AMAZING spot to watch football. The staff was so incredibly fun and kind. The food was AMAZING, we got the salt and pepper wings with the buffalo sauce on the side. They were AMAZING and they have the best buffalo sauce I have had in a long time. The fries were good as well. We also got the pretzel with cheese and it was the perfect game day. We would 10/10 recommend and we can't wait to go back. The friendly staff definitely made football Sunday so much fun. read more

BEST MAI TAI IN HAWAII!!! Do not eat or drink at the resorts. Make your way via convenient trolley stop to Fairway Shops and eat and drink here instead. Claire is an amazing bartender and won't let you down. Great local vibe and perfect place to hang. Don't waste your time or money at the resorts when you can have an amazing meal here instead. I don't review often but this place was worth it. Trust me! Make a stop here. read more

The fish tacos and tropical mahi bowl were excellent. And fantastic French fries. Staff was friendly and fun vibe. Also great drinks - I tried the Mai Tai and the Lilikoi mule. read more

Relaxed vibe with great food and fun drinks! Happy Fish is a 10 out of 10! We took a pleasant 15 minute walk over from the overpriced Kaanapali resort scene and we're so glad we did! Server was happy and helpful. Shaka shrimp was delicious to start.. Mai tai w/POG in the tiki glass was fun! My smash burger was juicy even without pickles and hubby had the Mahi special. They had run out of the lumpia banana ice cream dessert so we'll save that for next time!! Can't wait! read more

This is a fun place, with cool decorations. Everyone is super friendly even if they are just passing by. My favorite thing we got to eat were the brisket, bao buns. The drinks were worthy and at a great happy hour price. read more

On a whim we went for a later dinner and tried out Happy Fish. Casual sports bar with a great vibe. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice break from the crazy resort prices. Started with the Shaka shrimp app and it was delicious. Good quantity and shrimp were cooked perfectly and crunchy tasty exterior. I had the Mahi rice bowl and my hubby had the smashed burger with truffle fries. Really enjoyed the Lil Ginger drink too. So happy we found the place. Definitely would like to go back. read more

Food was slightly above average, but prices were decent. Service was really slow but friendly. It's a great atmosphere if you want to get a drink and watch a game. read more

Great spot with lots of TVs. Drinks were great and so was the bartender. Seems like a locals place

I wish we had discovered this place at the beginning of our trip because we would have come here multiple times! It sits in a small strip mall in front of Kaanapali near Whalers village. The vibe is SO cute. It's an elegant trendy vibe, but also has a sports bar feel to it. Super friendly people and a great diverse menu. read more

Nice bar type atmosphere with 14+ TVs. Food is good and served quickly. Staff is friendly.

We noticed this shop while next door at Island Coffee because we saw an honest looking, presumably hard working man walk up to the gate to open up shop. We looked it up and saw the good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We walked in around 1 pm on a Monday and were able to find seats right away (it's open seating). Our visit happened during their happy hour, which runs from 11am-5pm. We ended up ordering the mahi fish tacos. The tacos were excellent and come in generous portions. We also ordered the shrimp starter but it was too much food so we took that home to enjoy later. However, my husband tried it while it was still hot & fresh and said it was delicious too. Highly recommend this place! read more

Our server Claire was amazing! She was so lovely and welcoming. The food was so good - we loved the burger sliders, shaka shrimp, and shishito peppers! Definitely will be coming back. Lots of TVs to watch games too! read more

Solid spot to watch sports if you're trying to find something a bit more interesting than your typical sports bar. Lots of tv's, they play games with sound. Good drinks! Can't speak to the food as we didn't order any, but the menu looked solid. Would definitely come back again! read more

Everything was delicious! Service was great and the staff is so nice. My husband had the salmon and I had a uni salad. We highly recommend Happy Fish! read more

my wife and I had the fish tacos and the smash burger. It was good. We loved it. Fish tacos was nice. Save your taste. Veggies were fresh smash burger was also mean nice but I prefer just the burger a little bit up size because I think I could finish the burger bite itself. read more

The concierge at Westin Nanea had recommended the Happy Hour at Happy Fish. They usually have Happy Hour from 3-5 PM but with March Madness, it was from Noon to 5 PM. As we entered, the restaurant was a live and noisy as patrons were rooting for their team playing in the tournament. The bar tender was very friendly and a great host. We ordered 2 mai tais with 3 lava flow. The drinks were fabulous and was NOT watered down because of Happy Hour. The bar tender made recommendations from the HH menu. We ordered their buffalo wings, fish (ono) and chips, fried calamari and their shrimp. The food was plentiful and DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend Happy Fish for Happy Hour or dinner. They do serve breakfast as well. We had planned to come back for dinner but after eating at 4 PM, we were still stuffed when dinner time came around. read more

Our food and drinks were great along with our service from our waitress Cooper. We came in to scope out the venue for a 70+ person event in early 2026 and the waitress told us twice she was getting the GM. We overheard him stating he did not want to come speak with us and we can just get info and call whenever. It was not a great look that the GM couldn't give a second to say it himself but had the time to look at our table several times and make the situation more awkward. We were excited to scope it out but due to this will not be booking the event with them. read more

Order line -1 felt the lady behind the counter very condescending 2- cold vibe- not inviting at all 3- asked for a specific kind of white wine and got something else- if you don't have it just say so! 4- big wall out front makes it super un inviting 5- brought guests - none of us will be back! 6- 22. Sandwich - no servers - want a 15-25% tip 7. There was a person clearing tables - she was the only positive thing about the place. I hope the full tip goes to her. Sorry! Do better. I realize it's a sports bar but sports bars are usually allot friendlier. Date was Thursday May 15th. read more

We were a little skeptical about trying Happy Fish. The curb appeal of the restaurant was a bit blah and doesn't give off vibes that this place would serve good food but were we ever wrong. We first tried their happy hour and I had the smash burger. It was delicious. It tasted/smelled like the burger was grilled over charcoal. Someone else in our party had the fish tacos and really enjoyed that as well. We came back a couple of days later to try their breakfast and that did not disappoint. The savory waffle & chickens, strawberry pancakes, breakfast burrito, sausage omelette and avocado toast were ALL excellent AND the prices are so reasonable! The breakfast potatoes were a highlight and grilled nice and crispy and super tender on the inside. Wow! They also have "fizzy" water on tap for free! We really enjoyed eating here and look forward to going back. Not sure why all the hotel guests down the street aren't packing this place. Everyone needs to give Happy Fish Maui a try. read more

This place is awesome! Food is good and the vibes even better. Their drinks are on point and the prices are excellent. This place just made me happy, put it on your list of places to hit. read more

The resaurant was very nice. Exquisite dishes and good ambiance. We enjoyed every bite, service is outstanding.

Loved this place! Bummed we tried it on our last night! I would have been there more often. Don't let the strip mall deter you! Great food! The service was amazing! Justin and Cecil at the bar were the best!!!! read more

Very disappointing: Food was very good, but not very happy. Receptionist seemed bored and not very helpful. No wait staff . We order and take a number to the table, For the same price as a more service oriented restaurant. One would think the owner/manager would hire a person to go around to check on the service, especially the first month open. The marquee is very annoying: a bright sign with plastic letters on an otherwise nice building. read more

Fish and chips were delicious! Service was mediocre. The house margarita was so so.

Excellent dinner. All the fish dinners for the 6 of us were perfect! Waitress was exceptional and very fun.

First of all, you cannot beat their happy hour menu. The sliders were wonderful the shrimp oh my gosh everybody orders the shrimp and the my ties the best $11 my ties around with foam and everything on top so good there's televisions on there if you wanna watch a sport game The trolley and Maui drops you right off in front of the place can't go wrong read more

Service is horrible. Food is decent at best. There are better places to go for much better service and ambiance. Don't go.

Food is nice- great service and decent price - we will come back - nice ambience - recommend drinks there too

Customer service sucks. There aren't even that many customers and servers see us sitting at a table, but never come to get our orders. Should've eaten at Round Table Pizza next door. read more

My friend and I went with a recommendation from a waiter at a restaurant we went to. When we got to the bar, the bartender was very rude and would not even look at us when we asked for a second drink we had to wave him down.
