We used this company for our high school's prom for the last two years. The first year, the DJ…read moredidn't have any of our music downloaded and couldn't connect to the venue's wifi, so he didn't play anything that we wanted (and couldn't accommodate requests... but he asked for them anyway). What happened this year is reprehensible. During our dance, this DJ asked multiple high school-age girls for their phone numbers. He showed up to a kid's house party after the dance ended. That night, some students found a bio online that he had written saying proms were his favorite events to work, but, in our call weeks before, he told me that this was his first prom. This detail has now been removed. We reported this incident to Millennium Productions. Their excuse for a solution is to restrict this DJ from working proms in the future. We are extremely disappointed in the company's failure to fully hold its employees accountable for inexcusable predatory behavior. Do not work with them.

Our parents were getting into it, the grandparents were getting into it, little kids, etc. My father in law was wandering around with some of the props on his head and the photographer snapped a few that ended up in our wedding album - hilarious! These pictures were really the first thing we got photo-wise from our wedding since the formal wedding photos take a little bit to come back, so we really cherished these a bunch! Most brides and grooms have to simply wait for their photographer to get through several weddings before they see their own wedding festivities. Fish Eye Fun solves that problem. The photobooth is not cheap, and the product and service you get in return is not cheap (you get what you pay for and its worth it), but I have seen other photo booths put out photos that are not unique in any way. Fish Eye Fun is unique and their employees and customer service are excellent. I believe they care about their clients, and they truly get involved with their clients on Facebook, Instagram, etc and make you feel like you've become their friend - even after your wedding. I appreciate that about a business, a lot, and it means they are getting my word of mouth and I am at the right age where a LOT of people are getting married to whom I could offer advice. Event planning is also a small part of my job as a finance coordinator. ;) You are getting what you pay for. Pro tip, book them at a wedding show and save a chunk of cash on your fee. My friends and I are trying to think of reasons to have events where it would be appropriate to hire them again and all pitch in for it... Yeah, we are just those kinds of people - give us some liquor and a photobooth. ...Maybe we could throw fake weddings for the photobooth. Dude, I just came up with a fabulous idea and nobody has to legally get married... Be right back.

To be honest, it is uncomfortable to write details about my experience; but to keep it short and to the point. Shannon just doesn't have what it takes to manage many moving parts. You can hire her to plan your kids birthday party, but by no means can she handle a wedding; and mine had under 150 guests. My other vendors had a hard time coordinating with her and appeared disgruntled towards her. understandably so. She might appear to write things down, but manages to confuse dates, times and specific requests. Hope this helps the next bride; Pay a little more and get a stress free day!

My husband and I got married at The McPherson in November 2019. We are so grateful, it was a 65…read moredegree day and then the next it was snowing! Anyway, prior to deciding on this venue, we had toured other venues near CWE and what really sealed it for us was Phillip. We toured the venue with Phillip, he worked within our budget, treated us impeccably well, was very easy to coordinate the wedding day-of events, he was beyond attentive on our wedding day, and he made sure I was taken care of on our wedding day. As soon as he knew we were good to go (after cocktails) he let us go about our evening with the reception. We had both the ceremony and reception here. When I say that we did nothing on our wedding day, we did nothing! Phillip's team flipped the room from the ceremony to the reception in less than 30 minutes so that my wedding party can decorate. Our decorations were minimal because the venue is the statement. You actually do not need a lot of decorations (unless you want to, then you do you!) but we thought the venue was so gorgeous. I attached some photos for some inspiration and hopefully it inspires you to book The McPherson. Location: I am from Los Angeles so having my family come to STL and spending some time in CWE was a no brainer. The McPherson has a large parking lot for any guests coming with cars. We stayed at The Chase after our wedding so location was so convenient. Venue: Marvelous! There was a bridal room and even a groom's room! The bridal room was downstairs and reminded me of a salon! My niece-in-laws and bridal party had so much fun in the bridal room while we waited for guests to arrive. There is even a tv for you to see when guests arrive and where they are sitting. The back patio was so romantic. No decorations needed! Catering: The McPherson partners with Russo's catering. Food was a delight! I am not too picky however for some reason I do recall how food at a wedding was, that's just me. I don't care too much about grand flowers or a massive cake. To each their own! Russo's invited us to a tasting and holy gryffindor! It was so much fun. Very detailed, well organized, and we felt so special! Our catering contact scheduled an appointment with us closer to our wedding date to talk through details. Super easy to work with! Their team puts everything together and breaks everything down! Some of my family members are gluten free, some needed high chairs, and Russo's had a full plan for all our special needs! We went with passed appetizers right after the ceremony and they were a hit! We also went with assorted desserts, they were bite sized and we instead of a large cake we went with a token cake just to cut for photos. We also hand picked all five of our dessert options! Every time my husband and I reminisce about our wedding day, we cannot think of anything that went wrong and that is mostly due to this venue, the catering company, and you gotta have a top notch wedding party. For the event I attended, all of the glasses behind the bar were still stacked in those crates - piling HIGH (like 6-7 feet off the ground). The view was outstanding since you are10 stories above everyone else and overlooking downtown St. Louis. The inside had loft height ceilings and other elaborate touches. The open bar ALL night was probably the real expensive aspect of the wedding. All of my in-laws are from Wisconsin and L-O-V-E alcohol. The grand total for her wedding for ~500 people was roughly $50 but that was 6 years ago. Highly reccommend Windows On or Off Washington for any special event!

My now-husband and I are not "photoshoot" comfortable, but she made it easy, and the pictures are the perfect reflection of us. When it came to wedding planning, i thought i had all my ducks in a row, but a lot fell through the cracks on my part. When I was not fully prepared the day-of, Michelle was the perfect person to have by my side, from her endless "survival kit", to her ability to wrangle my bridal party for photos; from her calm, positive demeanor, to her ability to go with the flow, she really made sure we got special shots with everyone, and made the day so much more special. I could not have asked for a better experience, and her guest photographer was just as professional and poised through all the events and transitions that our wedding day had.
