If there were 10 stars there wouldn't be enough to rate Frank the owner of this business. I got his name from a very satisfied customer who is a friend of mine. I talked briefly with Frank over the phone. I wasn't at home in front of my computer at that time so we arranged for him to call me the next morning. He called, gave me specific directions which were no harder than "right click here, left click there" and like magic my computer was operable in 5 minutes. My friend who recommended Frank called him a ROCK STAR, I have him listed in my phone as WIZARD! Wow, this kind, patient, genius is fantastic! I am sorry but I can't recommend Frank for Home Theater systems. Perhaps he isn't that familiar with AV/Home Theater? He should have told us if he didn't know how to do the job, but here is what happened: He came over, looked over our problem, my husband explained that we had no idea how to fix the problem. None. We are clueless when it comes to these things. My husband also told him that someone else set it all up for us. (Note: The person who set up our home theater system is highly knowledgeable and our work is really too small for him but he did us a favor basically and then he was gone - onto bigger jobs). Frank gave my husband a quote via email (I think). It was quite high but we thought since he said he'd have to un-do everything and start from scratch that we better do that in case we had issues in the future and we could learn this time how to fix it or to call Frank back out. The morning he came to do the job he asked my husband a bunch of questions about the system. My husband told him that he didn't know the answers. We don't, that's why we have to hire people. Again, someone else set it up and did not leave instructions. Meanwhile, my husband had to take work calls. I was in another room. When we both went to check on Frank, HE WAS GONE. No goodbye, no kiss my ass, no nothing. Just left. My husband thought perhaps he left to go get something for the job but nope, he didn't, he just walked out without a word. We know this because my husband got him on the phone and he said he wasn't going to do the job but didn't say why. The right thing to do is say "I can't do it", "I don't like you", whatever. Just so rude to leave. This is the problem I have. I understand if he was upset or couldn't do the job but no communication is so unprofessional. Maybe Frank is good at IT. I don't know but the review I just wrote is exactly what happened. The one star is for rudeness and unprofessionalism. Hope this helps someone else when considering hiring him for Home Theater work. read more

Recently my wife's laptop crashed. I spent a full day troubleshooting and could not get a reasonable conclusion. I even worked with Asus tech support and all they could do is ask for $85 up front then I would have to ship it out. Then there would be an additional cost once they can figure it out. The turn around time could be 2 to 3 weeks before I get it back. Well that wouldn't do as my wife needs it up and running now. I found Frank through maps and I am so glad as he knew what the issue was as we spoke over the phone. The awesome thing was that he was only five minutes away. I bought a new M.2 SSD drive and by the next day laptop was fixed. He charged me $200 for everything including saving all my wife's critical files from the old drive. Asus wouldn't have done that. Frank was very patient, kind, and considerate towards my dilemma and truly lifted the stress off my back. Great job! read more

We found Frank here, on Yelp, and he saved the day. We were at our wit's end with our existing office wi-fi network and had tried to replace that with an identical system but things just weren't working out. Called Frank and he understood the issue right away, and quoted us on the phone. 3 hours later he was here, installing a new system that is an upgrade to what we had, and everything works great! So, so grateful! read more

I found Frank here on Yelp while searching for a technology professional that could properly diagnose a variety of problems plaguing my wife's business computer. I allowed Frank to remote in and he quickly diagnosed the issues, in short, the issues she was dealing with were not generally fixable so the decision was made to buy her a new computer. As luck would have it Frank also builds custom computers built to the specific needs of his clients. But, never having purchased a computer from a non-big box store (think Best Buy), I didn't hire Frank immediately and choose to look around at the cost of a replacement machine given the specific recommendations Frank told me she needed (at the big box store). Well, after taking a look at what was out there that fit the specifications Frank recommended, I made the decision to go with Frank and he was hired. Not only did Frank build an amazing machine that far exceeded our expectations, the mouse/keyboard selection was better than expected as was the monitor. And to top it all off, Frank transferred all the data from the old computer into the new computer and then delivered the new system to my wife's office, set it up and then patiently gave her a live demonstration of the new device to make sure she was totally comfortable with everything. In conclusion, whatever your I.T. needs are, give Frank a call and if you end up hiring him, you'll not be disappointed. read more

On any given day I find many legitimate professional computer techs do a pretty good job and know the work. Yet, I'd rate many at three. My reason is, when one sets themselves up as a professional, the basic standards of performance at the very least are accurate estimates, a reasonable statement of exceptions should something more in the chain occur. Timely work, and the patience to firmly yet warmly handle a freaked out client who thinks the world is ending being off line for a few hours. That may sound funny, but true, and we all know that one. Kidding aside, the basic standard of all elements must be factory level or close. If not, what is the point? The higher numbers of 4 or 5 represent the exceptional, the individual skill and abilities of the tech, which often cannot be quantified. I had a massive crash, and I took my machine into a professional shop. The fix was surface level and i had some serious problems post the fix. My confidence was low on the shop's technical expertise to produce solid work. Looking for an other tech in the area, I stumbled across the 'IT Professionals..' The work environment was absolutely clean. The initial estimate was very reasonable. When a secondary issue arose, I did not say, but it had been in my thoughts that it may occur. They added it in and still the estimate was reasonable. When finished, the work was excellent and the bill was actually less than I thought it would be I had quite a few questions about function, as I am new to system ten. I think my questions may have seemed endless, but the individual who handled my issue, Frank, was patient, and altogether I received more value then I thought I'd ever get walking into a tech shop for the first time, meeting a man whom I did not know, or ever met previously or knew anyone who knew him. So no inside track I walked in cold. This man takes great pride in his work, and I feel he legitimately has earned a technical and over all service review of 5. I cannot imagine many places who would make such an effort as Frank did to get my unit back to me running well., read more

I finally got around to raising the praise for The IT Professionals. I can not say enough. This is what happened. I took my computer to another computer repair business. In order to save the data on my sick computer the data was put on an external drive. They installed a new hard drive, I think (smile) and I was given directions on how to open the documents and transfer to the new hard drive. I followed the directions as best I could, but I was not able to recognize any line items and was afraid to proceed. I picked up the phone and called The IT Professionals. I explained my problem to Frank. Frank allowed that he was on his was to a business call. But, that I should follow some directions he was giving me, and that he would call contact me in a few hours. I asked what he would charge me and he said he was just going to walk me through and that didn't warrant a charge. True to his word Frank called me took ask a few questions, walked me through, stayed on the phone with me to make sure all was well. Again, I offered to pay. There was no charge. Frank came over the next day and set up a new Nest Mesh system to integrate with my current slow Spectrum wifi. An hour is all it took to set up a modem and three nodes (purchased at Costco) which now give me faster wifi speeds and covers my house, a game room attached to a garage, and a guest house, where I had very limited coverage (and no coverage at all towards the back of the property) to make sure my Ring cameras all capture video perfectly now. read more
