Lovely cocktail bar that conveniently converts into a small club later at night. When we stopped by there were barely any folks and within 30 mins that place was buzzing with locals and tourists alike. The cocktails here were fabulous and wish we could stay longer but the music was too loud to even sit and have a drink. While its a cool spot it is not my vibe but I will stop by for cocktails for sure. Cheers!

This place is as magical as a unicorn eating an all beef hotdog wrapped in fried bologna. Spectacular service by the man behind the bar they call Nick. Although his attention span rivals that of a gnat, he's a master of his own beautiful universe. One moment you're visiting Mars and the next he's making his rib tattoo dance for $1's Don't forget to tip the cat dj's and punish your liver. PS Nick, good luck with your upcoming career move. Gay porn should be so lucky to have you and your red rocket. Get em tiger!!!

Had so much fun I threw up in my mouth a little, swallowed, then stayed till close. Finished night by meowing at TV.

This place was super cool! Small hut def a vibe. The only reason why 4/5 stars is bc the prices were a little too high.

The vibe here was awesome! (no pun intended). The bartenders were nice. The DJ was super sweet. One of my favorite spots when bar hopping in Kihei!

We decided to bar hop on our last night in Kihei, Maui and we chilled at this bar first, which was the best choice. The owner/bartender Nicolas is like your rad cousin cuz he's cool as sh!t and hilarious! He makes the vibe even better. The DJ was playing some sick songs and my body never stopped moving Come visit and stay for awhile

Loved the vibe in vibe bar!! It was a bit hard to find which gives it that speakeasy feel. We got there right when it opened, and it's definitely a vibe!!! Graffiti tagged on walls and ceiling, great Christmas decorations with Jack Skellington and a skeleton on the pole who was a MOOD LOL. Nice bartender, drinks not quite up to the menu on Yelp but so eager to please and make sure you leave with a smile on your face. Go visit if you want something different from a tiki bar, stay for the hospitality.

Best cocktail bar I've found on Maui. Nick and Aaron do an amazing job and John the owner is often here and a solid dude. Cheers!

Great cocktails, service and ambiance. Definitely felt good vibes! Nick was our bartender on Christmas Eve. He was warm and welcoming and made really good old fashioned cocktails.

Sour whisky with a red wine float

Ordered the bartender's special, got a killer sour whisky with a red wine float. Aaron worked the bar and he MADE the experience coming back asap.

A nice and small cocktail bar in the Kihei triangle of bars and such. It's pricier than the rest of the bars but their cocktails are a tad bit fancier and really strong. There's only one door and no windows so it can get hot in here. They have one TV which was playing Space Jam and 90s music in the background (I think it was a 90s night). There are only 2 bartenders which one of them kept apologizing of how service sucks. Which is odd esp if you work for the place, but maybe it's the post-pandemic feel of so many tourists and not enough staff. Anyway, we came for one drink and left. They don't have a kitchen but you can bring in your own food. The drinks are good and a unique blend of flavors.

The bartender made me a delicious custom mezcal cocktail. It tastes like the last thing I'll remember tonight.

We did get a peek indoors as we walked through. The space was dimly lit, well-decorated with trendy patterns and furniture, and overall, inviting. I ordered the Pandan Killer Milk punch, which is 8yr aged rum, Planteray Cut & dry rum, pandan liquer, clarified coconut, pineapple, vanilla, lime, and nutmeg. I was truly blown away! It's simple presentation was deceitful in the best way possible. All flavors were beautifully captured and left nothing else to be desired. The Pina Colada on the other hand....my friend felt extremely underwhelmed. The other two cocktails we had in the party were the Ultra Violet Seventy Five, which was very gin-forward and the Snoop PPOG, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. Aside from the Pina Colada, we had a great first experience at Tikehau Lounge! Would visit again and certainly recommend!

We ordered 3 items from the Happy Hour Menu: Tuna Crunch, Sunomono, and Kimchi Dip. Tuna Crunch and Sunomono was my favorite. The Tuna Crunch had garlic chips, chili crunch, and ponzu sauce poured over table side. The Sunomono looked simple with a stack of cucumbers but it also had the most addictive sauce of Garlic Tamari, Chili Crunch and Micro Cilantro. The Kimchi Dip was delicious but I'm not a huge fan of Yorkshire Puddings and would rather had crostini's or bread for dipping. My cousin ordered an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan and he said the drinks were made real good. Another cousin and I opted for Alcohol free drinks, my cousin had one with grapefruit and I enjoyed my "martini" with mango and lilikoi (passion fruit). The Signature Sushi Rolls were delicious. We shared the Anuenue (Rainbow) which included Crab, Ahi, Salmon, Hamachi and Ebi and the Nani (Beautiful) which included Spicy Salmon, Cucumber, Avocado, Yakiniku Sauce, Sweet Soy and Micro Greens. We also ordered the Katsu Pork Belly which our bartender recommended. There's 6 crispy pieces atop Rice, Katsu Sauce, Cabbage and Japanese Curry Mayo. My cousin got the Hot Rock Maui Nui Venison Striploin which was cooked on the Hot Rock for 15 seconds per side and served with 4 Homemade Tortillas and Shiso Chimichurri. Overall, food was pretty good but of course quite expensive and located on a tourist spot. Thankful for Kamaaina discount and the beautiful sunset views!

We took the pizzas home, and they were delicious. Our favorite was the sweet kalua. It was not overly barbecuey or sweet, but actually pretty savory. The margherita pizza was good too. In general, their pizza stands out because there is not too much crust. It was not crispy, but instead airy and on the doughy side. The reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because one of our group members found a blonde hair baked into his pizza slice, not just sitting on top. That was disappointing, especially since the pizza itself was actually very good.

Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake.
