I tried the Matcha Latte Milk Tea ($6.99) with large boba (+$0.85), and honestly, I wouldn't get it again. You can adjust the sweetness level in 25% intervals, and I chose 25% sweetness, hoping the matcha flavor would come through more. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The matcha flavor was very light and didn't stand out--it kind of tasted like slightly flavored milk. That said, the boba itself was soft, chewy, and satisfying, and the portion size was generous, so there were some positives. In general, I prefer a stronger matcha flavor, so this drink didn't hit the mark for me. Overall, I'd rate the Matcha Latte MT drink in particular 1/5 stars. However, I wouldn't write off the whole menu based on this one drink. I've had their standard milk teas before, and those are consistently good--you really can't go wrong with them. Because of that, I'd bump my overall rating up by 2 stars, as this experience doesn't reflect the quality of their entire menu. The store itself has a cute, cozy ambiance, with counter seating lining the walls, making it a nice spot to relax for a bit. The baristas were quick and friendly, which was a plus. For parking, there are a few stalls available in the LikeLike Drive Inn square, but they fill up quickly, and it can be tricky to maneuver out of certain spots. This Teapresso is located next to Yogustory, at 745 Keeaumoku St. Suite 102. It's a small establishment with a colorful interior and limited stool type seating. Primarily for take out orders. The place is decorated with adorable cups and stuffed bubble tea mascots for sale. See pictures. The staff was helpful in answering questions I had about the variety of drinks they made. I ended up ordering a crème brûlée with boba milk tea. It cost $8.00. I ordered it half sweet and it was still on the sweet side for me. Love it when you can just drive up right beside the door for some tea, and that's what this location offers considering they're right in the midst of busy Ke'eaumoku in the complex formerly occupied by Like Like as the nostalgic sign still stands proud on the corner of Ke'eaumoku and Kanunu Street and that's where you know you're there just pull in the driveway and it will be on your left. I do love their quite roomy space which it didn't really expect though with all that room they don't have much seating but are happy to have few available, the decor is quite on the simple side having more of their logo cups on the back wall shelves to fill up the space as there's no wall art like you see at other location...though their cups here are quite different from most places as they have that venti cups we're familiar at other competitors, but it's their frosted can glass ware that's stunning on that clearly expresses some Hawaiian vibe with the floral print the other with a surfing bunny which I do love both...wondering how I'd look with a full glass of freshly brewed tea. Being a boba lover for years now, I've became a bit picky on what I like, plus there's so many options on Honolulu now I usually try a few places and then decide what I like the most. This Teapresso location is definitely one of my go-to! I like their milk tea and smoothies, which IMO are the one of best on the island. Also I tried out their secret menu before, like strawberry cheesecake smoothie and mango sticky rice smoothie too, oh so yummmmmm! Easy parking is a plus, good service and reasonable price. Since my last review, a couple more Teapresso locations have opened closer to my home, including one almost walking distance from me! For that reason and because many other small boba shops have opened up, I don't really go to this location anymore, even though I get my haircuts nearby. The small parking lot makes the trip more challenging. It's too bad that "less ice" also means less drink, and I've gotten used to other boba shops that truly highlight the tea flavor. I understand after a few years that the Hawaii market for boba is different than LA's San Gabriel Valley or NorCal's Bay Area (each with a larger Chinese American population) and I just have to accept that lol. Teapresso is like the Lollicup or Tapioca Express of Hawaii, and it's great that they're making boba more accessible to the West Side and Central Oahu. Teapresso is still great for offering a wide variety of tea leaves, tasty fruity iced teas, and their Teapresso Milk Tea. Since Teapresso is pretty much a small local chain, you know what you're ordering. Another plus is that Teapresso locations are open late night if you're craving boba that time of day! read more

This is a 3.5 review. Came to get our boba fix after Walmart run. Was a bit late and this was one of the shops that opened late and since we loved TEAPRESSO in Wahiawa, we figured we give this a shot. Walked in, had 3 young ladies working. Ordered 4 Smoothies with boba. I totally forgot to tell them the sweetness level I wanted and no one bothered to ask. I guess it's my fault. So not deducting for that. Anyway, I ordered 4 drinks, but no one got started on making them till I paid and got my receipt. I knew it would be a long wait since it's 4 smoothies. But it did take longer than expected. I walked out and waited by my car and when I got back it still wasn't ready or maybe it was and it was just sitting on counter? A few mins later, my order was ready and 3 of the 4 smoothies were not really smoothies as I guess from the wait it had melted. When I got to the car my husband asked if it was a smoothie cause it seemed watery. So I'm not sure if it was from it being on the counter for a bit long. Anyway, deducted 1.5 stars for quality of the drink and for service + price. I spent $38 for 4 drinks which I thought was pricy for boba smoothies. $0.85 for boba is pretty hefty. Don't know if I'll be back again as I have never ever spent that much on 4 smoothies with boba in my life. I just bought 4 the other day from another boba shop and I spent $27 for the same size and same drinks. Being lactose intolerant sucks since I cant have milk tea but they have great tea options and creative tasting ones too! I got a jasmine lavender tea with boba, 25% sweetness and it was perfect! It gave me the right pick me up for the afternoon to push through the rest of my work day! It can get surprisingly busy here so if you notice a few people inside, be prepared to wait! Second location I've been to since I've been on the island. I didn't care for the boba and the taste of the tea was bland. I ordered the earl grey milk tea. The girl who helped me was nice tho and they had plastic straws! So those were the only two things I liked about this place. Oh and I like how teaspresso brews their own tea fresh! No powders. Although I did see her put a scoop of powder in my drink but not sure what that was. Maybe non dairy powdered creamer? There were 3 drinks for special menu. My order was borahae latte which was ube with boba. The decorations was awesome, lots of photos, army bombs, and BTS members figurines. I was just walking around when i noticed this little shop. I haven't been on the island for long so I was so excited to support a small buisness compared to all the main tourists spots. It was a little cramped and the vibes were a bit off. Like I was being a bother just for walking in. While they one who took my order was pleasant, another worker with straight hair completely messed up my Boba order. She was listening to music with one of those little earpods, completely unprofessional, and was even rude when I said something about the drink. My family and I took the drive from Ewa Beach last week, since my daughter had reservations for the BTS 8 Year Anniversary. We made our journey down to Teapresso on Keeaumoku an hour before the event started, as parking is always a headache for most places in town. As expected, there were only a few stalls in the little shopping plaza, but luckily we scored one AND we were first in line!! The event had a decent turn out (from what we saw during the time we were there), and the line was kept controlled by their friendly staff. 5 stars for the staff!!! Extra friendly and welcoming of all us BTS Fanatics. I can imagine it may be sort of annoying working a small event of this sort, but they seemed to all be enjoying themselves (minus one person who took our drink order- I think she needed a dose of J-Hope lol). The drinks were of average price, super cute and picture worthy! Because I'm the boss of the house, I was able to sample a little sip from each. Honestly I'm not sure why I've patronized this place as often as I have. (Only four times apparently haha but...) Probably coz I try to spread the "support local and support small" sentiment across as many businesses as I can during this COVID situation. This spot seems quite popular as it's almost always busy when we stop by. The atmosphere is very focused (I've noticed even the customers waiting for their drinks are really quiet.) That makes me feel very conscious of how much time I take when I'm ordering because their menu is quite varied and I'm not familiar with the options. The drinks are good but perhaps not memorable otherwise I'd have discovered and would remember which drink(s) I like, and not take so long deciding? It's a conundrum. He likes to order random things on the menu just to say I tried that but if not he just copy my order! Located by the now closed likelike drive inn and few parking. The service here are sometimes good, sometimes it's rude. So I never know what to expect. The taste of drinks also vary, sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it taste watery. Yaaas! Stan the owner is one of the best people who really knows to communicate. Crystal clear instructions and I feel more grateful. That feeling when the owner wholeheartedly acknowledged the winner & you can tell that it's sincerely handled. This business deserve more patronage! I'm sure I will be too. After all Teapresso Bar is my fave teahouse in this island as I'm a bit used to their menu. Customer service is good. By far they made our order faster than we expected. Thank goodness! They only got two staffs working at that time & they're a bit busy too. I know that they're doing the best they could & in times like this, we should hold on together & help one another. While in town, I decided to look up the closest Teapresso location to me and this one popped up. Located across the street from Walmart, in the same parking lot as Wholesale Unlimited. Since the pendemic, other businesses in the center have closed so I'm sure that's why more parking stalls are available. Otherwise, I doubt the parking situation would be favorable. I specifically wanted to visit Teapresso to check out the Boba popsicle. It was worth the visit! I don't know what the price was but I'd gladly have someone buy me that again lol. It reminded me of the one time I failed at Boba. I didn't properly wait for the water to boil and just threw in boba only for it to boil into mush sludge. If I screwed that up again, next time I could mix it with milk & sugar and turn it into a frozen treat! Along with the pop, we ordered two of our favorite drinks. His is normally a chocolate drink, and mine is almond MT. Since they were out of their regular crystal Boba, the cashier suggested the Sakura crystal. I'm hooked! I definitely love floral flavors especially paired with teas, so that was right on par. At the front they are advertising sales of masks, which is nice at a time like this. I also noticed they have their own cup holder. As Ive always said, I'm such a sucker for branded, labeled or personalized items. If I hadn't already been going crazy making my own, I would've purchased one... I'm actually bummed I'm not able to make use of my reusable cup right now, but I fully understand why not. Wanted to grab boba right after having brunch at Yogurstory. I opted out of coffee there because I wanted to get my caffeine fix here...well that was a mistake. I ordered their Creme brûlée drink with boba and it was really overwhelmingly sweet. All I tasted was the sugar and it was getting stuck in my teeth. The boba was overly chewy as well and the milk tea itself was bland...maybe that's why the Creme brûlée topping is so sweet? Not the boba I was craving. Lol read more

Late night boba in Honolulu... Milk tea seems to be a good replacement for dessert. It feels more refreshing and lighter than a slice of cake or an ice cream, right? So, after dinner, Anthony, Angel, and I searched for a boba place. Taste Tea on Kapiolani has closed its business. Tea Boss down the street on Kapiolani was closed, too. I Yelped Tea Boss at home and discovered that all three locations of Tea Boss have gone out of business! After two strikes, we we getting worried. Luckily, Anthony and Angel knew that this Teapresso Bar is located right next to Likelike Drive In and shares the same free parking lot! Yay! We found a space and walked right in before they closed at 10pm on a Thursday night. Angel had a BOGO (buy one, get one free) coupon from the Five Stars program. Anthony and I got the same exact drinks: 50 percent sweet coconut milk tea with small boba (they ran out of regular sized boba) and pudding. Yum! There are a couple of Teapresso locations in this area but I chose this one because this location opened at 7am and the other one opens at 10am. I needed to get some work in early in the morning and needed to find a place with coffee and free wifi so this place fit the bill. They serve both coffee and tea as well as boba. I ordered the iced latte ($3.59) which was good. They have a long table against the storefront window where you can work. They don't have a ton of outlets through the long table but they do have a couple round tables. Overall there aren't a ton of places to sit here but luckily I was the only one there. Another thing I liked was the music that they were playing. It gave a lot of chill vibes and added a nice touch to a chill atmosphere. If you're looking for the restroom they don't have one in the store but if you ask the employees they will give you a key where you can use in the restrooms in the second floor. Stopped by here on the way to my nail appointment. I got a birthday BOGO offer by email(signed in "five star"system). There are limited parking space at the same complex but luckily I got a street parking spot just front of their location. Inside the store is very cozy but nice relaxing atmosphere. There are table and counter seat. I ordered Assam milk tea with mix boba, 25% sweet. It was good! I and my nail stylist enjoyed them. Oh, my favorite thing this place is they sell reusable straw(regular and for boba, both size) and washing blush! I already have @ihavemystraw's reusable regular size straw but I didn't have for boba tea one. So I bought straws for boba this time. They have stainless silver and rainbow, 2colors.
