A little history, this space was formerly the Shaw Theatre, opening in 1915 which once seated about 1100 people for screenings, offering some neighborhood nostalgia. Then the theatre transitioned from a bustling movie spot to a corner store. Now, like described above, it's a beautiful event space.

The building is obviously very old, but the interior seems very well kept. Seems like it was many buildings that have been converted into one- remember to look up while inside to see the unique architecture making up the roof/ceiling! There were some local kids running around the place, eating pizza, and playing games during the networking event. They were welcomed with open arms by the folks running the event. That just shows how awesome the owners are- welcoming everyone and really becoming a part of the community.
