The place is cute, trendy, and while the menus and everything on the table was dirty, we were able to look past that. We got a build your own Bloody Mary for the wife and a couple breakfast items. There was a ton of items you could add to the drink, even fried ravioli giant meatballs and bacon. Building it was fun, though my wife stated that the items added and the drink were meh at best. Fingers crossed for breakfast hit that hope was quickly crushed. We got a couple sad plates put before us. For all the glitz and glam in the restaurant they forgot to put that effort in the meals. It was the smallest eggs Benedict in the middle of a plate. No garnish. My wife's "hash" was anything but. It was dry and flavorless. We saw a few other plates come out. Some were beautiful and others just like ours. Super inconsistent but I guess if you're downing bloody Mary's it wouldn't matter. read more

Vibes on vibes on vibes!!! I wish every brunch spot was this upbeat and energetic. The combination of brunch + DJ + mimosas just make brunch one of my favorite times of the day, especially here. This place has you feel like your at the club but in the day time lol. The live Dj plays amazing music, food comes out fast and is amazing, and the kids meals are huge!! The only downfall is we waited over an hour to be seated but that's the be expected from what I hear, and they don't accept reservations either. This restaurant is part of a chain and they all have amazing reviews which is why we had to check it out. read more

Garbage service. Sat for 30 min, watched new people come in and get their food before our order was taken. I had to stand up and approach 3 employees standing talking to each other just to get coffee. Extremely disappointed. It wasn't very busy either. read more

It seemed the waitress kept pressuring for us to pay and leave. Also there is a large board at the entrance asking to scan and download the app, but then when we requested for the canoli donuts that are supposed to be available with app download- well the waitress said the offer is only valid in Utah. So why advertise it at the entrance?! The blood Mary was fairly dilute. Overall mediocre experience. read more

We are from Colorado and came here for two days for brunch so that tells you how much we liked it. We especially loved that they have a DJ who played some great music! Really added to the vibe. We didn't try the Bloody Mary bar but it was huge and seemed very popular! Overall the food was good, but we would especially come back for the ambiance and drinks! read more

We were there bright and early at 7am for a breakfast meal and it was already starting to get busy. 1. The brunchalida hash was very filling, the chorizo was not overpowering and blended well with the cheese and egg present. Would have preferred a little more flavor/spice 2. Hazelnut latte- amazing!!! Coffee was blended smoothly and the syrup used was mild. 3. Cannolis- you have to try them when you are here! Felt very light and airy, perfect dish to share as a dessert. The service was wonderful and attentive. The music could be turned down a touch to facilitate conversation but overall a great experience. read more

We visited Hash Kitchen on a Friday morning with a group of eight, and it was PACKED. We were told it was going to be an hour wait, but it only took about 15 minutes. We started with mimosas and bloody marys. The mimosas were good, but the bloody marys were out-of-this-world spicy! We all ordered something different, and every person in our party absolutely loved their meal. The portion sizes are very large; definitely enough for two meals. Our experience at Hash Kitchen was all around amazing. Bree the manager was instantly so welcoming and accommodating and had the most contagious, upbeat attitude. Our server was great and even the girl that brought our food (reddish hair with glasses) was so kind and paused to have a conversation with us. I came here because of the Yelp reviews. I walked in and was skeptical that this place was gonna have good drinks and mediocre food. It was going to be trendy and gimmicky. Maaaannnn... can't nobody tell me nothing about this spot lol. What drew me in was I wanted a breakfast spot with cocktails. I can't remember the drinks name, it was a new one to the menu, but I can tell you it was yummy and went down like a big glass of red kool aid, full of ice, on a hot summer day when kids still played outside all day. The food, every bite was worth every pound I'm sure it gave me and every penny spent. It looked good, tasted good and left me fighting with my stomach on how much more we could fit. Get the Potato skins Benedict! Even if you want something else, get this! So much flavor, pork so tender, every ingredient complimenting eachother. Yes yes yes! read more

It's kinda hard to ignore Hash Kitchen considering one can hear it from down the road. They blast dance music louder than most Las Vegas nightclubs but the noise level is tolerable if you sit outside. The food is good but not great. It might just be an off day when my wife and I went. Hard to say. Overall, the food was lacking moisture. Everything we ordered could have used more sauce. So for them to earn 5 stars from me, they'd need to turn down the music and add more sauce to their dishes. read more

I met up with my bestie for brunch and ended up at Hash Kitchen for the first time. Now I've heard good and bad things about this place and I must say my experience was great. From the food to the service, I have no complaints. I ordered the breakfast potato tacos with a lemonade on the side. Chefs kiss. My girl friend got the Huevos Rancheros of course I sampled and that was also delicious. She suggests the chili chilaquiles next time and I prefer to try everything on the menu next time it was all so good. Great portion sizes and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back. read more

This seemed like the place to go for brunch in Phoenix so my husband and I decided to try it while visiting for a few days. We shared: - Herb Fried Chicken Benedict - Banana Split French Toast I think the Benedict only came with one egg on it because my half didn't have any egg. That made it fairly dry because there was almost no sauce. The chicken was seasoned well. The French toast was good, but it was pretty bready because of how thick the bread was. Overall, the food was just ok for me, but the worst part about it was that it was basically a club. The music was so loud you could hear it down the block. Thankfully, they have outdoor seating or I would have left. Even outside, the music from inside was too loud. I think this spot is for people looking for a party scene which is not what I'm looking for in a restaurant. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and excellent food here! This place is loud with a live DJ- we enjoyed the 2000s hip hop. The door/entry isn't the best as far as waiting and attempting to get your table, however we went Saturday morning so it was busy. We acutely didn't wait longer than 10ish mins past our res. time, which was nice. *When securing a reservation on line in advance- it pretty much means you'll be added to the waitlist once checked in; the hostesses are very nice and work hard to seat guests in a timely manner. The portions are big- I would think most entrees can be split between two people. The pineapple upside down pancakes were insanely big and delicious- would be great for a table share plate. Pork chop hash was very hearty with nice flavor and spice! They have a killer BYO bloody bar- I didn't take full advantage of it like I should have so will definitely go back for that again! And I saw their croissant breakfast sandwich on our way out- I HAVE to get myself one of those some time! read more

My cousin listed HK as one of his Top 6 favorites during a recent visit for Spring Training and when I saw the menu and pics I knew we had to brunch here ASAP. Monica greeted us and took us to a nice outside table with our beloved schnoodle and the party started quick with a spicy, fairly strong and memorable Bloody Mary. For $4 more you can build your own and really trick it out but I knew I should pace myself. I got the Hangover Hash $19 slow chile-braised beef / jalapeño cornbread & potato hash / mozzarella / poached eggs / fried onion rings / demi hollandaise It was truly exceptional. One of the best brunches ever. On the level of Cali/Vegas staple "hash house a go go" as good if not better. I could only finish half. Can't wait for lunch leftovers later today :) I noticed some people talk about the vibe inside. On a Monday it was PACKED at noon. It was great that we got to sit outside. Definitely more relaxing. We will absolutely return and I already told my boys who are touring Scottsdale this weekend. Great work to to the HK team and thanks for a wonderful first experience! I'm going to give out fewer 5 stars in the future because this is the gold standard in terms of service and quality of food. read more

Food was alright, but loved the vibe more. I could have totally made a party out of it with the DJ playing. No one seemed as syked for the music vibe but me. Just a normal week day for them and I was on vaca :-) The bloody Mary bar was massive, but I'm real boring with my drinks. Glad I got the biscuits. They came in handy on our drive to Sedona. I wouldn't go for the food. Maybe Sunday Funday for music vibes and drinks when I have nothing to do after. Lol read more

I'd like to give a shout out to the staff at this Hash Kitchen location! I stopped in for breakfast and sat at the bar. The bartender asked me what brought me in and I told him that my wife was at the hospital having an 8 hour brain surgery that morning and I was starving so I was going to eat and go back to the hospital. We chatted for a bit and then my food came. Everything was great and I reached fort my wallet and ask for the check. The bartender said "We took care of your bill this morning." I was a little stunned and he said, "You've got a lot on your plate this morning so hopefully this makes it a bit easier." This little gesture went a long way today. Really fun vibe, the staff was so kind and attentive. If you are hungover, avoid this place as the DJ is LOUD and the music is bumping but super fun in general. The Bloody Mary bar was to die for, I don't like them but this made me try again! The food was perfect, nothing special but really good and quality. Bloody Mary bar was definitely a top tier experience, we filled ours up with all sorts of fun toppings, would definitely recommend for those who love these! Came here on a a Saturday afternoon with a friend for brunch. Service was horrible, I mean seriously we had been sitting for so long without getting help and it took 25 minutes to put drink orders in. Then we had to ask for menus on top of that. Very frustrating but the food//drinks made up for the service. I ordered the chicken tinga frittata it was pretty good. & I had the kendall drink which was also solid. Stopped in with my friend today. We were looking forward to trying this spot as I've heard good things. The side of bacon I got was awesome although for three pieces they charged $7. I could have gone to Whole Foods and bought an entire pack of bacon for that but the pineapple upside down pancakes are gross. There were no cherries either. They tasted like wheat, if any flavor at all. I never get pancakes because they are really hit or miss and they missed HARD today. I took one bite and they were not good - I didn't eat them and was not charged for them. Presentation was nice but flavorless. The waitress was charming and the taste of the food wasn't her fault. It was too loud (good music, just too loud) and pretty overstimulating. My friend loved her barria hash but I'm disappointed I spent $36 at a loud "trendy" spot for nothing, sadly. read more

Service was the more than you can ask for. Atmosphere has a cool vibe and the food menu is gives you more than the traditional breakfast choices. The outdoor bar option is a cool place to hang out. What really stands out from other breakfast/brunch spots is the service. If you're not singing along with the music, your body is dancing in your seat. read more

We reserved a table online and was told it would be a 20-25 minute wait, we drive there, then we are told the system is wrong and the wait would be over 2 hours. We had a big party and drove a decent way out to get here for no reason at all. The worst part is they said this has been an ongoing issue with multiple parties. This could've been solved simply by turning off the online reservation feature they have set up.. read more

Update: fall 2023 I am usually such a Hash Kitchen advocate. When someone says brunch, I suggest Hash. When someone is looking for a brunch, i recommend Hash, etc. However, after my most recent visit, I think it's time to explore the multitude of other Brunch options Phoenix had to offer. As I've stated in other reviews, I often try to steer away from basics and try unique offerings or things I can't try everyday in Tucson. This is the first time it failed me. I got the Bling Bling Blintz and immediately regretted it when I saw it. The texture of the crepes was soft as you would expect but the flavor of the interior was not sweet enough to bring it together. I thought the strawberry portion would be mixed inside but instead served only as the tiniest bit of rescue for every bite I could throw back. This is a dish I honestly would have sent back as I don't feel they should be serving this, but I decided not to since I decided I was trying something new. I think the server knew too which is why she didn't even ask about it. It just wasn't good at all and seemed very low bar for this establishment. As a parent, I find this extremely disappointing and frustrating. Families with infants should not have to struggle this much just to find a safe and accessible place to change their baby. I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses these issues, as the experience left us feeling very unwelcome and frustrated.

We recently celebrated my sister's birthday with a family brunch at this restaurant, and while the overall vibe was enjoyable--definitely a nice atmosphere for a special occasion--there were several issues that detracted from our experience. To start, the customer service left much to be desired. Our waiter was not only slow in bringing drinks but also seemed rather rude throughout our meal, which put a damper on the celebration. We had to send back three plates of food due to them being undercooked, which is quite unusual for us, as we typically try to make the best of our meals. However, undercooked food is a serious concern and cannot be overlooked. I decided to try the potato tacos, but I was frankly disappointed. Despite our confirmed reservation, we were not seated until 30+ minutes later because the staff refused to ask the previous party--who were well past their time limit--to vacate the table. Every 15 minutes, we were told it would be "just a little longer," only to be pushed back again and again. I can't say enough about the entrees I've had: there's the Sicilian with sausage, peppers, and onions; Christina's Tamale Cakes with corn cakes, green chili pork, and green chili hollandaise; avocado toast at Hash is like none other (plan on leftovers); and my friend had the smoked salmon benedict. I recently got recommended Hash Kitchen by a colleague of mine and decided I would check it out to see what it was all about. I went a few weeks ago with my husband and some friends and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. There was valet parking and we were seated pretty quickly. After being seated our server Adrianna came to introduce herself right away and let us know a little about the restaurant. When choosing what to eat I was in the air about what I wanted to get and Adrianna recommended the Hash style avocado toast. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was and the quality of all the ingredients included. Overall it was a great experience with awesome food and an amazing server. I recently went to hash kitchen with some friends of my girlfriend and I for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I have been to many different breakfast restaurants around Arizona and after coming to Hash I can say with confidence that it is one of the best places in the state. The service is amazing and our server Adrianna got to us almost right after we were seated. She also recommended the Birria which is something that I have never tried before but after eating it I can say that it was one of the best meals I have ever had. She also recommended me the bloody mary to drink which was awesome because they also had a bloody mary bar! I have been going to Hash Kitchen for a few months now and it has transformed into one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots. The food, service, atmosphere, and drinks are truly amazing and I can see myself coming here forever. On my last visit my server Adrianna recommended me something I had never tried before which was the Hangover Hash. It was one of the best breakfast meals I had ever had in my life and was truly amazing. My server Adrianna was also so kind and always checking up on me throughout my meal to see if I needed anything else. When looking for breakfast restaurants one morning my girlfriend and I came across Hash Kitchen and decided to give it a try. Arriving at the restaurant I felt a great atmosphere with a live DJ playing some awesome tunes. After being seated we were greeted right away by our server Adrianna. Adrianna gave us some great recommendations about some of the items on the menu and I decided to get the Chicken Drum Pop Hash and my girlfriend got the Carnitas Hash. The meal was fantastic and the food was definitely the best quality I have had at a breakfast spot in a while. This place was straight wow factor! The host of our air bnb recommended it and just wow! We stopped in today for a late breakfast and loved every aspect. My wife had the carnitas hash and I had the short rib burrito and both were so tasty! My wife had a cool mimosa flight and I stuck with black coffee, can't go wrong. Great atmosphere too. Shut out to the manager Matt, I think his name was, for stopping by and being personable, along with our server Christian! He was on top of everything with our experience! We had our first visit at Hash Kitchen Arcadia today. By far the best breakfast spot in Arizona! Our visit started with a visit from the amazing manager Hannah, she was so sweet and accommodating. She made us feel right at home with the delicious billionaire's bacon and amazing mega glitter bomb mimosa! Our server Adriana was so sweet, she got everything perfect and gave us the best service we have ever had. Dining there multiples times with or without reservations. Always had a pleasant experience and the restaurant has great setting. The wonderful interior and has lovely decor. The service was pretty prompt. The staff was friendly too and get seated as quickly and efficiently as possible. They have excellent quality of food. Everything was well-prepared and very appetizing. I have been coming to hash kitchen for a couple years now with my wife and it is some of the best breakfast dining in Arizona. I love everything on the menu and am yet to have a meal that I do not like. The service is also amazing and every time I go my server is nice and able to answer any questions I may have. On my most recent visit my server Adrianna was so friendly and she recommended me the Chilaquiles which is something I had not yet tried previously. So went for the fist time today for lunch. Had the donuts to start but took over 10 minutes to get When we got it the donuts themselves smelled of Old oil and they were heavy and tasted like fried bread I got the potato taco but when they came it was nothing like the description in the menu. Out of the 2 Hash Kitchen locations that I have been to in the valley I would have to say that the Arcadia location is my favorite. I recently came in about a month ago with some friends on a Saturday and it was an amazing vibe throughout the restaurant. The DJ was playing awesome music and everyone throughout the restaurant had a smile on their face. My server Adrianna was also super helpful with explaining some items on the menu as well as giving me some great recommendations. Service was on point but... with so much hype and long lines I was completely in shock by my eggs Benedict. The muffin was not toasted and straight out the bag, no butter, a tiny piece of ham and drizzle of Hollandaise sauce. I asked for more butter and sauce but should have sent back. See the thing is restaurants have new employees or nights maybe half the staff calls out sick. PLEASE do not do what I did above. Tell the server you are unhappy with the food. I love coming to Hash Kitchen with my wife every weekend and it has become one of our favorite breakfast spots. The staff are friendly and the food is actually phenomenal. I recently went to hash kitchen this last Wednesday and I was excited to try it out with some of my good friends that told me about how great of a restaurant it was. I got there and sat at the bar with my friends and we had to wait about 20 minutes to be greeted by the bartender who wasn't doing anything. He was then super rude and acted annoyed to be serving us. The drinks he made were horrible and honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a bar. They gave us different dishes, so we were able to try almost the entire menu--from the steak tartare and yellowtail aquachile to strawberry/tomato, asparagus, chicken croquette, branzino, chicken, and two knock out desserts. Every course was outstanding, and the portions left us perfectly full. We also splurged on the wine pairing, and Zac, the wine director, absolutely nailed it. Every pairing elevated the meal. The most surprising part? The tasting menu hasn't gone up in price since they opened in 2017. They could easily charge three times as much, and we'd gladly pay it. Incredible food, incredible service, and an unbelievable value. We can't wait to come back.
