We came in for a quick lunch and we were captivated be this place. It is a small bar and grill facing the Sugar Beach Resort. It has a full bar and sandwiches. The people there recomend the Clam Chowder (buy the were sold out by the time we arrived). I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi with Pasta Salad and my wife had the Ruben on Rye with Potato Salad. Both selections were outstanding and we plan on returning again.

Great casual bar, deli next door with dogs, sandwiches and more. Service ok, a bit slow, but it's Kihei! Prices are a bit pricy, but it's Maui. Wide variety of menu options from hot dogs, saimin, shrimp cocktail, peel n' eat shrimp, sliders, wings, quesadillas, nachos and sandwiches from egg salad, club, Rueben, wraps, roast beef, turkey and Spam. We came in kinda late, they close at 10P, but looked like a cool hangout casual bar. Service was really slow, I think the workers just wanted to go home. $16 for a grilled cheese, I would have expected something better, hubs had a kraut dog, he said was ok.

Amazing atmosphere and a wonderful bartender wish I lived in Maui so I can go daily! Excellent drinks!!! Aloha

Noice. Kind of a hole in the wall in the best way possible. I've seen this place super packed so I always try to call in my order since I'm a takeout kind of guy when it comes to solo sandwiches... Reuben is legit with corn beef stacked with plenty of sauerkraut on Rye with Swiss and the perfect amount of 1000. 10/10 recommend.

This quirky little spot is located near Sugar Beach at the very beginning of Kihei so it's closer to central Maui than you think. It's kind of hidden in the back of some shops so If you see a formal wear shop you're in the right place. This place is small with a full bar! The walls and ceiling are covered in dollar bills that have been written on. They have a wide selection of sandwiches as well as bar food like wings and nachos. We got the Hoagie with homemade potato salad and the nachos. You can also get pasta salad with the sandwiches. The hoagie size was big enough to share. In addition to lettuce, tomato, and onions, it had sprouts in it and a dill pickle on the side. It was a great sandwich! The nachos were big. I only wish it could be ordered with meat. We really enjoyed this place and it will be one of our regular spots. The best thing is that it's open until 10 pm which is rare on Maui!

Came in for a late Saturday lunch and walked right into a table. There were 4 of us. They had a lunch special of turkey and bacon on wheat with lettuce, tomatoes and ranch- two of us ordered the special, one tuna and a French dip (roast beef). Three of us had potato salad and one macaroni salad. Everyone was impressed and that is hard to do. I also ordered a lava flow-mmmmmm. The bar is divy and easy going. Provided free WiFi. Waitress/bartender is older women and very friendly. The place got packed as we ate and the waitress kept up with it and still was polite. Imagine that!!!! Whole place has dollars with drawings on the walls. Will be back!

I haven't had many lavo flows but this place is #1 to me! It's a small little bar with only 1 bartender but she's fast at making drinks and delivering them! I love their wall decor that has decorated $1 dollar bills. We had many rounds of drinks and they were all so good and strong.

Small hole in where wall restaurant locally owned. Daily specials if you want something tasty and quick. Kooky ambience. Everything was delicious and service was friendly. Yummy Mai tais. Small place nothing fancy but different.

    Great little find!

Very cute place with the most friendly staff - so glad we stopped in! We ordered thee creamy Blue Hawaiians which were a super treat!

turkey croissant with potato salad and a pickle slice! super yummy

Sandwiches were on point. Loved that the decor around the facility was all $1 bills that had their own writing and quirkiness to it. Super cool. Service was decent.. our server seemed to be in pain so I'll excuse the rude prescence and the fact that she was the only one serving tables and taking orders for multiple parties. Where's the rest of the staff? :/ Order the potato salad- it's creamy and delicious and everything a potato salad should be!

We ordered 3 items from the Happy Hour Menu: Tuna Crunch, Sunomono, and Kimchi Dip. Tuna Crunch and Sunomono was my favorite. The Tuna Crunch had garlic chips, chili crunch, and ponzu sauce poured over table side. The Sunomono looked simple with a stack of cucumbers but it also had the most addictive sauce of Garlic Tamari, Chili Crunch and Micro Cilantro. The Kimchi Dip was delicious but I'm not a huge fan of Yorkshire Puddings and would rather had crostini's or bread for dipping. My cousin ordered an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan and he said the drinks were made real good. Another cousin and I opted for Alcohol free drinks, my cousin had one with grapefruit and I enjoyed my "martini" with mango and lilikoi (passion fruit). The Signature Sushi Rolls were delicious. We shared the Anuenue (Rainbow) which included Crab, Ahi, Salmon, Hamachi and Ebi and the Nani (Beautiful) which included Spicy Salmon, Cucumber, Avocado, Yakiniku Sauce, Sweet Soy and Micro Greens. We also ordered the Katsu Pork Belly which our bartender recommended. There's 6 crispy pieces atop Rice, Katsu Sauce, Cabbage and Japanese Curry Mayo. My cousin got the Hot Rock Maui Nui Venison Striploin which was cooked on the Hot Rock for 15 seconds per side and served with 4 Homemade Tortillas and Shiso Chimichurri. Overall, food was pretty good but of course quite expensive and located on a tourist spot. Thankful for Kamaaina discount and the beautiful sunset views!

We shared dishes that featured Truffle Fries, Prime Rib Steak bites, Pipikaula Jerky, a Kampachi Filet and Fettuccine Alfredo. Cocktails were good, but nothing too special. Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants on Maui, recommend you try one of those.

Located across the street from the Shops at Wailea, they are situated on the second floor of a smaller shopping complex and have a lot of open air seating. With all the doors open, even the indoor seating has good ventilation. The food was outstanding - every dish was bursting with flavor and contrasting textures. Make sure to listen for the numerous daily specials. My favorite dishes of the night were probably the starters and the desserts. One of the starters was a special - ahi sashimi with shaved hearts of palm, citrus, micro greens, and some sort of spicy oil - so it had elements of salt, sweet, tart, and spicy with softness, crunch, and chew. Even my vegetable, sauce, and garnish hating daughter absolutely loved this dish. The calamari was also a standout - the breading was crispy and had a nice kick to it. We ordered the ahi entree as well, and it was also delicious, as was the cauliflower, which visually wasn't that appealing since it wasn't roasted, but it was absolutely delicious. Dessert options were communicated verbally by our server (they must change frequently). We opted for the ginger molasses cake, which was suffused with ginger flavor and doused in a ginger-infused syrup - like a sticky toffee cake but better. The vanilla bean panna cotta was also delicious - a more delicate dessert - though the strawberries were not the sweetest. Service was great and attentive when we first arrived at 5:30. As the restaurant got busier, it became harder to find our server. We waited for quite a while after we finished our dinner. Fortunately, they had a lot of people attending to the tables and when we asked them for a dessert menu, they were able to track down our server. All in all, a fantastic dinner. We are excited to add this restaurant to our Wailea list and look forward to returning upon our next visit.

We took the pizzas home, and they were delicious. Our favorite was the sweet kalua. It was not overly barbecuey or sweet, but actually pretty savory. The margherita pizza was good too. In general, their pizza stands out because there is not too much crust. It was not crispy, but instead airy and on the doughy side. The reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because one of our group members found a blonde hair baked into his pizza slice, not just sitting on top. That was disappointing, especially since the pizza itself was actually very good.
