Every year a partner and I plan a "Back to School" party for our school. The attendance is normally just shy of 200ppl. This year our party was at 612North. From the very beginning, I knew that with Christina and her attentive team that we would be in great hands. The venue (612North) is housed in the once estate of Henry Shaw (Missouri Botanical Gardens). The look and feel of this venue is very a very on-trend and chic-poured floor, exposed brick sort of gig. The killers are the very tall picture windows on three sides which view is the newly face-lifted Gateway Arch. It was very fun to hear the gasps as people caught the sights and realized they could "almost touch The Arch". 612North Catering: Foodstuffs are created by the talent behind Drunken Fish...yes, their bespoke sushi is available, but also many other flavors and textures that show Drunken Fish and associated companies to be au courant and very formidable in St. Louis party eats. Macaroni and Cheese with shards of bacon, hot sauce or other mix ins. Crispy pillowed pot-stickers dipped in salty-sweet ginger goodness. Most memorable for me was their Flatbread Board. Flatbread pieces topped with varied things creating the perfect finger food. Tops in my book was a mellow Bechamel and Caramelized Onion, Gruyere and Thyme melded perfectly on a tender crust. Items of course can be tailored for your needs and desires. Once the party was humming along there was nothing for me to worry about. A major plus. Working with Christina was a dream. Communication was open and responses immediate. A (patrolled) public parking lot is mere feet from the entrance so attendees need not worry. Coat check included. If you want a fun, hip gathering place, 612North is happening and it's happening in Downtown's Laclede's Landing. There is no doubt we will use again. read more

My family has frequented this space for their Mother's Day and Easter specials. The service and the food have drastically and continually taken a downturn. We went today for Mother's Day and our timeslot was at 2 o'clock. We got there on time. The food had already been sitting out for a while. It was dried out and cold. There were only a few items that were still warm. The coffee was cold. My two year-old nephew was in a booster seat that literally fell apart while he was in it and he fell to the ground. I asked for the manager. The district manager came out and did zero to make things right except for bring over a new booster chair he smiled in our faces and seemed like he could absolutely care less. We didn't hear from him for the rest of the time that we were there. We will never come back. read more

My family and I came here for their Easter brunch and Mother's Day brunch. The price was fair and you have to make a reservation and pay in advance. It does make it easy the day of by having paid already. There's paid parking $10.00. They have a nice variety of food options, beverages and dessert. For an additional fee they offer bottomless mimosas. Soda, coffee and juice is included. They can accommodate large groups. The food is good and so is the service. The area of improvement would be the logistics the day of. We waited for 45 minutes to be seated at our reserved time for Mother's Day. Once they get that figured out things will be so much better. read more

We had the pleasure of working with 612North for our wedding. Meredith is incredible. She is very detail oriented, communicative, and fun!! All of the wedding decisions can be overwhelming and Meredith was there to help us make the right decision for ourselves. We did their micro wedding package which was perfect! It's a very good deal and all prices are laid out front. We added on some extra open bar time but everything else was in the package. Everyone LOVED the food. We had the taco and gyro stations which have all of the toppings you can want plus enough vegetarian options we didn't feel the need to have a separate option for vegetarians. Everything went flawlessly and we couldn't be more appreciative of Meredith and the 612North team. Not to mention how gorgeous the space is so you can keep your decor minimal and it still looks incredible. I hope everyone looks at their venue coordinator the way I did on my wedding day!! read more

Recommend not going for a holiday brunch until they can better manage - made reservations for Easter and when we arrived families had been waiting over 1.5hr to be checked in. We had elderly parents and most people were standing due to the limited seating in waiting area. Would have liked to have tried but could not have our parents standing around that long. read more

612 North is primarily an event space. They are not a restaurant so I want to be fair when reviewing their Mother's Day Brunch. The issues that will prevent me from ever going back are mainly with the misleading reservation system and the antiquated manual way they call parties for their tables. The actual buffet brunch was nice. A wide variety of well prepared familiar items like quiche, smoked salmon, eggs, bacon, pastries, a carving station, donut wall etc. The venue is also lovely. Brick walls and tons of windows with views of the Arch and River offer a hip spacious setting. Prepaid tickets were $55 per person. For an extra fee you could add bottomless mimosas. When purchasing the tickets you were required to select a specific reservation time which logically lead you to believe you had a table reserved. We arrived a few minutes b4 our noon reservation and walked into a waiting area that looked like a refugee camp or the DMV before a holiday weekend. There was no visible hostess directing traffic. The line snaked through a long hallway and it was unclear as to where you check in. We were told by the people waiting to check in at the front of the line where there was one capable but clearly over worked host. The host checked off our name and told us it would be half hour wait. Really?! What exactly would be the point of a reservation? I didn't mind so much because it was a nice day and we could walk around the Landing while waiting. But to insure the most stressful experience possible everyone was held captive in a hot hallway waiting for their name to be shouted into the crowd. No texting when your table is ready. That would be modern and simple. After an entire hour had passed our name was called and we were finally seated. Again very little instruction from the staff about how to proceed with regard to drink orders ...Where is the bar? Does a waiter take cocktail orders? There were about 4 plates and a few rolled silverware left on the buffet. The staff was working hard to refresh the buffet but initially several items looked very picked over and depleted. I discovered the one free mimosa perk for every mom when I went to the bar to purchase a drink and the bartender asked to see my bracelet?? After a confusing explanation of their mimosa 'policy' I was told every mom gets a one free mimosa. OK great but again why so over complicated? This place needs a serious hospitality consultant. read more

So much to be grateful for, and that includes this amazing business. Ordered Thanksgiving Dinner for 8 and it was beautifully prepared and everything tasted soooo good!! My parents love a good meal and this was definitely prepared by a chef who knows his/her way around a kitchen. The bourbon mashed sweet potato dish and green bean casserole and stuffing were our faves. Oh and the turkey was tender and juicy. The way it was packaged made it so easy to reheat and serve and we were able to eat and fellowship and enjoy one another's company without stressing about dinner. Highly recommended. We had a fantastic experience at 612 North on Laclede's Landing in downtown St. Louis on May 9, hosting the St. Louis Regional International Partnership annual dinner and gala. WOW! Everything on the day of our wedding was absolutely perfection. I can not recommend this venue enough. We had the best experience. The space itself is stunning, and we were able to utilize both the downstairs and upstairs for our wedding/reception/cocktail hour. Madison was quick to respond with any questions I had, and she was there on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. As an event planner, I get to have a different view of this venue and company. I hosted a formal for my sorority, and Christina made the experience so smooth. There were about 200 people and we rented the venue downstairs. The facility itself is already so beautiful, but the people running it are absolutely phenomenal. I have contacted so many venues that are bad at responding, but this location has responded within a day. Whenever I had issues or requests, Christina found a way to accommodate them. I especially loved this venue since they also provide catering, so it's one less thing I have to worry about during the day of the event. We recently had our 20 year high school reunion at 612 North. It was amazing. The venue is BEAUTIFUL! It has huge windows that overlook the arch and arch grounds. Beautiful brick walls. We were on the 5th floor which is a long rectangular room which is perfect for any event. We had our DJ and dance floor on one end and our photobooth on the other. Tables were in the middle. The bar was on one end in the corner and had plenty of space for guests to mingle while getting a drink. The space was very easy to access of 2nd street. You arrive to an elevator vestibule and take it up to the appropriate floor. There was parking across the street. Very easy access for anyone with disabilities as well. The space really is gorgeous. Very clean, beautiful views and spacious. The staff was beyond helpful even with last minute changes. They even provided LED lights in our school colors and a gobo display of our school logo/mascot. Our reunion went off without a hitch due to this beautiful space and amazing staff. Food was great. We did appetizers and every single one was good. We had no issues with having not enough food. Everything was the appropriate amount. Also, the staff serving and helping were so nice and made us feel special. Christina and Phil, the event specialist and manager, are so great to work with and you really can't go wrong with having your wedding or next special event here. This place is a GEM!!! read more

My husband and I got married on June 28, 2019 at 612North. For our one year anniversary he surprised me with a celebration at our home including, family, friends, and a catered dinner from 612North, which happened to be the same exact meal we had at our reception. Everything down to our hors d'oeuvres we got to experience again (the cantelope, prosciutto, and goat cheese with balsamic glaze is a top fav!). What made it even more special was Christina delivered and set up everything for us. We cannot say enough good things about this business, and we are so happy we were able to help support them in some way this crazy year. We started working with 612 North 3 weeks before our wedding date. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we needed a quick change. Madison was our event coordinator. From the first phone call, to the night of our wedding we felt that this venue, and everyone working in it, was there for us. They have modified their everyday work flow to make sure everyone who attended our wedding, their staff, and our vendors were safe and healthy. Customer service from everyone was top notch. On top of all that, the venue is absolutely beautiful! It's easily morphed from a ceremony space to a reception area. The venue also has a second space for a happy hour during the flip, or for a smaller event. Each space feels welcoming and able to be modified to what your wishes are. Madison was the biggest God send. She worked hand in hand with our wedding planner to make our day absolutely perfect during such an uncertain time. She always made us feel and know that she was going to do anything and everything to make our day exactly what we wanted. The catering group in 612 North was able to quickly meet with us and have a tasting 10 days before our wedding. Even with short notice, they didn't cut any corners and made sure we had everything we wanted to taste. The food was delicious, and sealed the deal that everything was going to be perfect on our day. Obsessed with this venue, I'm having two parties there! When Covid hit, Madison at 612 was so perfect to work with. She was informative and accommodating when I decided to cut my numbers down to 25. Absolutely fabulous meal. I'm a great cook but our kitchen is in the middle of renovation and tackling a big meal just wasn't feasible; I couldn't have done better. Our thanksgiving meal was a big hit for the whole family! Even picking it up the day before and reheating slowly in the oven the next day, everything was moist and delicious. I just put the turkey in the bottom of a dish with the dressing on top, a few pats of butter, and foil at 300 for 2.5 hours. Planning a wedding during Covid was stressful, but working with Madison Payne made everything seem easy. Madison was available anytime via email , text, or social media. She was extremely responsive whenever I needed her, even when myself or my mom went Bridezilla. Madison and her team set up an amazing tasting so we could pick our food, they rehearsal and day before our wedding we were able to go into the venue and set everything up which made such a difference for my piece of mind. The day of the wedding , Madison and her team were ready and there for us every step of the way. They even had someone designated to making sure if I needed a drink, it was brought to me. Everyone has continued to rave to us about how amazing the food was , as wedding food can be quite "typical" but let me tell you, ours was full of flavor, not dry, and everyone loved it! During times of Covid, they kept the entire venue clean, staff wore face masks, and had hand sanitizer available everywhere. We felt very safe and clean. The venue itself is beautiful, I couldn't be happier with the breathtaking views of the arch and river. It truly is a one of a mind venue space that provides the rustic feelings I was wanting. Our daughter and son-in-law just had their reception at 612North Event Space. The venue was gorgeous with all the decorating set up!!! So many compliments on venue and food. The menu was like farm to table and served family style. Perfect! Nice change. And delicious! Christina and Duke were great to work with both before and during event. Made my job as mother of the bride so easy! They accommodated our family requests and made sure everything was satisfactory. The location is perfect. Backdrop is the Arch and the river. Made for lovely viewing. They were helpful during our setup which was a great relief. I would highly recommend the food, location and venue. The exposed bricks and beautiful wood floor added to the setting. My daughter and son-in-law are happy with their memories and that is what was important to us!! Parking was convenient for our guests. We had plenty of room for our band and for dancing. The tables were nicely spaced so that guests did not feel cramped. Everything very clean and in good working order. Their linens were fresh and clean and chairs were all sturdy and attractive. Christina was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process.  She replied to every question we emailed her promptly and professionally and was genuinely excited for us!  We received so many compliments on the room, the view, the food, the bar, the service, 612 even accommodated a special beer requests for my family. The whole staff went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the most magical evening of our lives. Seriously, it felt like something you can only dream of but never actually get to experience. None of this would have been possible however without Christina at 612. She was our assigned event coordinator and contact person and was worth choosing the venue alone! Seriously, she was born to do what she's does. Every crazy thought, question, or panicked changes I need to make, she made sure to address and make happen. The week leading up to the wedding we had what felt like almost half our guest list decide not to come due to the ever changing world we are living in and she made sure that stress was not on me with any accompanying changes that needed made. Then there's the food and drinks, just delicious and can you say hefty portion sizes! You're guests won't go hungry I promise you that :). Jose and I held our rehearsal dinner at 612 N and it was the most perfect event! We cannot say enough about this venue and the 612N team! Christina and her team were incredibly attentive to detail, our vision, and our budget from day one. They were by far the most accommodating venue we dealt with whether it was for the rehearsal dinner or reception. The team at 612N truly worked hard to accommodate our budget without making us feel like we couldn't have what we wanted. The culinary team worked with us to find something that not only satisfied our budget, but also our taste buds. Seriously, guests could not say enough about the food! At times, we were unsure about how big of a space we were getting, but the team assured us, through many different room layout drafts, that it would be perfect, and that it was. Additionally, the 612N team was so easy to communicate with. I never had to follow up on e-mails, worry about communication, or feel as if I was just another client. The 612N team was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Also, being an out of town bride, the team at 612N moved schedules around to be sure I was treated with the same service as any other in town bride. They made every effort, even if it was on a weekend, to be sure I was able to partake in a tasting and do any tours I needed. In fact, they even were able to squeeze in last minute tours for those coming in from out of town who wanted to see the space before hand. I truly cannot say enough about the services we received from 612N. I never had to worry about being stressed out because they had it all under control from day 1 and were often a step ahead in the planning process. Because of the many phone conversations, emails, in person meetings, and individualized attention, we truly felt like we were celebrating with family come the night of our rehearsal dinner and not just a host. If you want a breathtaking venue and a team that specializes in satisfying ANY budget, gives you all of their time and more, pays attention to your vision, needs, and detail, then 612N is your go to! Plus, the food was PHENOMENAL! We cannot thank the team at 612N enough for making our wedding weekend magical, stress free and one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. read more
