I called in a few times to check on the status of the laptop. Jose was very understanding and informed me the part would take a few days to arrive. Once the part arrived a few days later in the afternoon, Jose updated me the next morning that the laptop was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, the computer was making a weird sound coming from the fan when the laptop was started up. I figured it was probably just dirty. The camera was also not working. I called Jose to inform him, and he said to bring it in so he can take care of it for me. I dropped it off that afternoon so he could check it out. Turns out the fan was dirty (he gave it a good cleaning) and the laptop just need some software updates. Since then the laptop has run very smoothly with absolutely no issues. A big thank you to X-PCzone for the excellent service and professionalism

I never leave bad reviews but this place actually pushed me to the point where I had to put out a…read morewarning & hope that people see this. I left my laptop there for THREE weeks with no communication on their end, no updates, & I got my laptop back MORE broken than before where I can't even turn it on. I left it with an issue where it wasn't properly charging with the laptop charger but I was able to charge it with the USB C port at least. After me having constantly having to check in & them giving me excuses about "We ordered a part, it'll be here next week", "That part didn't work actually, I'm still testing things", & then going on to Week 3 & finding the issue wasn't even found yet & so I said I'd like to just take it back then. Since it was all pulled apart he said I could get it the next day. I come the next day & now I'm told the USB C charging port, which was NOT broken before is now broken. So now I have no way to turn on the laptop. The main charging port at least sometimes I could wiggle it a bit & get a charge if it was set in a certain position. Now? Broken completely. No charge for both ports when only one was semi broken before. The most frustrating thing on top of him breaking both ports is he has the audacity to tell me "It was more complicated than I thought but I found the chip I can put in & it would take TWO more weeks for the part to get here" I told him I just wanted my laptop back & left. Please, avoid this business. I fell into the trap of reading some decent reviews but believe me when I say that I was patient & understanding with everything & I didn't mind all the run around & waiting until it was apparent that they didn't know how to fix it & ended up breaking it more.

I spent a couple weeks gathering all the components I've been eyeing and made the pilgrimage down to Micro Center (in Tustin) to take advantage of a great MOBO/Proc/RAM bundle. The last time I built a PC was in 2008 and at this point in my life, I just wanted an expert to help me get everything running and optimized. Gar was that expert. This guy knows his stuff and I couldn't be happier with my (first) experience at Helix. He runs the shop by himself and is clearly a lifelong PC enthusiast. It was really cool to see all his customers more 'aesthetic' builds that were in progress. I'm old so I wanted something with as little RGB as possible (haha). He even has a mini museum of PC components from decades past on display which really sent me down a VERY nerdy memory lane. He put together a 9800X3D / 5080 air cooled monster and everything runs perfectly. He optimized Win11 and walked me through everything he did when I picked up the machine. I would consider his shop a unicorn in 2026. Physical location. Passionate business owner who is offering top quality service in a niche industry. Fair prices.

The dead computer was back up and running within minutes of my arrival. It was amazing. Dell had told me that the desktop could not be repaired for a reasonable price and that I needed to buy a new one. It turned out that a Dell bios upgrade had gone bad and literally burned up the two video cards in the PC. Martin had it booted and running before Cody and I were even done talking. The clone job was to take a couple of days to get the new SSD drive and clone it. In fact, Cody called the next morning and said it was done and ready to be picked up. This company is absolutely amazing. Their service goes beyond all expectations. And the price they charged was most reasonable. I highly recommend them. They are network specialists too.
