I recommend this place to EVERYONE hands down!! My computer was running very slow so I figured I had a virus. I called around and instantly people were quoting me without knowing exactly what was wrong with my computer. I called Hi-Tek and spoke to Sergio. Sergio was awesome from the minute he answered the phone. He was polite and professional. When I told Sergio what was wrong with my computer he said Hi-Tek does a free diagnosis and it takes about 48 hours. After the diagnosis they would call me to see if I wanted to proceed with the services. I asked if it was a virus how much would it cost, the cost was less than what I had been quoted. I dropped my computer off and Sergio helped me. I filled out paperwork. Literally 48 hours later I received a call from Sergio. Again he was nice, professional and answered all my questions. I felt confident in the responses and information he gave me. I agreed to proceed with the service and I received a call 24 hours later that my computer was completed. My computer is brand new again! Runs fast, and much better than before. I would definitely bring any computer or electronic device back here. Great customer service, not so expensive, professionalism and promptness. Win, win situation! If you are having doubts lose them I guarantee you will be very happy in the end! read more

I recently found use for my 7 year old MacBook laptop during this pandemic due to my work from home status. The problem was that it had outdated software and ran annoyingly slow. Sergio from Hi-Tek Solutions really made me feel at ease when he identified the problem and gave me a clear timetable letting me know when it would be ready. Now it runs great and I'm able to download apps again! Thanks Sergio and the Hi-Tek Crew! read more

Took it to Hi-Tek Solitions and they are very nice and didn't make me feel like they were there to just take money but to actually help me out with my computer decision. The technician Sergio worked on my computer for hours until he figured out the issue. Sergio fixed the printing issue. He was patient and professional at all times. He never gave up and kept us informed the entire time. He called us multiple times and keep in contact with us throughout the process. Sergio did a great job taking care of my MacBook Pro- I thought I needed parts replaced but him and his team did a thorough check and said I just needed a deep clean. It not only saved me time and money but I know how reliable and trustworthy they are! Thanks so much, I'll be recommending you to my friends! read more

Will never go here again. I basically have to allow them to fix my computer or buy a new one. It would be nice if they could have explained to me that because of my parts, the reassembly would render my computer useless. They wanted to give me back my computer and told me I couldn't open it. If I can't open my computer why would I need it. The only option would allow them to fix a 4 year old computer for more than what's its worth. If I got the computer fixed with all that was offered I would be looking at over $350 for an old computer. Ridiculous read more

I was typing a letter on my laptop, chatting on the cell and drinking water. I spilled some water on my keyboard. After a couple of minutes a lot of my keys stop working. I checked to see if the keys were working the next morning, maybe it just needed to dry out, but they were still down. I looked on Yelp for reasonable priced computer repair shops and found Hi-Tek Solutions; this company has high satisfying ratings. My Husband calls and spoke with Edgar and told him what the situation was. Right there and then, just on that one phone call, Edgar knew what the problem was. My Husband texted him the model of the computer and he replied right away with information on how he could repair my laptop. We liked Edgar's feedback so we dropped off the laptop that same night. We loved the service, we loved how Edgar is very flexible in communicating with us (text, e-mail, phone, etc.) and we just love how knowledgeable he is with computers. My laptop was repaired in 4 days because the part needed to be ordered. On top of repairing my laptop he added a cleaning software at no charge. I am happy to have my laptop with new keys LOL. read more

Edgar saved my life!!! About 2 years ago, my MacBook froze. Idk how or why. It would turn on but would stay stuck at the apple screen. I was bummed because I had pictures in there that I was scared to lose. I immediately made an appointment at the Apple Store in Cerritos. I go in and the guy told me I was pretty much screwed and that I needed to reset the entire thing and all my data would be erased. I almost started crying. My boyfriend got upset and told me we were going somewhere else. Of course being the drama queen that I am, I was like, "This is it, it's over, adios pictures!" In the car on the way home from the Cerritos Mall, my bf looked up computer repair shops and Edgar came up. He called Edgar and explained everything and Edgar told him to bring it over. So we did. He kept my laptop and told my bf he would call him when he figured out the problem. He called the next day and said I just needed to buy a flash drive so he could upload all my pictures. I couldn't believe it! My heart stopped. We ran to buy the flash drive and took it to him and guess what? ALL MY PICTURES ARE SAFE!!!! I couldn't believe it. Especially bc Apple had just told me there was nothing I could do. I cannot thank Edgar enough. He saved me. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. read more

My macbook pro was having battery issues so I went to the apple store to see if they could fix it. They told me I needed a battery replacement and since I didn't have apple care it would cost $200+. Being a broke college student at the time, I couldn't afford it & decided to find another place. I called Hi-Tek Solutions and they were able to help me over the phone and give me a quote. They fixed it quickly and for an affordable price! This was back in 2017 and I haven't had any battery issues since. They even gave me a courtesy call over a year and a half later to follow up to see how everything was working. I recommend coming here if you have any computer issues! read more

Glad I checked Yelp when choosing a location to have my laptop repaired, the laptop felt wobbly when I opened the screen to use the computer. What sealed the deal for me were the awesome reviews I read over. I live about 3 miles from the location so I drove out there, I had to call once I parked because I could not find the location-- TIP: Unit 2 is some sort of legal office, Hi-Tek is located in the same suite but in a small office within that office. Although there is a decal on the window that reads "Hi-Tek Solutions" it's rather easy to miss. In any case, I walked in to Edgar's office and he was super nice from the get go. I explained my problem, based on his experience and my specific concern he told me it would be one of two things but that to confirm he would need to open up the entire laptop, due to a time crunch type of situation I had to come back the next day. The following day I left my computer with him and a few hours later he called to give me an update-- a part needed to be replaced. He answered all the questions I had and gave me an ETA on the completion for the repair as well as the cost for the repair. Most importantly, he gave me options on part he could use to complete the repair; refurbished parts, new parts, etc and the financial cost associated with each-- I chose to go with a new part and he went ahead and ordered it. What made the biggest difference for me is that Edgar did his best to accommodate me every step of the way. I mentioned that I use my laptop for school and since it made no sense picking up the laptop before repairs were completed he kindly asked if I needed anything from my computer to complete any assignments and on the day repairs were to be completed he kept me posted on what time I could pick it up. I was truly impressed at the level of professionalism conveyed by Edgar, and I really thank him for not pointing out that I was not best at returning his calls. I seriously recommend Edgar/ Hi-Tek, my laptop is back to normal and I couldn't be happier = ) read more

Found this shop on yelp after replacing my power supply that went south on me and the PC still wouldn't fire up. Edgar the owner was very helpful on the phone unlike other shops that wont give you any advise on what to do and tell you just bring it in for an estimate. So I felt very comfortable with his confidence and knowledge I decided to try him out. Wow ! This is the kind of customer service that is getting harder and harder to find. He was extremely quick at diagnosing the problem and calling me back and price was less than I expected including the parts and labor. Now my PC is back up and running, I will definitely recomended Edgar and his staff. Keep up the great service. read more
