After I heard that they make tuna sandwiches without mayo I had to try this place. I hate mayo.. With a passion. Mayo = Doom. But hey, that's just me, if you like mayo I wont hate on you or anything :]. Anyways.. It was a nice little drive down to Monrovia and my GPS got me there no problem (I get lost quite a bit without it...). Its right next to a Churches Chicken, Albertsons, Yoshinoya, and 24 Hour Fitness. The interior was simple and clean as was their menu. I liked that. Filled with wraps, salad, panini, and sandwiches. Yum.. Orders: Carribean Jerk Chicken Panini- Served hot with hummus, mango salsa, onions, jerk aioli, white cheddar, and on whole wheat. It was a good, normal size panini. Wasn't gigantic (because then it wouldn't be healthy, would it? lol). And came with soup for an extra buck fifty. Tomato Basil Soup with Croutons- This was delicious. Its exactly what it is.. Tomato basil soup with croutons.. Plain simple and delicious. Greek Tuna Salad- Again.. No mayo!! Woot! It was served with red wine vinegrette. Had tomatoes, feta cheese, cucumber tzatziki, pine nuts, onions, avocado, and the albacore tuna. It was a good size, and pretty filling. Next time, I want to try the vegi wrap.. Soy eggs sound interesting... Moving on, I really liked this place. I will definitely be back here again. Came here during lunch hour on a weekday and it wasn't bad. The decor inside is super cute and cozy. It's not very big though so I can imagine it fills up quick for those who decide to eat there. The staff aren't very friendly but it's probably because they're flustered by being busy. Who knows. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken wrap and got the salad on the side. It was pretty tasty. I have to admit though, my wrap tasted a lot like my salad so it's probably better to mix it up a little more (i.e. soup or chips). However, I appreciate that this place is absolutely healthy and has a HUGE selection of things to order, including vegetarian and vegan options. The prices here are very reasonable too so it's worth it for the amount of food you get. You should come here if you're already in the area or work close by. Found it randomly during a walk nearby my office. It is a small private owned business very clean and with a creative and unusual sandwich recipes. At first I was a bit sceptical to order something since prices are a bit on a high side of what I would normally pay for a sandwich with a side salad, but looking at how everything was prepared I realized that ingredients they are using are very fresh and much better quality than the typical paninis or other subs places. I ordered the chicken Caribbean panini with a side of spinach salad, sandwich filling was very generous and quite tasty and so was the salad. Very impressed with this place, the food as well as the customer service. We have visited something healthy and had them cater for two our events already and they produce quality goods every time. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they also have vegetarian/vegan options for people as well. If you are a health nut this place has something for you! This is a great hangout place with friends for lunch after Church. Or maybe after a workout at the fitness center close by. First of all, it is within walking distance from our Huntington Campus. Second of all, their service is amazing. Just bring a smile - as it says on the chalk board. And of course, their food is healthy and tasty. I normally goes for the Orange Walnut, as it is light, yet fulfilling. Their panini sandwich are also very good. The place has a very relaxing and casual environment. This place is sooooooooooooo good! I tried the Caribbean Panini with a side salad and I absolutely loved it! The Caribbean Panini has black bean hummus with avocado which made the sandwich. The side salad didn't even look like a side salad. It was a good size portion with spinach, tomatoes, carrots with vinaigrette dressing and was delicious also. Next time I'll ask if they can omit it or if it is already mixed into the pot of soup. Their prices are good for what you are paying for. He got a full wrap, I got half wrap and a tomato basil soup. It was $15 even. Not bad for what is expected to pay at similar establishments. Parking is plentiful. As noted, the inside is pretty drab. Boring dark colors, not extremely clean either. They do need to refine themselves and pay more attention to detail. -forgetting the turkey in my sandwich (though they were super cool and apologetic the whole time) -forgetting the dressing for our salad (seems like they were forgetting a whole lot this particular day, saw another guest complain about the chicken missing on his salad.) -end piece of toast that came with my soup (inconsistency, no one wants the end piece.) -Black seeds in the watermelon. -improper cuts of pineapple. (Too much core, I had one piece that was literally all core. Almost broke my jaw.) -browning on the avocados. They're in the right direction in terms of a great concept and attitude. I love my sandwich filled up to every corner, and they made it exactly how I want it! The way the bread is toasted is always good! Perfectly crunchy and crispy:) The side salad given is always the perfect size as well! There were also a couple of times when I got the Russian sandwich with roast beef and oriental side salad as well! The Russian sandwich is a little bit on the sweet end either their Russian sweet dressing. I don't specifically know what Russian dressing is, but let me tell you.. I can never stop ordering Russian! Just because something is healthy, doesn't mean it shouldn't taste good. The selections here are super tasty. I've had the Orange Walnut salad and I'd definitely recommend it. It was super fresh. The salad dressing comes on the side, which I appreciated. The chicken pesto sandwich was also good and I would order it again. I really like the food and the smoothies here but the the older man that works there (he might be the owner) is not professional. It took over 20 minutes for my friend and I to get our smoothies today. Throughout the process he kept telling us "someone is making them right now" and then at the end he said other smoothies were ahead of us and blamed our request to omit items added to the time. He then added that they had only one machine. We were waiting right at the counter for a while and no one else was seen getting a smoothie. He was a bit rude and tends to generally treat you like you are lucky to be there. We ended up being late getting back to work and this wasn't the first time. If he hadn't kept saying it would be out "right now" we would have left to go back to work. All the employees other than him are nice, but he tends to be at the register and his customer service is lacking. I have also noticed that when he is preparing something it takes longer. I have had a panini take almost 30 minutes.
