They change the battery and my keyboard stops working. They said they are going to need to swap it out. I said ok. But I need my laptop on certain days because this is my work laptop. They clone the computer but now are telling me that the wifi isn't going to work on the new laptop. I said ok. I had been experiencing thermal issues with my new i7-14700K build and decided to bring it to HeliX…read morePC after seeing all the positive reviews. Garnik, the owner, exceeded every expectation. I dropped off my PC at 10 AM and he had it completely diagnosed and fixed by 3:30 PM - same day service when most shops would have kept it for days. But what really impressed me was how Garnik actually took the time to explain everything instead of just doing the work and handing it back. He didn't just slap on new thermal paste and call it done. He properly reapplied the paste, then noticed my fan configuration was all wrong and moved everything to the correct CPU pump headers and fan headers. He walked me through exactly what was causing the thermal problems and how he fixed them, then stress tested the whole system right in front of me so I could see it was running properly. Garnik was super knowledgeable, friendly, and got everything done way faster than I expected. It's honestly rare to find someone who knows their stuff this well and actually takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your build. About a week and a half later I finally got all components working only to run into Windows installation issues. I emailed the business at midnight, after long hours of trying to figure out why my SSD wasn't being recognized. I got a response first thing in the morning, I brought it in at 10:30 and he had it done by 4:30 same day, even though he said he wasn't sure he could get it done til the next business day. Also as someone who just has a casual knowledge of all this stuff, I was kind of afraid of being judged for my choices and abilities if I brought it in somewhere, but Garnik was SUPER nice and friendly, and even though my issue ended up being a return fraud SSD situation, he fixed up my wiring, installed windows, and basically got my whole rig into working shape, which was such a relief after struggling for so long. He even gave me an adapter for my old DVI port cintiq monitor. Along with lots of helpful advice. Even though I hope I don't run into issues like this any time soon, I'm a customer for life! (I'll add a photo once I'm satisfied with my RGB color choices haha)

The dead computer was back up and running within minutes of my arrival. It was amazing. Dell had told me that the desktop could not be repaired for a reasonable price and that I needed to buy a new one. It turned out that a Dell bios upgrade had gone bad and literally burned up the two video cards in the PC. Martin had it booted and running before Cody and I were even done talking. The clone job was to take a couple of days to get the new SSD drive and clone it. In fact, Cody called the next morning and said it was done and ready to be picked up. This company is absolutely amazing. Their service goes beyond all expectations. And the price they charged was most reasonable. I highly recommend them. They are network specialists too.

When I picked up the "repaired" laptop, no programs or apps opened and CD reader didn't work either. I called Cody's Technologies and they were able to redo the competitor's mistakes and make everything work perfectly. They were easy to communicate with and did great work. I'll be taking my computer work there from now on.
