm going to try one of their most popular drinks, like the ube taro smoothie. Can't wait to go back. read more

One of my favorite tea places. Park in the back of the building or metered street parking Manage the sweetness 100, 75, 50, 25% The cups are smaller with less fruit in the Super Fruit Tea than before. Super fruit tea--choice of green or black tea base Refreshing! read more
How to make a Boba stop during our trip in Honolulu to curb some cravings. I found this place on yelp and thought it was promising given the high rating. Unfortunately, the drinks we got did not particularly meet expectations. The jasmine green tea with cheese foam was probably the worst drink we got - the tea was super, super dilute, and when mixed in with the cheese foam, it tasted like cheesy water. The pudding milk tea was probably the best drink we got, with a nice rich milky flavor. The passionfruit lemonade was so so. This shop seems to do best with their milky, creamy, yogurt drinks, so if you want to try this place out, I would stay away from clear teas and fruit teas. read more

This is an excellent choice for boba tea in downtown Honolulu! Choose that classic tea with nicely soft boba! Or do the brown sugar high. It's right here on Pali/Bishop Street near Longs and Safeway. Was craving something refreshing and decided to try Fortune Tea! I had ordered the Mango Yo-yo smoothie with sago at 50% sweetness level and it was really good. Service was pretty quick and staff were friendly. I thought the scratch off on the cup was really cute, revealing my fortune! read more
Fortune Tea has been on my radar since I learned about their Mochi Soy Cream Cheese Milk Tea last year. The small shop offers a plethora of drinks ranging from milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies! Their drinks are all reasonably priced and it's takeout only. Even though I wanted to try their milk tea, it was later in the day when I stopped by so I opted for something light and refreshing. I ordered the Passion Lychee Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and 25% sweetness. For their fruit teas, it's one size only and you can choose either green or black tea. The drink tasted strongly of passion fruit and with 25% sweetness, it was still extremely sweet! They don't offer the option of 0% sweetness. There was also a reasonable amount of lychee jelly, which paired nicely with the drink. Service was fast and our drinks came out quickly. I noticed a lot of customers ordering their smoothie drinks. Next time I'm in the area I'd like to order a smoothie or finally try their Mochi Soy Cream Cheese Milk Tea! read more
Fortune Tea is in the same complex as longs and safeway on pali - I believe they have parking in the back somewhere but i dont know how to get to it. I usually just run over and park at safeway. They opened pre-pandemic and i know about them ever since Asato's did their white rabbit collab with them. I actually haven't tried their boba drinks until now. I was late to the trend with the mochi milk tea - It was about $5 for the small and totally instagramable. The drink was not too bad but normally not what i usually order. They currently dont have dine in. There is a set up by their door and you order and pick up from there. They have a tent outside for some shade while you wait for your order. read more

I'm a fan of their Passion Fruit and Super Fruit Tea. I usually order it with 0% sweetness as it is already sweet and with no topping. It usually has a few slices of fruits, anything else would mean less tea. People behind the counter could be a little more friendly, though. Barely get a smile every time there. It isn't a big deal. It's not like they're "rude" or anything. It's a quiant lil store on the corner right after Pali Long's and Safeway. They have about five tables with chairs if you decide to chill and drink your beverage or while you wait. Prices are standard, anywhere from $6.-- and up, depending on what toppings you want. read more
I live up the street from Fortune Tea so of course I had to pay a visit. I got the cream cheese milk tea & my boyfriend got the mango sago. They were both good! Cream Cheese Milk Tea: I like the hint of cream cheese flavor; not at all overwhelming. Really enjoyed the mochi balls topping that come with this drink. Not many tea places offer that. Mango Sago: We loooove a fresh fruit smoothie. Mango tasted ripe. There's also grapefruit in this drink (I love grapefruit). We prefer sago as opposed to black tapioca pearls which again, not many tea places have this option. Overall, they are a little pricey but for the mochi balls & sago, we'll be returning. You can start a stamp card too (buy 10, get 1 free). read more

I'm very much a boba novice, so when one of my girls asked if I wanted a drink from here so I threw a dart at the menu and hit the Mango Sago with grapefruit smoothie. I really enjoyed it. It's less a tea drink and more of a fruity smoothie. She got it half sweet and it really hit the spot at lunch. i think I do, in fact, like boba in smoothies. I think it was relatively quick to pick up, they have an extensive menu, and the drink stayed cold and frozen through transport, so overall, a good experience. read more
Wanted to try a new spot and came here to try it out, they are in the corner of the same building as asato ice cream. There is a handful of parking stalls behind the building as well as a bunch of street parking right in front. They have a wide variety of drink types from milk tea boba, smoothies, to fruit teas. We came during covid and they don't let you into the store, they have a table set up right in the front of the door for you to order. We ordered the mochi soy cream with boba at 50% sweetness and a cloud strawberry and banana smoothie. The mochi is super soft and sticky and delicious when dipped inside the soy cream, it is also topped with kinako powder. They serve it with the top not fully attached and held with tape so you are able to get the mochi pieces before drinking, it was a little hard to put the cover on tightly after eating the mochi. The boba was nice, soft, and sweet. I really wanted the watermelon smoothie but they were out of watermelon The strawberry banana smoothie was thick, it kind of reminded me of Jamba juice but not as healthy tasting if that makes sense lol. I asked what the difference between cloud and yoyo, cloud is sweeter and yoyo is more sour. read more

So impressed with this place! Firstly, it does seem hidden, and im so happy I stumbled upon it while waiting around for an appt. The inside is small but still spacious and clean, comfortable seating areas. The prices so refreshingly affordable! (These days I'm finding my boba smoothies to reach $9!) i ordered a avocado cloud smoothie and Thai milk tea, and was skeptical about how it would taste because of the price.. but wow. The drinks were sooo delicious. They add some sort of white cream that looks like clouds into the smoothie, it's so cute and tastes yummy. Haven't seen that anywhere else. The consistency is perfection as it's super smooth and tastes soft in a way lol. (Idk, some other places have ice chunks!). Also, even though I ordered 50% sweetness, the drink still was FAR from bland or tasteless (again, like other places). The boba was soft and the right amount of sweet. Thai milk tea wasn't too milky, and also tasted perfect! In addition, The serving portions are generous. I even went back another day and got the avocado again with grass jelly. Still as heavenly! My new fav boba spot for sure. A definite rare gem. Thank you fortune tea! read more

It started with milk tea with crystal boba on Wednesday, followed by a matcha matcha smoothie with brown sugar boba on Friday, and now a Watermelon smoothie today. Don't let the exterior fool you, this little shop is cute and inviting. Great natural lighting and music make this a relaxing and ideal place for quick snaps with the kiddos. Everything tastes wonderful. Boba was cooked perfectly and the different drinks have been tasty. Sizes are generous. Will return next time I'm in the area. read more
Due to COVid restrictions, they are only offering takeout. Service is fast friendly. Parking is in the adjacent Longs/Safeway lot. The store is located on the first floor of the building at the corner of Kukui Street and Pali Highway. Their drinks are reasonably priced and tasty. I'm reluctant to write this review because Fortune Tea has my favorite milk tea! The black tea they use is delicious and has a floral quality that I love! I often get the cheese foam cap which adds creaminess and to me perfectly compliments the drink. It's my latest addiction and while they have many other drinks I keep ordering the milk tea. Service is quick and efficient. COVID safety measures are in place and you can only order drinks to go at a window. Metered parking is your only option but I guess if you go to Longs first then walk over, it may be ok Fortune Tea, I will most definitely be back! read more
