    Irish kiwi margarita

Kameron n Bailey was amazing at serving us for Valentine's Day. This place is amazing for pop up themed holidays for a night out or date night for sure. Tons of photo opts. Decor super cool ever year from Xmas for vday to Irish fest! Cottleville never disappoints. Make sure make reservations a head of time and sooner the better for parking at night.

I love this place for their pop up bar themes. I have been several times. It is always fun to see the themed decorations. This time they cut back in that department. It was a Wizard of Oz theme this time around. When I've gone for multiple holiday themes they go all out. The drinks and appetizers have catchy names and are served with great attention to detail. It seems to be the same drinks with different names for each theme. I wish there was more of a variety on occasion. I will definitely go back this fall for Halloween. It's by far the best!

Public school house always offer a creative and beautifully decorated pop-up bar. Drinks are always amazing but food is generally simple and overpriced. I understand reserving a payed table but would be fantastic if they started applying part of the reservation fee to the tab, as many other pop-up bars are not charging a table fee. $65 for two drinks, an app and a table reservation(per person)

My husband and I decided to FINALLY try this place out...I'm always hearing about their unique pop-ups so I kept an eye on when they were selling tickets for seating for their most recent pop-up, The Love Shack, and I actually scored tickets for the day before Valentine's Day. We walked in and were greeted right away and sat at our seats at the bar....the seats weren't the MOST comfortable especially for my husband who is a pretty big dude but we made it work. The bar tender was personable and we ordered our drinks and food right there. The drinks were super tasty and were great for the theme of The Love Shack! Super cute!!! The only complaint I would have is that for an alcoholic drink....you didn't feel anything. The lettuce wrapped meatballs were super delicious and the fries!!!!! Yummers!!!! The meat skewers were just okay.... I think this is someplace I would bring my girlfriends next time to!!! It was beautifully decorated and romantic...but, I feel like my girlfriends would have appreciated this more than my husband did! We had a great time and it had wonderful customer service, pretty good food and themed drinks!

Been here for multiple pop up bars and the most recent one, Harry Potter, was a blast! They always go all out for decorations- the details are fantastic. We had a great experience this go around. Our reservation was 7-9pm, and we were seated promptly at a table for 6. Right when we walked in we saw all of the letters hanging from the ceiling, the sorting hat, house flags, and servers dressed up as characters. It's such a fun vibe. They have a limited menu, which makes sense since the stars of the show are the cocktails. These menus in particular fit the theme well, as they were newspapers. They had brats, chicken, and a tenderloin in puff pastry option. The drinks were awesome!! I got the Margarita which came with a side of butterfly pea flower syrup that made it purple. It was rimmed with black salt (again, the details). We also had the bamboozled shots, just like the beans in the books. These were soooo fun to try and guess what flavors they had! I ended up with snot lol- which was a lemon drop flavor. Kudos to the Public School House team. Can't wait for the next pop up!

I've been to so many events here and they are top notch. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. The owners are always there interacting and ensuring people are having a good time. The theme pop ups are beyond any I've been to. The food partners are high quality and the crafted cocktails are amazing! Can't recommend this place enough for girls nights out, date nights or your next big event!

This was my second time here for a pop up bar, and I have to say I did enjoy the selection of food and drinks better the last time I came for a Valentine's event, with that being said it was decorated cute as before, the staff was friendly and attentive as ever.

Toasted Chestnut - Holiday Popup Bar. This was beautifully decorated for holiday lights. The indoor restaurant was also nicely decorated and they have table available for reservations. As we didn't find a reservation, still decided to stop by and check out. Parking was troublesome, very less amount of parking spots , we were lucky to find a spot right in front of entrance. If you dont have reservations, they have tent behind the house, to accommodate the guests they also have a patio heater. Behind this house there is Christmas lights walk which is $8 per person. I really loved the atmosphere and place, i will definitely try to go here with reservation and a group of friends to spend couple hours

The Public School House in Historic Cottleville is a charming gem that beautifully marries history with event hosting. Housed in a former one-room schoolhouse built in 1875, it has been lovingly restored to its former glory and transformed into a unique event venue that is perfect for a wide array of gatherings including a Halloween popup, Christmas popup & Valentine's Day popup. So nostalgic with a great patio! Clearly, we attended the Halloween Popup and it was incredibly fun!!!!!

THE CUTEST PLACE EVER!! If you have never been to one of their Holiday pop ups, use this as a sign to go. They go all out with decorations and curate a holiday drink menu. As you can see in the interior photo, this place is incredible! Even more so is for Christmas they put tons of christmas lights up and do heated igloos! We got SEVERAL drinks. I got the LIT drink, a peppermint drink, and a santa's cookie shot. My friend had the boozy hot chocolate & a santa shot!

My friends and I came for the Christmas holiday pop up bar. The inside is so cute and festive. Every inch of the place is decked out in Christmas stuff! The service was very fast and quick which we liked since our reservation was for only 2 hours. The drinks were so good! We all ordered different drinks so we could try them all and there was not one I didn't like. We also got the shots and they were very big and just as good as the drinks. My favorite drink was the Russian nog. The food is from sugar fire and that was very good. We ordered the nachos and the meat balls. The meat balls were too sweet for my liking but good. The nachos were massive enough for 3 people to share and my favorite! The gave 4 stars instead of 5 because you have to pay to make a reservation and then the prices for the drinks and food were a little pricey considering we had to pay for the reservation. Overall, it was a fun experience, good food and drinks.

TL:DR - Just do it. Ruth and Mike are amazing. The venue is gorgeous and the value is unbeatable…read more I cannot say enough positive things about Ruth/Mike and their venue. At literally 25% of the costs of the other venue we were looking at, you CANNOT do better than Ruth and Stone House. Not only do you get a great venue and day of coordinator in Ruth, you also get a DJ and a treasure trove of items to use on your big day like lanterns and garlands. Using her items vs. buying your own, helps alleviate some of the issues with finding homes for 50 black lanterns later. The venue itself is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Its great high ceilings and woodwork will make for a super unique venue that will make your day unforgettable. I cannot tell you how many people have told us how beautiful the venue was afterwards. We had a few special things we wanted to do for our guests like putting hand written name cards out at their seats and play a few jokes on our friends. We had asked volunteers to come help us do all of this, but Ruth and her staff was already on top of it and took care of everything and beyond. Ruth even helped our jokes by writing some Chinese on our seating chart. Ruth was super communicative throughout the entire process, making herself available both via email and texts, never taking longer than 24 hours to respond. We had our ceremony inside and her staff was able to flip the interior in no time, making the transition from ceremony to reception seamless. We literally cannot sing her praises enough.

Stone House Of St. Charles This place isn't worth it. Don't…read moreget me wrong the place is unquestionably beautiful. However, the owner Ruth overshadows that with her rudeness, condescension, pushiness, and interference. Stone House isn't cheap so you would think you would be able to have your wedding the way you want it. Not with Ruth around. A wedding day should be about the bride and groom. If you want it that way do not use Stone House. There are lots of venues that are just as pretty that don't come with an owner who is overbearing and tries to force you do what she think you should want vs what you as a couple actually want. My husband and I got married there a few weeks ago and I hardly know where to start so I'll go in order. First, you can only used one of her caterers and of the five only one will respond so it's not a stretch to figure out that they are friends. The food was so-so and the carterer was easy to work with so I can make my piece with that. Second, the bar BOOZE BROTHERS. You are required to use them and they are impossible to work with because of their lack of communication. I would be hazard to guess that the only reason they are in business is because of Stone House. Nobody would book them otherwise. Ruth's son runs Booze Brothers. The only way to reach them is to email mommy and after she or her husband reaches out to them, they will respond to an email. There was a required meeting with Ruth a few weeks before the wedding. I knew then that we were going to have a problem. She'd ask a question and before I could finish a sentence she'd interrupt and keep talking. I tried to tell her what we wanted and how we wanted things set-up and not only did she keep interrupting she argued with me that what we wanted wasn't a good idea. Just for context part of what I do is directing production shows which includes organizing local and national talent. I know how to put on an event. It only took about ten minutes for me to just sit back and let my husband talk. She tried to interrupt him also, but he just kept talking until she eventually, reluctantly agreed we could set up our wedding and reception the way we wanted. Ruth requires rehearsals to be the Thursday before the wedding at her designated time. So, good luck to anyone in your wedding party who is coming in from out of town. When we arrived, I began introducing people and then started from the beginning of the ceremony and intended to go in order until the end. Well, Ruth had no intention of letting that happen. She wanted to start in the middle and then circle around to get back to the beginning. Since our previous meeting, my husband and I had come up with a pretty nice way to honor my parents who had passed which meant it moved where some people sat. So, I was having to go around behind Ruth correcting her as she went. Ruth is a very loud woman and asked me if I wanted her to run the rehearsal or not. I told her I did not that I was perfectly cable of running a rehearsal. I had also told her this when we arrived. Evidently, it was a rhetorical question because she kept talking and directly people the way SHE wanted them to be. I was frustrated and tired of arguing with her so I sat down and watched with some amusement about the ludicrously as she stumbled through the most unorganized and confusing rehearsal, I had ever seen in almost 40 years. What resulted was a group 12 people leaving rehearsal without a clue as to what they were doing. So, I had to conduct 12 individual rehearsals on Friday and Saturday before my wedding started. Ruth also said they she would be running things the day of the wedding and her "team" would be giving instructions and orders. I put my foot down there and told her there would be no one ordering anyone around. The person running the wedding would by our DJ. As far as the DJ, it is included in her price. However, Ruth refuses to let you meet with him or her prior to the wedding. I would never agree to let someone in such an important role be selected without a meeting. That, in my opinion, is a recipe for disaster. So, my husband and I spend the money to hire our own DJ and it was money well spent. Despite the fact that Ruth made her life miserable for a week before the wedding and made digs at her the day of, she was professional and made sure that things went according to the plan my husband and I laid out. The day of the wedding, I gave my bridesmaids one job. Keep Ruth away from me. Unfortunately, her "team" wasn't much nicer than she was. The day went smoothly because our DJ did take over and my Husband's mother oversaw the set-up. Ruth sent her rules at least four or five times and they are all listed in the contract. We obeyed every rule no matter how small or stupid it was. However, Ruth violated her own contact. Her contract states that Stone House will get, set-up, and repack any items that are brought in exactly as they receive them. I packed every box carefully and labeled them. About 9

This place was....interesting…read more I'll be honest, it popped up as a pumpkin patch. My sister just moved to the area and was looking for one close for her kiddos, and this was around the corner, so we decided to give it a try. To start, it was $10/person to get in, which wasn't really promoted. We've lived many different places and have never had to pay to get into a pumpkin patch, so that was a surprise. Kids were the same price, also a surprise. The property is pretty cool, they have some farm animals. They sold food to buy but half the animals you couldn't feed and the other half were already full from being fed so much. We assumed it was a regular petting zoo and bought some food before seeing it, so we ended up with leftover bags of food and no animals to feed. The hay ride only went once hourly so you basically had to wait around forever if you wanted to ride it. The maze was cool and the concept seemed really fun to find a message BUT the first word on the message was "God" and honestly, nowhere did they promote this farm as a religious-based experience. Lastly - the pumpkins. We came here for one reason. They don't even grow pumpkins on site, they ship them in, and they don't keep them stocked. I think we had like 20-30 pumpkins to choose from, if that, and they were picked over. We had a 4YO and a 6YO and they couldn't pick any of the pumpkins up, all the kid size ones were already sold. I feel like this could be a good spot for what it is, and if it was marketed as that - a Christian family fun farm experience. But, that's not what we had expected based on the marketing they had, so it was a bit of a disappointment for us.
