It was great no wait, our server Serena was very nice and attentive. Last time I was here, I had the Mimosa Flight which was excellent, unfortunately, too much to do, so we did not drink. We ordered the Mexicana Scrambler and the Chilaquilies. The dishes came out hot and looking fresh, but I have to say the taste was very blah (no taste). My friend and I must have used 1/2 bottle of hot sauce. Maybe it was an off day, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. Last time I was here, I had the Huevos Ranchero Hash which was fantastic. Amazing ambiance from the place. Great place for brunch/breakfast if you're in town for a birthday or bachelorette. The music/dj was popping and made us excited to party the rest of the day. The wait on Saturdays can be a little long, but it is so worth it as the atmosphere and experience is wonderful. My friends and I put our names on the list and we were told it would be about two hours. So, during that time we ran some errands and chilled at Starbucks across the street. Finally we received a text that our table was ready and we were quickly sat. The DJ was spinning old and new hits and we were dancing pretty much the entire time. Our waitress warmly greeted us and got us drinks. I started with their Capri Sun like drink, but it wasn't my jam, so I got their pineapple mimosa instead. It was very refreshing and was super easy to sip. To eat I decided on the potato tacos that came wrapped in a fried shell topped with an egg and green salsa. I love that I could customize my egg to be scrambled versus over easy as it was described on the menu. The tacos were delicious, but definitely needed some more spice as I asked for additional salsa. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach as I barely made it quarter through the tacos and I had to stop. They reheat well, so I ended up eating them for dinner. First time at this location and for a Sunday at 0830, it was the perfect time to get here (well certainly this weekend anyway). Party of 4. The place was pretty empty and it was before the DJ started. Service is great - friendly, quick and polite. Got our orders in and the food arrived quickly. The servings were so massive - if anything, just way too much. While waiting for our food, it shocked me how much was being taken away from the tables and back to the kitchen to waste.. while I get the "look" of 'value for money' by serving huge plates, it's an unnecessary waste of food.. We ordered the chilaquiles, avocado toast, carnitas hash, pork loin Benedict and a half size of the protein pancakes. No one finished their plate. I think the food here is absolutely great, and the menu reflects a good variety and quality, but quantity could be significantly less and still maintain the dynamic food they bring to the table. Ok let me just say I was a little concerned in seeing all the options I had in Arizona in comparison to what I'm accustomed to in South FL. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed with Hash Kitchen. The only downside is most places in Phoenix area does not take reservations for brunch and this place was no different from that aspect. However if you are looking for a place that has great service, food and music, this is a sure win in my books! The drinks were good overall. The only drink I didn't enjoy was the flight of Mimosas but everything else was great like the blueberry mimosa, Espress Yourself martini and the Goldfish. The star of the show for myself and I would have ordered it again and again if I could. The billionaire bacon was a near winner as well. It was perfect balance between slightly sweet taste but still didn't lose the gluttonous guilty feeling at the same time of having something so bad but so good at the same time. We went here on a Friday morning thinking it would be chill lol To our surprise, it was very busy and loud so just note that people are always ready to party haha Anyway, the food was ok. This is a party place. That is pretty obvious from the start. We had a table of 14 for a birthday and waited almost 2 hours for a table around 1100 on a Saturday. That's to be expected as they don't take reservations. Once seated we were in the middle of the restaurant on the back wall of fake greenery with the words Hash embossed on it. Wish I had taken more pictures, but was being more in the moment! The atmosphere was a party almost night club feel. It was packed! They had a DJ playing music and it was bumping! I mean loud! We all had various drinks from the Build Your Own Bloody Mary(which now comes with like a lunchable pack of toppings), the glitter bowl, the IV Bags, to a mega mimosa which includes a bottle of champagne and a glittery cup. The drinks are the main attraction as this is a social media gold mine as opposed to a solid restaurant. You're coming for the selfie's the music and the cocktails. The food was mediocre nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about. I had the Short Rib Burrito. Like I said it was ok. The waitress asked if I was fine with over medium eggs and I was, but they were scrambled which was expected. The meat was good. I'd say more like pot roast then short rib. The wife had the Chicken and Waffles. They came covered in fried leeks, but were kinda flavorless if not for the maple syrup. It was so hard to choose what to eat but we ended up going with the lemon ricotta pancakes and the carnitas hash. The pancakes came with sides of whipped butter, vanilla mascarpone, and syrup. It comes with four pancakes that were so fluffy and lemony. Sometimes you get lemon ricotta pancakes that don't have enough lemon in them, but these were perfect. The carnitas hash was equally large in portion... I recommend getting the eggs over easy so you get some of that yolk dribbling over. They are not skimpy on the meat and it was a melody of flavor. And the food looked great. We were seated inside pretty quickly but we did notice the wait to get in picked up on our way out. I got the hazelnut latte, which was delicious. We ordered the bananas foster French toast to share amongst the 3 of us. It was delicious but definitely sweet. The strawberries and blueberries tasted fresh. Very cute small place my mom and I tried for breakfast and coffee while I was in town visiting some family and friends on a recent trip to Phoenix. Service was slow with everyone including the host/hostess, server, and busser. We had to flag down and initiate contact with staff on multiple occasions.
