The hard drive of my Apogee built tower gave up after 10 years. I had many tens if not hundreds of thousands of photos, documents, and music, essentially my life. Jer, the head of Apogee, assured me he would do his best to recover as much data as possible and upgrade the system to Windows 11. An extremely high percent of the data recovered and the merge to Windows 11 was seamless. In the past I have brought a generic and 2 Dell PCs for various repairs and upgrades to Jer. I am one very happy and returning, customer. read more

These guys are great! They helped me with a laptop repair that other guys took weeks to solve, They fixed it in an afternoon. Super easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! read more

I had to transfer from one laptop to a new laptop but had no clue how to do it. I was advised to make an appointment to see Jeremiah at Apogee. Called him, got right in, and not only did I return my brand new laptop back through his advisement, I decided to purchase a Dell laptop from him at a much better price. He will go over everything you need to know, answer every question, and possibly educate you on the mass of information he has about technology. I highly recommend this business for anything technology based! read more

I called and received a free phone consultation. They answered my call promptly and quickly assessed my issue, and although they weren't able to provide the specific service I needed, they kindly referred me to a nearby business that could help. I Really appreciated their honesty and willingness to point me in the right direction. read more

They didn't have what I needed, but they helped me out with where to find it and what to say or look for free consultation

I had an older computer from over ten years ago. The system was built and always ran well. Unfortunately as well as it was built, it was missing the critical component(s) necessary to upgrade to Windows 11. Rather than piece parts together, Jeremiah and his colleague Lucky were able to assist me building a computer that met my needs and future use. Jeremiah and his colleagues provide a top-tier computer service that may appear to be overwhelming to a novice, yet they took their time to ensure i understood what to expect. Definitely would recommend to others to contact Apogee and see if they can be of service to your needs if you are looking for a personal approach over big brand/big box store computer tech centers. read more

I left my pc tower here and I'm very concerned. They work out of a garage (not a big deal) but the fact being their listed number is disconnected and I don't have a way to contact them is very nerve-wracking. I want to pick up my things but there's no way without an appointment. No one is home. I have emailed them and I am waiting for a reply. Jer was very polite but I am not a fan of the fact there is no transparency in communication. read more

This guy ( Jeremiah ) is rude and will hang up on you. I went back and forth with him over 3 times and tried to make an appointment to buy a used Dell laptop with him ( from his suggestion ) and admitted I was a computer novice. He appears very moody and does not like to explain things. I would avoid, but that was just my experience. read more

My old setup is nvidia 1080 founders edition and Antec Torque Aluminum Case, last me for many years, but one day my pc just won't turn on, after few days, it turned on okey, but all RGB fans won't work, after that, my PC randomly shutting off, I have no choice, I need reliable computer, searched on Yelp, found this place close to my home with good reviews, I made phone calls and talked to Jeremiah. He told me to bring my PC to him, so he can take a look. Drove to his place and told him I am on budget, he tested my PC, working smoothly, just those RGB fans doesn't work. He asked my budget and told me he will surprise me with his build. what u think about how this turn out? read more

FRAUD!! FRAUD!!! FRAUD!! I am almost 100% positive that these good reviews are paid FAKE reviews. I brought my laptop to this company and did not hear back from them for weeks. They are unprofessional and do not communicate at all. They work out of a home and when I stopped by for an update, no one would answer the door. When I finally got a call, they gave me dumb excuses and still hadn't fixed my laptop. I highly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to waste your time and money. It's been 3 months and I still don't have my laptop. They force you to pay with Zelle because you can't dispute Zelle payments. They made false promises, stole my laptop, and took my money! read more

Let me tell you Jeramiah and his crew at Apogee are real life savers! I was in serious trouble when my biz computer displayed the terrible blue screen of death. Apogee was able to help me out and in a very short period of time I was up and running again. Jeramiah even took the time to walk me through the new set up after I got the computer home. Customer service at Apogee is excellent! read more

FYI the business manager replied to my post several years ago stating I never came in and my review is fake. I can assure you all it is not. That's a pretty dishonest thing to do, so add lack of credibility and accountability to your list of flaws. I paid $160 for this business to hold my laptop for several weeks and lose a stick of ram. After I replaced the ram, my friend formatted and installed an ssd with new windows os. This laptop works flawlessly to this day. My step son uses it for light gaming minecraft/roblox as well as chatting with his friends on discord and watching YouTube vids. read more

I took my laptop to Jer on Friday 4/4 and got it back that same day, just a few hours later. His team did an excellent job restoring my computer that I had spent weeks trying to repair. I got the infamous blue screen and nothing worked. It is great writing this review on that very laptop now!!! I have updated software and it works like new! Jer is professional, efficient, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. It was a very pleasant experience. Jer and his crew are my new go to for anything related to computers! read more

Jeramiah and Bea went above and beyond to resolve the issue I was having with my Surface Book 3. It was not recognizing the built-in NVIDIA GeForce1650 graphics card. They were able to fix the issue remotely within an hour and a half. On top of excellent, communicative service, Jeramiah was also kind enough to extended a student discount as well as a first-time customer discount. I will be referring their services to all of my professors and peers in the Design field at CSULB. read more

This is what remains of my old workhorse. I loved this laptop, but after good efforts spent trying to resurrect it, the Apogee wizards determined that the motherboard was going bad. The machine (sadly) wasn't salvageable from a cost perspective. They've worked on this laptop before with stellar results so I was sad to let it go. When I retrieved my hard drive yesterday, they didn't charge me at all, even thought they performed troubleshooting, ordered parts, reassembled everything, etc. They even agreed to e-waste the components for me! Apogee is the best, and I love them for their friendly service and honest feedback. Matthew and Jeremiah are so friendly and helpful! I am grateful that the shop is open during shelter-in-place times, and continue to help people. They have a lifetime customer in me. This isn't the first time I've been, and definitely not the last! read more

The service was done quick with incredibly fair prices. Everything was explained to me leaving no confusion. Would recommend to anyone.

Not gonna lie don't go here unless you know a lot about computers! They will make sure that you get scammed out of every penny if you don't know your shit about your device, they lied to me about the repairs and said I needed to replace things when I definitely did not. They were naming the parts in my pc and lying about certain things which I let them do so I could write this review, they were gonna charge me a fortune for dogshit, don't recommend unlesssss you know the prices of what you need fixed! read more

Great guys in there. My pc was facing problems and Jeremiah helped me get my pc running again. Didn't charge me a dime for a diagnostics. Good vibes in there totally recommend. read more

My PC was running slow, and within seconds he could figure out what was wrong. THis is what they told me: "if you can leave us a high rating on yelp" ...NOPE, i'm going to give them a 1 star, and they cannot do anything about that, and here is why... I went in here, because I had a blinking screen, and they had my laptop for maybe about two weeks. After paying 190, they still did not fix it... And on top of that, they asked me to give them a high rating on yelp.... sorry not sorry for the 1 star review..... read more

Fraught with stress that my 2nd drive disappeared at tax time. Matt did a quick check and told me the drive just died and had several solutions to consider. As a older machine I appreciated his candor where by he took out a post-it and provided me with new drive information -- All of this as a no charge courtesy. I can tell this is a go-to shop for your computer and website needs. Using his advise I'm up n running ready for Uncle Sam! read more

Brought my PC in for issues with the OS and, what I thought was driver issues. The technician went above and beyond to get everything resolved; offered me water and a comfy chair while he went over and resolved all the issues with it. Also gave it a top notch cleaning - it sat in the same corner for years, so yeah it was in need of a cleaning. Swapped out the hard drive and power supply all at a fantastic price! Was professional and made sure everything was up and running by their standards. Highly recommend. read more

My laptop was having some strange issues after updating from win 7 to 8 then finally to 10. One day it just stopped working. I took it over to Apogee and was able to get the laptop up and running again with a fresh install of windows 10 that comes with Microsoft office and a new power adaptor. Free diagnosis and they give you your options without being pushy. I would recommend Apogee to anybody. They are also called Error Code FYI. read more

I had a decent running PC for about 2 years and built it myself as my first PC ever. Was unaware of the maintenance needed to upkeep my PC and had a terrible motherboard installed initially due to my lack of knowledge on building these things. After those 2 years, my PC started crashing, nothing was working properly, and definitely contemplated buying a whole new system for about $2000. Brought my PC over to Apogee about a week ago and walked out with an awesome new motherboard, a dust-free system, and a few other new components they suggested to have my PC run at its maximum potential. Definitely saved me about $1,500. They handled, installed, and upgraded everything I needed for a great price. read more

I can't say enough about this place! I'm doing this a second time as I've posted on Google review as well. Don't let the size of this establishment fool you. THEY ARE EXCELLENT IN getting whatever you need computer wise done and in a small amount of time. They will never up-sale you . Jare is very honest ,great to talk to and and has a wealth of knowledge on computers. He got me in and out and saved my money due to me buying a hard drive and I didnt even need it He also honors Vets with discounts . SO if you have an issue . don't hesitate to take your computer to him. Also note. someone mentioned He ask for a review. I have come to this computer shop a few times. It is a mom and pop shop so the hours of operation are not always accurate. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. He is very willing to work with your budget and assist where he can. I had a horrible experience with fixing a laptop which put me out almost $200 because of Ebay. This is not his fault and he did say to chalk up the laptop up as a lost but other influences made me go through with getting the lap top fix. I would recommend if you are getting any large jobs done to avoid as much as possible ordering your parts from Ebay. read more

Company has two names did review for both. Came in with grandsons laptop that was out of storage. Justin was very helpful guiding me through what was need as I waited. We had also planned on getting our grandson a gaming computer for Christmas. Well he was really lucky Jeremiah gave us a better price if we did both the repair and purchase tower. Justin did a great job. Very pleased with product service and quality. We are not very PC savvy and had to call a couple times for help. Have had great aftercare service. I highly recommend and extra kudos to Justin for his patience. read more

Oh man! These guys are amazing. They work quick and do their job for a very fair price. The shop is hidden and a bit out of sight but these guys know what they are doing. We brought in a very old computer with some documents that needed to be retrieved. Staff at Apogee did all that and more. We got our documents and were out the door in under an hour! Geek Squad didn't even know if they could retrieve a single thing AND they estimated at least a full week just to try. Killer prices and hard working staff make this shop well worth the 5 star rating! God bless :) read more
