I've been to various Hash Kitchen locations and they always impress! First time at the Arcadia location and I enjoyed the openness of the room and the view of the bar and bloody marry bar. We went on a Wednesday afternoon to avoid the weekend brunch rush and we were seated and served right away. They have a nice menu with quite a selection, but I could not resist the Herb Fried Chicken! I've ordered the hash version over potatoes a few times, so this time I got the Herb Fried Chicken and waffle and my friend got the Herb Fried Chicken eggs benedict and a side of bacon. There's really no wrong way to eat it! The chicken is flavorful and crunchy and is the perfect salty to pair with a sweet waffle. And WOW the fried onions on top are the light, crunchy, sweet, delicious chef kiss on top. A must try! Somehow I resisted the temptation of the mimosa flight, but there's always next time :). $40 for two meals, one side, and one can of illy cold brew. read more

You may want to plan to share or order different items so everyone can dig in. The Effin Big English Muffin sandwich is offensively big, as the name suggests, and really just a lot of bread. The brunch sliders were worth recommending, as are the skillets, as our table had a few varieties. It's decent food, meant for fun, and it delivers on that. Super fun brunch place. My friend and I stopped by on a Friday around 12:30pm and this place was PACKED. However, because it was the two of us, we were seated immediately. Food is good, and drinks are visually over the top but their taste is left to be determined. There was a live DJ, and plenty of wall decals reminding you you're here to #brunch. Drinks: Their menu boasts a huge array of flights (mimosa, cereal shooters, etc), CBD infused drinks (ahhhh the hash makes sense now), Capri sun pouches, Prosecco via a flamingo, and so much more. The drinks themselves ranged from good to ok, but the delivery was definitely top notch and I appreciated how creative they were. The mimosa flight was good (OG OJ, strawberry, peach, and pineapple) - fruity but also not light-handed on the bubbles. The cereal shooters were a little unusual - think lukewarm cereal milkshakes of varying alcoholic strengths. The group of four in the mix were Captain Crunch, Coco Puffs, Fruity Pebbles, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I think the idea is great, but execution/taste was a little off mark. We also got a Coco Cooler Capri Sun, a bright blue drink in a pouch - again, fun looking drink but pretty watered down. Although we didn't partake in the Bloody Mary bar, it looked like a Bloody Mary lover's dream - toppings and combo galore! Food: We got the Notorious Burger and the Carne Asade Breakfast Burrito. Both were good but nothing out of the ordinary. I can see the wait being super long on weekends. The food portions are huge. I got the corn beef poutine and it was not really that flavorful. The cheese curds were literally maybe just one small glob on the side of the skillet. The French toast was delicious though. This place is like a club for brunchers! What I mean is that they have a dj and it is loud so you'll need to yell at the folks you came in with if you need to chat. HOWEVER, where Hash loses a star for me is that even though we went on a Friday, the DJ was alive and well at 9am. The music was BLARING and it was the most obnoxious setting trying to have a chill brunch. My friends came from across the country and I could barely hear them because the music was so loud at 9am. Call me a grandma, but that is way too early to be blaring music. I moved here from Ohio and I've noticed that many Scottsdale brunch spots do this. It's such a massive turnoff to me. I asked the manager if there was opportunity to turn the volume down, and he assured me there was. I did see him approach the booth, but nothing happened. While this place had a heavy Instagram feel to it, the food was actually great. I had the Birria Hash, which was incredible: breakfast potatoes were topped with beef birria stew, which was then topped with eggs and corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, which was all topped with eggs. This was so delicious and flavorful, it kept me full for the remainder of the day. I also split an order of the Cannoli Donuts, which were very good - they were perfectly sweet and tasted great. I get so excited every time I come to Hash Kitchen. I always get the mimosa flight because they are just that good. The flight includes a classic orange mimosa, blueberry, strawberry, and a kiwi one.
