Our small group of five or six were literally yelling to be able to hear what another person was saying. Lots of creative Christmas themed cocktails. The food was good - just not a whole lot to choose from (two types chicken salad sandwiches on slider buns and only one hot item (potato skins). Pretty pricey too, but since entry was free I guess they had to make their money somehow. I'll be on the lookout for more events from this group!

It was mainly just a light reflecting, snowflakes all over. However, I did love that they had a coat rack as soon as you walked in. There is very minimal seating and a majority of tables are stand up tables. Were you gather around a blue table. I do wish they had more snow or something to go with the name of the pop-up, which is frozen. However, I did very much enjoy the blue lighting and the bourbon drinks. The staff was extremely friendly, and really took the time to explain the process of the smoked bourbon, which I thought was very neat.

But…read morewhatever Rose of the Hill was doing wrong before, they must have fixed it all before we got to them because we were not only pleased with everything, we were BLOWN AWAY. And most importantly, so were our guests. We just had our wedding reception at Rose of the Hill on June 23, 2018, and could NOT be happier with our choice! First of all, Quentin Dunk is amazing to work with. He's extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, but the best part is how great he is on the actually day of your wedding. Quentin checked in with my husband and I SO many times to make sure we were getting everything we needed, he took care of our family and friends incredibly, and if there was a job to be done, Quentin jumped right in there to do it. THE FOOD. Oh my goodness.... DE-LICIOUS. We decided to do a Family Style dinner and it was an absolute hit. Everyone commented on how quickly the food came out and how nice it was to be able to sit down while still getting to pick and choose what they wanted on their plate. And everyone said that the Penne with creamy tomato sausage and sage was their favorite =) We would have our reception there all over again. DEFINITELY recommend.

Great props and designs and special effects . I really enjoyed this pop up and all it had to offer.

If you are considering this venue for a wedding or event, we strongly urge you to look elsewhere…read more We booked them for some wedding-related events and ultimately had to take them to court over several clear breaches of contract -- and won. The issues included charging us for services that were never provided, making false claims to withhold our deposit, and failing to honor major terms of our alcohol agreement. Their own attorney acknowledged in court that the venue was not equipped to manage an open bar for an event of our size, despite representing otherwise, accepting payment, and signing a contract stating they could. In our experience, this organization prioritized collecting payment over delivering on its commitments -- a particularly disappointing quality given that it presents itself as a religious organization. If you do move forward with them, ensure your contract is extremely detailed, and document everything in writing and photos -- that evidence was essential in our case. If alcohol will be served, we also recommend verifying that their liquor license is active before signing anything. Good luck!

The contact was very simple to understand, the process was flawless. The decorated exactly how I wanted. Amen I walked into the event hall it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind. The place was set up beautifully. It was very professionally run. The food was top notch, really really good. They actually handled everything perfectly. My only complaint of that the food servers put the good away too quickly. None of the guest were given the opportunity to go up for seconds although there was a ton of food left over. It stated in the contract that food cannot be removed from the premises and that's was fine with me but I would expect my guest to be able to get what was there instead of it being packed away so quickly. Some of my guest left and went and picked up a burger because they were still hungry. There were several guest that did not make the event which means there was more than enough for some folks to get seconds. I'm not sure what happened to the food that was left over but it was a significant amount. My nephew actually did ask for s couple of played to go and was given what he asked for but I'm my opinion the servers should have allowed a little more time for people to eat their fill. I would definitely use them again but I would make sure there would be a better understanding about the serving of the food.
