thank you SY for the excellent service! his food and drink recommendations were excellent, and we had a fun time here. we came pretty late, and wished we could have gotten there for the sunset view. there is a luau every tuesday/thursday, and live music every wednesday. there is free valet validated parking. i hope to return soon!
Located at the top pool at the Andaz by the Hyatt. Beautiful hotel! Great place to watch sunset. Drinks are delicious. Mix drinks are around $21 and beers are around $11. Mix drinks are tasty and worth it. i ordered the lobster grilled cheese. It was good but i don't think it was worth the price. The cheese and sauce over powers the taste of the lobster. The fries were perfect, seasoned well and perfect crispiness. The burger was good. Nothing out of the ordinary, so it was what was expected. Patty was cooked good and nicely seasoned. The lettuce and tomato on the burger was fresh. Our waiter was really nice but he covered most of the area so we didn't see him as often. I would recommend eating here for a casual evening. There was also live musics from 6:00pm- 9:00pm.
This lounge was absolutely incredible. I visited this lounge on my last night in Maui and it was so beautiful. I didn't get to watch the sunset, but apparently everybody said that the sunsets here are amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody who is visiting or in town. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, the lounge is really amazing. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese, which was so yummy. The drink selection was also delicious. The service here was very fast and overall such a great restaurant. I would highly recommend this place.
Food is AMAZING here. We got tsunami fries once, and another night got the Parmesan fries and fish tacos. Fish tacos were so incredibly good that we came back for them. Try to come at lunch though because things are cheaper then - dinner is same menu, same portions but $10+. Service is a little slow but everyone has been really sweet. Portions also are pretty good and sizable!!
Aloha, Just writing this to let people know not to order the Fish and Chips that's all I can speak for. For $32 I would expect a little more then a plate packed with lots of waffle fries and 2 tiny pieces of fish (see pic... in this case the picture does appear bigger then it seems ) haha. wife and I were supposed to split each of our plates but that wasn't happening haha. either times are tough and that was $32 gets you or somebody on the line was hungry haha.. Anyways I swnt this into their feedback line (that's why it's there right) and got nothing in response.. so just giving honest feedback now.., To whoever does enjoy this place have fun just don't order the Fish and Chips.... unless you want lots of fries and not much fish then go for it! :)
Gorgeous lounge. The view is amazing. Came with friends to see a live performance. The view of the sunset with the band was awesome. When we initially got there the service was amazing. However, I did notice that the service lacked as the night continued (even though it wasnt busy). The waitress forgot about us several times and I even received the incorrect food order. I would go back but I would sit at the bar so its easier to get service if needed.

Park next door at the free beach parking just past the entrance to the Andez and come in from the beach walk. We also walked one day from Kihei along the beach and caught an Uber back.
After flying into Maui from LAX I was pretty hungry. They don't serve food on the plane during COVID, so all I had all day long was one boiled egg at LAX and a biscotti on the plane. I tried to pay my respect to my grandparents in Paia, but the Buddhist site where their remains are interned is only open on the weekends. I was tempted to stop and grab some food on the drive to the Andaz Maui, but decided to just drive directly to the hotel from Paia. When checking in, the clerk suggested that if I was hungry to try Lehua Lounge since their other restaurant didn't open for another three hours for dinner. After unpacking, I decided to grab a very early dinner. Since it was a lounge, it was open seating, so I grabbed a high top table in the shade and pondered over the menu. I finally decided on the order the Big Swell IPA and the mochiko chicken bowl. The IPA was only 6.1 ABV, but tasted so good sipping on it in Maui. The mochiko chicken was good, but not as excellent as other types of chicken karaage that I have had back on the mainland. I would return to try another dish, but since it is a lounge, the menu isn't as extensive as a full service sit down restaurant.
A solid option if you're staying at the Andaz and want a no-fuss dinner. We went on a Friday night and the live music was a great touch, it set a really relaxed vibe. One thing I appreciated was that they never rushed us. I ordered the ahi poke, which came with tortilla chips, and I ordered a house salad. There was no wait to be seated! It's not a destination restaurant, but for convenience and atmosphere it delivers. read more
Casual Dining at Andaz tonight featuring their revised menu. Service was great and professional from greeting to check. We shared dishes that featured Truffle Fries, Prime Rib Steak bites, Pipikaula Jerky, a Kampachi Filet and Fettuccine Alfredo. Cocktails were good, but nothing too special. Food was colorful and tasty, it came out quickly seeing that the resort wasn't jam packed like we've seen it before. Never thought I'd mention this but prices are reasonable considering its pricy exclusive Wailea. The beautiful Andaz Wailea Resort (a Hyatt collection) is perched 4 stories above sea level with tiered pools before ending on Wailea's Polo Beach and boardwalk. We had an opportunity to view their beachside suites a month back at a special event and are luxurious and spacious. And it's nice to enjoy dining during a cool Dec. sunset evening, but the sun goes down by 5:30 pm, so go a little earlier and use the valet parking. read more
Big Mahalo to our bartender Sy, he was great to talk to and made marvelous beverages for our enjoyment. It's always fun to see what he can whip up, off the menu, according to your preference :) This bar is located on the upper pool deck of the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. The ocean views from any seat at this Lounge is absolutely breathtaking! Morning, noon, sunset, or evening, this full service bar also offers food items for sale. We visited Sy several times during our stay at the resort and each time, the servers are fast and friendly; tables and seating were clean; and the beverages were refreshingly perfect. Thank you everyone for making our stay enjoyable. This has got to be THE best place to work with such stunning views all day :) read more

The service is great and the food is ok. The a quick bite to eat when you can't decide where to go. The burger is ok. I probably wouldn't get it again. However, the fries were the best part. I love the live music and the vibe they have going on at night. read more

The scenery was gorgeous. Overlooking several infinity pools and the Ocean. Live music and delicious albeit expensive cocktails. Staff was very attentive. read more

Get the lobster grilled cheese. A bit on the pricier side but completely worth it with waffle fries. Great service especially if you're a guest and you're relaxing enjoy the Maui air and sun. 10/10 on the view alone. read more

Lehua Lounge is a great spot! It's right in Wailea, at the Andaz hotel. The vibe is super chill with a beautiful view of the ocean. Perfect for grabbing a drink and watching the sunset! Staff is friendly. read more

We're staying at the Andaz, and this poolside bar/casual dining has been an absolute DREAM! While pricey (on par with the rest of the resort costs) the drinks have always been fantastic, the food tasty, but the real treat is the view!! We've watched every sunset over the infinity pools, spotted whales out in the water, and enjoyed live music every night! Couldn't say better things about this amazing eatery, our favorites include the burrata appetizer, the lobster grilled cheese, and the Upcountry Buck cocktail -- amazing! read more

Spontaneously we decided to have a drink at the Lehua Lounge even though we weren't staying here. My husband had entered the resort to use the ATM (it was the closest one to our place). The staff were so nice to him that he decided, I'll look around. That's when he found the Lehua Lounge. It was a beautiful spot for a view and the drinks were really good. We also had a birdseye view of the luau that was close to the beach. Staff again was very friendly. Highly recommend. read more

A nice place for a drink and the poke was excellent. Friendly waitstaff, outdoors however so it definitely had more of a pool bar vibe instead of a lobby bar you'd find at some of the other nearby resorts read more

This is a hidden gem. We have eaten here daily. The view is spectacular ! It's so relaxing and the burger along with the sides all fresh farm to table. They have live music in the evening which adds to the ambiance. We have a couple more days here and I'm sure will be making a few more appearances . Aloha read more
We stopped in for some pre-dinner drinks. ATMOSPHERE: The bar is outdoors, pool side at the Andaz Wailea. The bar seating area is fairly large along with intimate sofa style seating with a gas fire pit, and a long communal counter. There are views of the pool and ocean. Live music was happening on this Wednesday night. MENU: It's mostly drinks but they also have a small food menu of bar-type snacks like chicken wings, sashimi, and brussels sprouts. BEVERAGE: Heineken - $7 but from a can. That's odd. SERVICE The bartender was friendly & welcoming. OVERALL: Nice place, fair prices. read more

We are honest thankful for the efforts put forth by the manager of Lehua Lounge at the Maui Andaz, Travis Ochoa as well as the Chef there (who's name I don't recall unfortunately). They went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing, over the top, excellent dining experience that was completely vegan and gluten-free. We had contacted the hotel in advance and spoke with Travis about our dietary restrictions. When we arrived, Travis and their fabulous Chef was ready for us with several options. We started with an item already on their menu - Fried Shishito Peppers but made without the Big Island feta and pipikaula jerky. They were quite tasty start with. The Chef then made up a super creative meal using a large cut of cauliflower like a steak, marinated and grilled to perfection. It was placed on top of fried quinoa and shiitake mushrooms (and other vegetables) with a deep fried falafel and a special creamy tomato based sauce. It was simply outstanding! It was definitely made with love and honesty. It truly made our dining experience exceptional. Maui Andaz - Travis Ochoa is truly excellent restaurant manager. I hope you read this review and offer him praise for making our dining experience so wonderful. Thanks too to the Chef that night (which again I apologize for not remembering his name) for creating such a wonderful, flavorful and thoughtful vegan meal. We realize he didn't have to do that or make it as wonderful as he did. We're very grateful, honestly. We love this hotel and hope that vegan items can be added to the menu. That would be such a wonderful benefit to so many of your guests, not just vegans but anyone that wants to eat healthier. read more

The Lehua Lounge is fantastic! My husband and I stayed at the Andaz in Wailea during our honeymoon on Maui in May/June and we frequented the Lehua Lounge, which is located on the upper deck of the resort's cascading infinity pools. During our various times there, we ordered the following: -The Andaz Colada (a variation of a pina colada) - we ordered this countless times (at least twice a day) -Other fruity and tropical drinks -Chilled Wine (and one of the bartenders pours the wine in a really cool way with the wine glass balanced on his arm) -Lobster grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup -Coleslaw -Lettuce Wraps -Burger and fries -Vietnamese summer rolls -Waffle cut fries It's a perfect place for snacks and to lounge in the sun on the deck or in the infinity pool! We would definitely return. read more

The Lehua lounge is great lunch spot or anywhere on the decks during 11am-5pm. When you think of pool food you think of basic food but this menu it is gourmet and really delicious! What else makes me want to come back is their cocktails, it is pretty pricey $18 a drink but I love how everything is crafty, fresh squeeze juice, housemate syrup for the drinks, and they pour 2 oz. of alcohol! After 5pm they switch menu to dinner and play live music 5:30-9pm everynight and serve food til 10p and drink til 11pm! read more
