Lovely cocktail bar that conveniently converts into a small club later at night. When we stopped by there were barely any folks and within 30 mins that place was buzzing with locals and tourists alike. The cocktails here were fabulous and wish we could stay longer but the music was too loud to even sit and have a drink. I arrived about 9:20 on Friday night. Clearly too early. At least another hour before dj started, and still longer before people showed up. I had a very tasty lemon drop. Really cute girl behind the bar, and to be honest, the bartender was not a bad looking guy. Mostly a young crowd. Props to the white guy with red beard who seemed to know the words to every song - mostly hip hop songs I did not know. DJ freaked me out. We were chatting outside and he asked how I was doing. Good, I said. He asked how about inside? "I saw you groovin but I also see a sadness." I lost my wife to a heart attack last month. After a little while, two attractive ladies came in and sat by me. The super cute blonde says, these guys hitting on me - I could be their mother. I was surprised. Thought, okay must be early 40's. Turned out she was only six years younger than me. After being with one woman for 27 years, I got no game. So I let Sara(h) from the steakhouse slip away. Certainly nice to know women in my age range can look that good. Overall, cool place, nice vibe. Everyone was cool, no matter age, race, whatever. One guy said to me "you look like old money" that's cool because that's the look I strive for. A nice and small cocktail bar in the Kihei triangle of bars and such. It's pricier than the rest of the bars but their cocktails are a tad bit fancier and really strong. There's only one door and no windows so it can get hot in here. They have one TV which was playing Space Jam and 90s music in the background (I think it was a 90s night). There are only 2 bartenders which one of them kept apologizing of how service sucks. Which is odd esp if you work for the place, but maybe it's the post-pandemic feel of so many tourists and not enough staff. Anyway, we came for one drink and left. Love this little "dive" bar hidden away in Maui. The inside is so artistically creative, colorful and loud it was very unique. The bartenders were generous with their alcohol and their list of specialty drinks kept us coming back to the bar for more. They even had a drink that was flaming! When we got there around 9pm there was hardly anyone there, but by the time we left close to midnight it was packed. Seemed like a pretty mixed crowd, nothing shouted "LGBT" but it was filled with diverse friendly people. Almost never made it here because their website was deleted, thought it was closed. By far the worst service I ever received at a bar. Disclaimer, the drinks were great. Service was absolute trash. I order, chill, and eventually finish my drink. I'm literally picking my teeth with the toothpick that came with my cocktail. And I'm sitting at the bar. i.e. I clearly wanted another drink. BOTH bartenders checked on the two women sitting at a table behind me and never asked me if I wanted another drink. It had gotten busier since I first walked in, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt despite feeling ignored sitting at the bar. Out of frustration, I ask for another drink. Bruh. Speakeasy-esque but also very laid back and local feeling. Love the plants. I ordered a mezcal cocktail that was really delicious - with mezcal, tequila, lemon, lime, orange, egg white, bitters and some sort of hot pepper/spice. Winning combo. It was also surprisingly good prices ($12 on a craft cocktail) vs the insane tourist/Maui prices we had seen on mixed drinks all vacation ($18+).
