I'd heard so many good things about this place and finally made it out for weekend brunch. Definitely put your name in online ahead of time, I did it about two hours before and that was the move, especially during peak brunch hours on a weekend. The inside is really spacious and has a homey, comfortable feel to it. There's a bar section with seating when you first walk in. We ordered omelets and skillets and I cannot put into words how good that skillet was. Savory, perfectly seasoned, just an absolute 10 out of 10. Our waiter was also super friendly and talked us into trying the raspberry pancake with graham crackers on top. We were a little skeptical at first but wow, that ended up being one of the favorites. Tangy, sweet, fluffy and just perfectly done. Another 10 out of 10. The house lemonade is also fresh and so good, definitely get it. I completely understand the hype now and why this place is rated so highly. Just make sure you plan ahead and get your name in before you show up or you'll be waiting a while.

I can finally say I've been to hatch'd and I get the hype! This was our third attempt at brunch over a couple of years, but it is worth the wait. If you plan to go on a nice Saturday during a holiday weekend, consider joining the online waitlist about 90 minutes beforehand. As you might expect from the warning, hatch'd feels crowded when you first walk in (the host stand and bar seats just a few steps from the front door), but it has a historic South City charm once you move toward your seat. We were lucky enough to be seated on the second floor with exposed brick walls and ample table space for our group of four. As lively and active as hatch'd was, service was impressively prompt. The space between drinks and food was appreciated, as there's a lot of menu to explore. Something stands out for every palate, and even more for anyone as indecisive as me. Besides my regular black coffee (a breakfast requirement), I tried the Revolver, hatch'd's bourbon-and-Kahlua Old Fashioned. The coffee is a nice medium strength - not too bitter and great for refills, exactly what I want with breakfast; the Revolver was a delicious revelation (I guess I shouldn't be surprised that two of my personal favorites blend like chocolate and peanut butter). I landed on the Pikes Market omlette (with carmelized onions in place of red) and a side of Texican loaded hash rounds (topped with grilled jalapeno, onion, queso, pico de gallo, and cilantro). So much to appreciate on one plate: tender smoked salmon, salty feta, sweet caramelized onion, and crispy tots straight from the kithcen. Hatch'd served up a reminder why I rarely pass up breakfast food on any menu. My wife ordered the Drunken Leprechaun (a St. Patrick's Day-themed Blue Hawaiian) and Strawberry Basil French Toast. I personally prefer savory breakfast food (I'll always order an omlette over pancakes when given the choice), but the toast was very good and recommended if you prefer a sweeter meal to start the day. As busy as hatch'd was (and I imagine always is), we walked into the heart of the rush. After about 20 minutes or so, it was much easier for our group to hear and hold conversations. I feel comfortable speaking on behalf of everyone when I say we left pleasantly full and thinking about what's worth a try next time.

Just had breakfast at Hatch'd for the second time in a few months. We had Patrick as our server both times. He always takes care of us, does a fabulous job checking in, clearing the table and helping me put together a meal when I don't know exactly what to order. This is really appreciated especially since they were really busy today. The food was hot and fresh, the pancake wasn't t my vibe, more flat, a tinge sweeter than I like but still descent.the hash browns were cooked perfectly and some of the best I've had. The basil mint lemonade is really good. It's fresh and tasty. The grits are nice and creamy. I tried the pork belly which is smoked fresh. It was tender, a little salty, but flavorful. Unfortunately they don't have bbq sauce and the portion was a bit smaller than expected. That said. We look forward to going back!

This place has been on my list of places to try. I finally got the chance to go. My friend and I came here on our off day from work. We were able to get in right away and get seated. We sat at a high top table near the bar. This is a small restaurant that can be crowded during peak hours. If you go early in the morning, you should be able to get in without a wait. I ordered a sweet Sarah Mimosa and the strawberry basil French toast w/ a side of bacon and eggs. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The French toast weren't overly sweet, they had a slight crunch, all while still being soft and fluffy. The syrup wasn't overly sweet, and was nice and warm. The eggs were cooked to my liking (scrambled with cheese) and the bacon was nice and crispy, not salty. The sweet Sarah mimosa was flavorful with the perfect ratio of strawberry to champagne. Service was excellent. Our server gave us the perfect amount of time to browse the menu, got our drink and food orders in,and checked on us periodically. Pricing was reasonable. Parking can be a hassle as it's street parking. The residential areas fill up quickly and Main Street parking can be a hazard.

Great service as always! We love going here for special occasions or when, as in this case, family is visiting from out of town. We made our reservations through Yelp and everything went quickly and smoothly from there. Food was delicious and generous. Drinks were wonderful as well!

Truly the best breakfast experience we have ever had - we were seated quickly and out waitress was so friendly and helpful with my son's food allergies. The food was amazing - my husband got a skillet with grits and was impressed. It is super kid friendly with books in a basket by the entrance and someone came over with a horseshoe puzzle game which kept my eight year old occupied while we waited for our food. Such a cute space with lots of natural light and the nicest staff we have encountered on our trip so far! My croissant breakfast sandwich was perfect.

The best breakfast burrito I've ever had- probably my new favorite brunch! I came here for a birthday meal with friends during the holidays, so it was a bit crowded. However, we checked in on the waitlist on our way over, and we only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. (Given that the app told me we were 17th in line initially, I was worried it might take much longer.) The hostesses were very friendly and gave us an accurate estimate of the time it would take. We didn't even end up waiting long enough to order drinks at the bar, which would have been a great option had we been waiting longer. The food here is outstanding. There are so many choices, all with creative names ;) Our table ordered four different dishes, and everyone was satisfied! They all loved the Mary Moon, Bizzle & Grizzle, and Benny's Got Beef. My California King burrito was amazing- perfectly done scrambled eggs inside, bacon, hash browns smothered in queso, topped with their own fresh pico de gallo. I couldn't even finish the whole thing, and my husband loved the leftovers. Add bottomless mimosas, and your morning is made! I love the cozy local hole-in-the-wall vibes, with unique mugs all around. It all felt very authentic and homey. Parking is not easy here, but it helps to know that going in. Be prepared to circle the block a time or two for street parking. I promise it's worth it!

Solid breakfast dishes! I'm not a fan of the pancakes. They aren't fluffy and weirdly difficult to cut. The taste isn't bad but ehh. Their omelette and skillets are the way to go. Our waiter was nice but our food took well over 30 minutes to come out. This restaurant utilized the yelp waitlist which REALLY helps with timing and waiting at the restaurant. The waiting area is about 6 seats right at the door so knowing exactly how long and when to check in is a plus!

Hatch'd has quickly become my go-to brunch spot in the city. The food has creative names, delicious combinations, and is always served hot and fresh. Be prepared to wait on a table, as they get crowded on the weekends. But it's well worth the wait. Enjoy checking out all the various coffee mugs as decor. The staff are also friendly and will gladly share recommendations. Special shout-out to Josh and Mia for making our anniversary outing extra special. Pro tip: Order an omelette and sub your toast for a flavored pancake.

This place is a definite come back again! The customer service is amazing! We had Jordan as our server and his service was 10/10. To be honest the entire staff was excellent! The food was fantastic! The blueberry lemon pancake was great my kids had a smore waffle that was packed with flavor! The champagne pear pancake was delicious! It's a small intimate space where if you wanted you can talk to your table neighbor but provide the privacy if you needed it . They were showing old tv shows that provide nostalgia while eating ! ( price as right with bob barker was playing) all around it was a fantastic visit.

Very busy place on a Sunday brunch. Waiting list instead of reservations and keep you informed about your wait and time you can expect to be seated. Nice menu choices. Not overly unique but interesting plates and old standbys. Service was attentive , at first, but had a hard time following through with orders( two people in our party needed faster service than the rest of the group, ok'd, but dishes came out about the same time as the rest of our party). Quite a big place with upstairs seating. Comfy atmosphere.

Hatch'd is worth all of the hype! Parking is across the street which will have you running across gravois like a crazy lol but it's so worth it. I reccomend joining their waitlist because they are always busy. The California King is my absolute favorite thing to get here, especially because it's topped with their homemade pico. Hash rounds will always be my favorite side and I also enjoyed the biscuits and gravy as well. I'm usually not a breakfast person but Hatch'd changes that for me. This is the place I reccomend everyone for a delicious brunch! The vibes are cozy and family oriented. Every server I've had here has made us feel special and accommodated. The food I had was so good, I can't wait to come back and try something new.

We were overdue for a visit from the Illinois side. We had a small wait when we arrived, whi h we are always excited to see, because we know they are doing it right! We were sat quickly though. Again we love the artsy vibe here as I have said before. Service was fabulous as always. Josh came out and talked to us for a bit as well. They are so friendly here and truly take the time to get to know their customers no matter how busy they are! Food is delicious. My husband got the same thing as always the Nachostada. It is his absolute favorite. I went and tried something new. The Pastraomlette was awesome. It was loaded with meat and so good! Can't wait to go again

We sat outside , our server was wonderful and they were so helpful and accommodating. First I ordered the Dive Bar Coffee which just wasn't for me so i got the Dottie (with the good crunchy ice) instead and it was wonderful! (They even took the first one off and i didn't even ask, thoughtful. ) Food was delicious. My Hashbrown was delicious and crispy and seasoned and mm. And the salmon was yummy. My date got the baked eggs and loved it as well (they make their bread so will be back just to have bread). We also got the ButterScotch Budino for dessert. As someone who isn't a fan of pudding , this was goooooood. Salty, sweet and crumbling that cookie into it (per their suggestion), worth it. A small plates restaurant that felt a little Italian. We make reservations and show up to this place that looks like a neighborhood pub. Quaint, in the corner, inviting light shining through medium sized windows. Inside, the vibes were a hybrid of someone's very nice dining room and an old western saloon. I know that's almost nonsensical, but the vibes were good. We felt right at home. Service was spot on. The server was very nice and new the menu pretty well. The food came out tapas style, so when something was ready, it just came right out. I like that. I like the periods where there are so many plates on the table at one time that it's overwhelming. What's what eating is all about. As for the food itself, it was good. I'll give a little blurb on each thing, as not to wear out your eyeballs. Crispy Artichokes (sauce au vert). These were fun and nice and crispy. Don't see artichokes like these very often. The sauce was a little weak, though. Didn't exactly go well with these fried little morsels. 'Nduja Croquetas (bomba rice, spicy prosciutto, fontina, grenada pepper aioli). Wow, now these little flavor bombs cannot be missed. Spicy sausage arancinis with a nice peppery aioli to dip. An intensely flavorful little dish that I loved. Can't find it on the menu, maybe it was seasonal, maybe it was a special, but we had a bone marrow French onion soup that was nice. The soup was good good. Very well developed flavors. The marrow bone was a little sloppy, though, and we got a transverse cut of bone, leaving very little marrow to access. Next were the Mussels (green garlic broth, Spanish vermouth, pickled peppers, spring onions, grilled LF bread). Very well cooked mussels, sitting in a lovely broth to dip your bread in. Ask for extra bread. But do not ask for extra of that sauce. That was really bad sauce. Sauce work seems to be this place's only weak point. Probably the biggest dish of the night, the Bolognese Bianco (Newman Farms pork & mushroom bolognese, bucatini, gremolata, parmigiano reggiano). This was a really nice pasta dish! Love those big, thicc bucatini noodles. Flavorful bolognese, great texture from the gremolata, and just cheesy enough to make this probably the most complete dish of the night. Then finally the Sea Scallops (ramp soubise, morel mushrooms, house-cured pancetta). Scallops were scored and cooked to look like fine art. Light scallops paired with nice umami from the morels and the pancetta, all tied together by that nice soubise. You don't see that very often either. We ended the meal with a Sticky Toffee Pudding (apple & date cake, apple brandy toffee, crème chantilly, marcona almond tuile). Chef's kiss. Such a delicate sponge with a nice date flavor. Then boom, the sweet boozy toffee, the creamy chantilly, the texture from the tuile. Every element helped make this a great dessert to end a great meal. Overall, another very pleasant surprise. This was a very good dinner, and I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in St. Louis again.

There were only 6 of us, but they still made sure the dinner was spectacular and special for my birthday. The food was phenomenal and I need a whole series to go over the plethora of wines, beers, mocktails, cocktails, and more they offer! Having a mocktails list for my bestie was just an added bonus on top of everything else! I can't wait to come back again and try more deliciousness! Open the door, follow the hallway labeled "The Bellwether" to the elevator, select floor 3, enjoy the experience!

This is a very cute restaurant and gives you nice cozy vibes! Service was fast and efficient, which was nice for brunch. It wasn't too busy that morning. They also have a lot outside which makes parking very convenient. They have a pretty good assortment of options for breakfast and they had a special of a brunch burger, which someone in my party really enjoyed. I tried a tomato basil omelette which was OK. I think it needed a bit more flavor. The potatoes that came with it were very tasty.

Service was quick and our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. Very friendly. I go a coffee and my "friend" got a mimosa. We got the buttermilk biscuits to share and I got the breakfast sandwich. Everything was so delicious. I accidentally dropped my fork on the patio floor and it fell through a crack in the wood and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Everything was amazing and I would love to come back and try some new things like the delicious looking baked goods.

When I saw their post about the "cold weather comforts," I knew I had to go. We each did the pre fixe dinner- this included a salad, entree and dessert. Each. The chicken pot pie soup was not included, but was worth it. This soup--one of the best things I have ever eaten. I was speechless eating it. I had to text multiple people mid soup to tell them about it. The chicken was flavorful, and huge pieces. The soup itself was so delicious. It felt like a warm hug. I ordered the cottage pie. So delicious and hearty. The braised short rib was so tender. The potatoes were perfectly whipped. I cannot wait for the leftovers. My friend ordered the lasagna. The lamb was incredible. So hearty, and didn't feel heavy like some lasagnas can be. The serving size was huge. We will also be eating this tomorrow! Now the apple crisp. We were full by course two, but we had to dig in. It was fresh out of the oven. The vanilla bean whipped cream was so fresh and balanced out the crisp. The apples were perfectly jammy and the cinnamon was so intense but perfect. This made me feel like I was sitting in my grandma's dining room eating dessert after Sunday dinner. If you see any of these items appear on their menu, run-- and I will see you there!

FOOD-Omelettes were that, actual real omelettes not scrambled eggs with varied ingredients! My chorizo omelette was delicious. Chorizo was flavorful, I may nah e wanted more spice/hear, but float was there! Potatoes were cooked nicely. Wife's avocado omelette was also tasty as we're here potatoes. Wife also had a plain pancake which was a towering height and yummy. I had the Harvest waffle with bananas and strawberries. Again, flavorful waffle and the fruit was fresh and tasty too. We love coffee and the blend at Breakfast Corner is delightful! SERVICE-Sierra was wonderful. Gave us time to peruse the menu and took our orders. Coffee refill was timely and we kept the pot! Although the restaurant was full, food came out relatively quickly and hot. Management/ownership could be seen assisting with order deliveries and extra smiles...always a good sign! AMBIANCE-Space is brightly colored, has tasteful lighting fixtures, and the huge black and white St. Louis prints on the walls are a very nice touch! Overall noise level was good and we could take at a conversational level with ease. OVERALL-Our dishes were delightful and make us want to be back to try more items. Service was wonderful and also makes us want to be back. Happy to have found a new breakfast/brunch spot! Thank you!
