thank you SY for the excellent service! his food and drink recommendations were excellent, and we had a fun time here. we came pretty late, and wished we could have gotten there for the sunset view. there is a luau every tuesday/thursday, and live music every wednesday. there is free valet validated parking. i hope to return soon!

It's all about the Tsunami Fries and The. View. Great menu, cocktails, great service.

Located at the top pool at the Andaz by the Hyatt. Beautiful hotel! Great place to watch sunset. Drinks are delicious. Mix drinks are around $21 and beers are around $11. Mix drinks are tasty and worth it. i ordered the lobster grilled cheese. It was good but i don't think it was worth the price. The cheese and sauce over powers the taste of the lobster. The fries were perfect, seasoned well and perfect crispiness. The burger was good. Nothing out of the ordinary, so it was what was expected. Patty was cooked good and nicely seasoned. The lettuce and tomato on the burger was fresh. Our waiter was really nice but he covered most of the area so we didn't see him as often. I would recommend eating here for a casual evening. There was also live musics from 6:00pm- 9:00pm.

The service is great and the food is ok. The a quick bite to eat when you can't decide where to go. The burger is ok. I probably wouldn't get it again. However, the fries were the best part. I love the live music and the vibe they have going on at night.

This lounge was absolutely incredible. I visited this lounge on my last night in Maui and it was so beautiful. I didn't get to watch the sunset, but apparently everybody said that the sunsets here are amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody who is visiting or in town. Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, the lounge is really amazing. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese, which was so yummy. The drink selection was also delicious. The service here was very fast and overall such a great restaurant. I would highly recommend this place.

Food is AMAZING here. We got tsunami fries once, and another night got the Parmesan fries and fish tacos. Fish tacos were so incredibly good that we came back for them. Try to come at lunch though because things are cheaper then - dinner is same menu, same portions but $10+. Service is a little slow but everyone has been really sweet. Portions also are pretty good and sizable!!

The scenery was gorgeous. Overlooking several infinity pools and the Ocean. Live music and delicious albeit expensive cocktails. Staff was very attentive.

Get the lobster grilled cheese. A bit on the pricier side but completely worth it with waffle fries. Great service especially if you're a guest and you're relaxing enjoy the Maui air and sun. 10/10 on the view alone.

Aloha, Just writing this to let people know not to order the Fish and Chips that's all I can speak for. For $32 I would expect a little more then a plate packed with lots of waffle fries and 2 tiny pieces of fish (see pic... in this case the picture does appear bigger then it seems ) haha. wife and I were supposed to split each of our plates but that wasn't happening haha. either times are tough and that was $32 gets you or somebody on the line was hungry haha.. Anyways I swnt this into their feedback line (that's why it's there right) and got nothing in response.. so just giving honest feedback now.., To whoever does enjoy this place have fun just don't order the Fish and Chips.... unless you want lots of fries and not much fish then go for it! :)

Lehua Lounge is a great spot! It's right in Wailea, at the Andaz hotel. The vibe is super chill with a beautiful view of the ocean. Perfect for grabbing a drink and watching the sunset! Staff is friendly.

Gorgeous lounge. The view is amazing. Came with friends to see a live performance. The view of the sunset with the band was awesome. When we initially got there the service was amazing. However, I did notice that the service lacked as the night continued (even though it wasnt busy). The waitress forgot about us several times and I even received the incorrect food order. I would go back but I would sit at the bar so its easier to get service if needed.

If you are looking for an Amazing view or place to watch the sunset this bar at the Andez hotel is it. The drinks are spendy at $21 per but worth it to have a nice view. Both times we were there the luau was going on down below so we enjoyed the music as well. Park next door at the free beach parking just past the entrance to the Andez and come in from the beach walk. We also walked one day from Kihei along the beach and caught an Uber back.

After flying into Maui from LAX I was pretty hungry. They don't serve food on the plane during COVID, so all I had all day long was one boiled egg at LAX and a biscotti on the plane. I tried to pay my respect to my grandparents in Paia, but the Buddhist site where their remains are interned is only open on the weekends. I was tempted to stop and grab some food on the drive to the Andaz Maui, but decided to just drive directly to the hotel from Paia. When checking in, the clerk suggested that if I was hungry to try Lehua Lounge since their other restaurant didn't open for another three hours for dinner. After unpacking, I decided to grab a very early dinner. Since it was a lounge, it was open seating, so I grabbed a high top table in the shade and pondered over the menu. I finally decided on the order the Big Swell IPA and the mochiko chicken bowl. The IPA was only 6.1 ABV, but tasted so good sipping on it in Maui. The mochiko chicken was good, but not as excellent as other types of chicken karaage that I have had back on the mainland. I would return to try another dish, but since it is a lounge, the menu isn't as extensive as a full service sit down restaurant.

I ordered the Pandan Killer Milk punch, which is 8yr aged rum, Planteray Cut & dry rum, pandan liquer, clarified coconut, pineapple, vanilla, lime, and nutmeg. I was truly blown away! It's simple presentation was deceitful in the best way possible. All flavors were beautifully captured and left nothing else to be desired. The Pina Colada on the other hand....my friend felt extremely underwhelmed. The other two cocktails we had in the party were the Ultra Violet Seventy Five, which was very gin-forward and the Snoop PPOG, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed. From start to finish, our entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel staff were all extremely kind and engaging, offering helpful tips and suggestions. We had nothing but positive interactions with the valet and the front desk. The staff that work at the on-site restaurants were also lovely. Our ocean view room was clean and spacious. It had all of the amenities we could hope for and the shower had wonderful water pressure. My only request would be that there was a shelf in the shower to put the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as we ended up having to put them on the floor and bending over in the shower while pregnant is not an easy task. The linens were soft and I appreciated the opportunity to earn food and beverage credit or Hilton reward points if we opted out of having our room cleaned each day. The blackout curtains in the room were also wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony each evening and listening to the live music that was performed each night down by the pool. There was ample pool space with plenty of pool chairs, both in the sun and in the shade. Access to the beach was extremely easy. While we were there, we also took part in morning yoga, access to the complementary aquatic activities, a sound bath under the full moon, and the infamous luau. I also booked a prenatal massage at the spa, which was absolutely divine. Access to the Courtesy Car to drop us off at nearby restaurants for reservations was extremely convenient. We appreciated the complementary reusable water bottles and the local snacks and beverages that were restocked in our mini bar. All in all, it was an absolute incredible stay and the next time we find ourselves in Maui, we will absolutely be returning to the Andaz.

We were promptly seated, and our server was extremely kind and attentive. We were very hungry, so we decided to order a little bit of everything. We started with an order of the cast-iron skillet shrimp, the Kahlúa pork pizza, and the Bulgogi tacos. I decided to try the blind tiger mocktail while my husband ordered a local beer. The shrimp were juicy and succulent, although I wish they had given us a few more. The Kahlúa pork pizza had a nice spice to it with the jalapeños, and the pork was so juicy and tender. But the winner for us was definitely the Bulgogi tacos. We both could have easily eaten an entire order on our own. To wrap up our meal, we couldn't pass on their infamous cream pies, so we decided to try the banana cream pie for there, and we took a slice of the coconut cream pie to-go. Both pies were absolutely delicious, but I think the banana cream pie slightly edged out the coconut cream pie for me. However, the owner took the time to respond and explain that the entire shopping center wing was experiencing cooling issues and that the restaurant was dealing with significant staffing shortages at the time. While that doesn't completely change the experience we had, I appreciate that the owner acknowledged the challenges and responded professionally rather than dismissing the feedback. One observation I would offer is that, as a customer, it was difficult to tell who was serving tables. I noticed several employees in Pint & Cork shirts moving around the restaurant, but only saw a couple of servers actively covering the dining area. It's possible some staff were assigned to bartending or other responsibilities, but from the guest perspective it gave the impression that table service was understaffed while other employees appeared unavailable. I still think there is room for improvement in the flow and logistics on the floor, but I appreciate the owner's willingness to engage with feedback and explain the circumstances. That being said, I would be willing to give the restaurant another chance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE: 6.21.26 I appreciate the response. It's telling that you addressed the air conditioning, disputed the gender of an employee, and questioned whether I was even there, yet didn't meaningfully respond to the concerns about service, timing, attentiveness, or food quality. If a customer leaves with a poor experience, the question isn't whether they perfectly recalled every detail. The question is why they left with that impression in the first place. I suspect future readers can draw their own conclusions from both the review and the response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the most disappointing dining experience of our Hawaii trip. We specifically asked to sit indoors because we wanted a break from the Maui heat after spending the day outside. Unfortunately, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning, making the indoor seating barely any cooler than outside. The restaurant also felt severely understaffed. It took around 10 minutes just to get a Diet Coke, and every time I asked for assistance, the woman working at the register seemed to defer the request rather than help or find someone who could. Meanwhile, some employees appeared more interested in chatting than helping customers, while only one or two staff members seemed to be working the floor. I understand restaurants get busy, especially in a tourist area, but the issue wasn't just the wait--it was the feeling that customer service wasn't a priority. As for the food, it was nothing special. I ordered a steak that had a nice smoky flavor, but it arrived well done and overcooked. The rest of the meal was average at best and definitely not memorable enough to make up for the service issues. Between the lack of air conditioning, slow service, inattentive staff, and mediocre food, this was one of the few places in Hawaii where I genuinely regretted spending my money. Considering the location at The Shops at Wailea and the prices being charged, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and execution. There are far too many great dining options in Wailea to come back here.

We stood waiting at the bar for about 20 minutes without being acknowledged. During that time, two bartenders made eye contact with us multiple times but never came over to assist or even greet us. It was only after a staff member (possibly a barback) approached us to ask if we had been helped that anyone finally acknowledged our presence. The lack of basic service was frustrating, but what made the experience more uncomfortable was the feeling that we were being deliberately overlooked. It's hard not to question whether assumptions were being made about us, whether it was how we looked or something else entirely. No guest should ever feel that way when walking into a business. The bar back took our order, and that's when one of the bartenders finally acknowledged us but didn't even apologize for not assisting us to begin with. For a place that presents itself as upscale, the level of professionalism and hospitality fell far below expectations. I hope management takes this seriously and works on creating a more inclusive and attentive environment for all guests.
