Today, I went to get a diagnostics from Steven. I received the diagnostics and decided to not continue with the repair at this location. He was charging 300 dollars with a 35 dollar diagnostic fee. When I brought back my computer home . I come to find out parts are broken. He does not care for his costumers or hardware he is working on. I do not recommend and will never go here again. All he did was move my cables and make a mess. This occurred on 02/03/21. Update 02/07/21 . I took off the CMOS battery and put it back in alone with the GPU. Problem fixed. This guy is overcharging everyone for issues that are fixed within 5 minutes. Definitely do not recommend. This guys integrity is bad. Very greedy and just there to take your money. I turned in my laptop for screen replacement. Took over a month and still didn't repair my laptop screen. I asked if I can pick it up and he got nasty with me. When I picked up my laptop, the screen was worse than before! Before it was useable, now it is completely cracked. My wife dropped her iPhone and the screen shattered. I deposited the phone in the nearest Iphone repair shop at 11 am and the phone was returned before 1:00 pm. They called me to let me know that it was fixed as well as an email with a security code to receive it from the Iphone repair . I called on 09/27/18 and asked a question about being able to update an iPhone 5c. The man who answered the phone said "they don't do that" and hung up on me. Absolutely horrible costumer service. I brought in a laptop to get fixed with a crack in it. They charged me 300 to fix the display only for it to stop working a week later. When I brought it in to get fixed under their "warranty" they claimed it was never cracked when I brought it in. They claimed to photograph every computer but when I asked them about the photographs of mine they never showed them to me. Instead they tried to claim I voided the warranty by dropping it which I never did. Long story short they're a horrible shop that won't fix your computer the first time and then will call you a liar when you want to get the proper fix you paid for. read more

I recently went to Apple Genius Bar because my MacBook won't turn on but I had all my information inside my computer. They told me that they had to reset the computer and erased everything. Sorry to say I was pretty unhappy with the service here. They kept my computer for a week and a half without telling me anything, so I called and asked about it and they almost sounded like they forgot I left it at all. They told me my motherboard was fried and they were looking for a new one. Another week passed and they said they couldn't find a replacement so I ended up picking it up without anything being changed for my computer. I went to another shop and they fixed my computer in a day. There wasn't anything wrong with the motherboard and luckily I didn't pay to replace it. So basically I payed to get an incorrect diagnosis :/ They were still courteous and polite, but at least for me, the service here seemed kind of incompetent read more

My desktop computer crashed and would not boot on. After trying several attempts to fix it I decided to get expert help. The computer tech found that my hard drive was bad. I was worried that I would loss all my data but he fixed it by installing another hard drive and Windows 10 Professional and I was able to get to my stored data in the old hard drive. I took my laptop in because it wouldn't charge after my 7 year old accidentally dropped it . I wasn't sure if it was the computer or the charger . I looked on Yelp like I always do for close repair shops , I found one in Inglewood but it was a $55 fee just to look at my computer. When I continued my search I found this place. I called them and they immediately answered they said they offer a free computer diagnostic to see if it's the computer or the charger.. They kept the computer overnight since I brought it in around 5pm that was totally understandable. They called me like they said they would the very next day around 1pm and said my computer was fine and I just needed a new charger. I arrived and they gave me my computer no strings attached and with no hesitation. They did offer to sell me a charger however I opted to get the charger online because it was more affordable. Terrible. I don't advise anyone coming here. NEVER! I actually bought an open box Lenovo laptop from Best Buy, which the charger was missing. I bought the laptop as it is with cheaper price but decided to stop by LA PC Doctor Computer Shop to purchase the Lenovo Charger. Amazingly, the charger that I purchased worked perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with it. However, the next day when I tried using the laptop, which I purchased from Best Buy not LA PC Doctor, the keyboard stops working. Tried my possible best by restarting the computer, but no good results. So I returned the laptop back to Best But and they gave me my money back with no problem. Now, when I tried to return the charger back to LA PC Doctor, it turned into a different case. The guy who sold it to me said if the charger is burnt or not working, he won't refund me back my $40, which I agreed. He took the charger and test it out and it worked perfectly fine. Then all of a sudden, he changed his mind and said he won't still give me my money back. Confused and stunned, I looked at him and said "aren't you the one that said you'll give my money back if charger is working?" All what he said is "I don't care." Honestly, I was furious and angry to the fact that I started raising my voice because it's a total rip off. His second partner even picked up a plunger (toilet plunger) and threatened to hit me if I don't get out. Wow! Is that how to treat a customer? By the time I went outside to call my partner to explain the situation, that's when the guy that sold it to me immediately gave me back my money. I can literally forget about the money, but the fact that the computer that I returned will be no use to me and the charger itself is in good working condition, so what's the point of keeping the charger? There is no "no return policy" given to me, so why can't I get my money back? This is ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, I've been coming to this repair shop for years, but with different people. I have no idea how these new workers with no or less computer knowledge are working here. Customer service is terrible. If I didn't stand on my ground, I will definitely loose my money.
