Then, unexpectedly, someone other than our great waitress came to the table and told us we needed to leave because there was a reservation for our table at 7:30. This was shocking and incredibly awkward since there were several open tables including the one next to us that was the exact same size as ours. We were not informed of any time limit when seated, and we had been explicitly told earlier that reservations were not required. Being asked to leave after spending that much money--while still sitting and talking--felt rude and unprofessional. What made it worse: we drove by about 30 minutes later (around 8:00 PM), and the table was empty. No one was seated there. Great food does not excuse poor hospitality. If there are time limits or reservations, customers need to be told up front, not pressured out mid-evening after a premium-priced meal. It could have been good. But it was not. First of all, I never got chicken in the dish. The mushrooms were diced and very few in the dish. The only thing they got right was the tomatoes.
