We enjoyed meeting our friends here. The ambience is peaceful and being outside made it more inviting. Jamie Lawrence a local musician/ singer played beautifully and it was perfect music to still hear conversations at our table. We had fish tacos which could use a bit more fish, seafood chowder which was not my favorite and others enjoyed fish and chips and corned beef and cabbage. Great Irish fare! Loved the selection of draft beers including a smoky and creamy Guiness and other local microbrews. We love this place and we'll be back soon. Classic open air Irish Bar in Wailea. Large parking lot that's seen better days. Dog and Duck in Kihei recently closed. You climb up a rickety stairs to the concrete pier, timber, sliding door framed restaurant on top of a grassy knoll. The property includes offices and has seen better days. This restaurant sits on the fringe of the Wailea Blue course and sells huge 20 oz "pints" of Guinness Stout or Harp Ales on draft all day for $9.00. Cocktails are good and ample. Holey moley, this place gets absolutely packed esp on Friday night with live music depending on the band. Interesting mix of Wailea tourists and seasoned citizens getting their grove on. Some of what I thought were matured single ladies cruising. Simple laminated cocktail menu that is probably static. Food menu is basic Irish bar food with lots of fried and braised items. Huge bar that shows sports and a large patio overlooking Wailea sunsets. From a line halfway up the stairs I observed the Host seat a full restaurant within 30 minutes. The service and kitchen were really slammed, but fast and efficient. Fish and chips were good, fries soggy not stellar, Braised beef short ribs, pastas and chowder looked good and serviceable. Amazing LUAU! I have been to probably 18 luau's in my Life time! This one was the Best by Far! Love the "Individual Platter Luau" delicious Egg Roll, Fried Rice, Kalua Pig and Teriyaki Chicken! As a fan of pub food I enjoyed the meal, bangers and mash that I ordered. My sister-in-law really liked her fish and chips. And my brother said the hamburger he had was very good. Service was quick and arrived at our table at the right temperature. Staff was friendly. The Sunday night entertainment was perfect for this venue, dance floor was packed for every song. Had reservations for Feb 14, 2026. We got a table and after a period of time got our drinks and ordered food. 90 minutes later still no food. People who came after we did got their food. An employee came over and we told him of how frustrated we were and we said we are out of here. Usually everything always would be good but not this time. I dined at Mulligans on the Blue while visiting Maui from Chicago. The food was delicious and the view is incredible. Fish tacos, Fish N Chips, and Popeyes Chicken sandwich were all wonderful. Strongly recommend going on a Thursday so you can see the Brenton Keith Magic Show. It is truly a Las Vegas level show. Every trick was mind blowing! This our first time dining with our friends living at Waiela. We had their fish and chips was delicious but I would have preferred more fish and spices. The chips was crispy and delicious. I had the mulligan pot pie and large portions amazingly delicious full of beef carrots and onions. Lastly we share two apple pie with vanilla ice creams spectacular with burst of flavors of cinnamon and cloves. Perfectly baked and not too sweet or runny. Lastly the selection of wine was mediocre especially the Mondavi cab was blah. I'm guessing they don't have good wine selection because it's an Irish pub so next time we will order beers. We ordered fish and chips and corned beef cabbage. It was bland and not very good. The pub didn't really seem like an Irish pub. I think it was more of a fancier restaurant on a golf course, hence the name "Mulligan." Nothing Irish about it. Service was not good- waitress was either inexperienced or distracted and we waited 20 minutes to pay our bill. It's a pretty setting though I think we were just out of our element. We made reservations at Mulligans to join in the NYE Celebration. We, a party of four, were seated next to some stairs leading to the grass level. There was barely room for someone to squeeze by without bumping the chairs. The seating space was not suitable due to kids and other people walking by and bumping the chairs as they did so. We again asked to be moved and were seated in a much better area. We had asked for a drink with Tito's Vodka but were told they don't have Tito's and were given some other options. When our drinks came, one of them was in a Tito's cup. We thought that was weird that they advertise for Tito's but don't serve there vodka. We also had 2 Old Fashioned's, the color did not look right and the drinks tasted terrible. The food came and the prime rib looked like a piece of beef jerky. The fish and chips were nothing to rave about and were a little soggy. They did remake the prime rib which looked a little better but for $30 something dollars it was extremely small and thin. I don't think it was prime rib. We just tried to laugh off everything and not let it get us down. A little later we ordered some more drinks and asked for Woodford Bourbon but told they didn't have any. We ordered them with Bulleit. The drinks were fine. A dessert was ordered but took about 30 minutes to arrive. A lady seated behind us said she was pretty sure they ate our dessert because it was delivered to their table after only a couple minutes after they ordered. The service was terrible. It looked like they hired several people without any experience and just used them for the NYE event. I saw a server trying to deliver a plate of food, not sure what table to take it to and then picked up someone's dirty wine glass at the same time she was holding someone's food. That's disgusting! The topper to the whole evening was when we were waiting by the bar to pay our check, noticed a lot of advertising of Tito's vodka. We asked the bartender if they serve Tito's vodka and she said yes of course. Then I looked at the bar and saw a large bottle of Woodford Bourbon. Both of the alcohol which we were told they don't serve. It was one thing after another and definitely not a good experience. Food was terrible and the service was extremely disappointing. We will not go back and do not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

Came here on a partially rainy day and had water splashing onto my leg the entire night, but that wasn't the worst part. The corned beef and cabbage w/ mash potatoes was the worst dish I've ever had at a restaurant. It was so fatty and there was barely any flavor. It was a mushy meaty mess with wet tasteless cabbage. The fish and chips themselves were decent but you can't definitely find better in maui. Extremely loud and the service was okay, I would only come here again for the music. read more

FOOD Corned Beef & Cabbage-meat dry and stringy. Mustard tasted weird, homemade?? Cabbage brownish but cooked perfect. Fish and Chips-fish was hot, meaty and crispy. We liked it. SERVICE Ordering took awhile, but drinks and food came out fast after that. AMBIANCE Typical Irish pub, dark wood, medium size bar. OVERALL I'd return for the Fish&Chips, that's it. we stopped by here to watch the Thursday night football game and grab some food... Being on vacation we decided to cook as little as possible and enjoy the local restaurants:cuisine. This was hands down one of the worst restaurants I've ever gone to. Not one word of a lie - this place has the worst fish tacos both me and my partner have ever tasted. They were so bad we both took one small bite and stopped eating. The fish was horrible, the smell alone was enough to make both of our gag reflexes wake up. The taste was putrid. The bartender ignored us most of the time and the service we did received was not at all friendly. Add in the fact that the bathrooms were filthy and stunk something fierce, we won't be back. I was here last year to see Paul Simon play a benefit for Lahaina and the the service was ok but I went back today while playing the blue and WOW the service and drinks OUTSTANDING. The interaction with the bar manager was so pleasant he made sure we were happy and the stories he has. You got stop by, the music and vibe is great! We came for the magic show on Thursday, which was only a $10 cover, and I felt we should do dinner as well as it seemed like I was being awfully cheap if I didn't. I really wasn't expecting much of the food, but everyone loved their dinners (8 adults and 2 kids)! I wish I had written down what everyone had so I could go into more detail. My son had the Shepherd's Pie, which he loved, my husband had the Reuben (and he is very particular about Reubens) which he thought was great, someone had the curry, also a big hit, I had the Bangers and Mash (a really good sausage but only a tablespoon of peas) and I don't know what everyone else had. I would have had one of their delicious sounding deserts, but it was hard for the servers to get around with everything that was going on. If you want a desert I'd recommend ordering it when you order your entree. Lol my only criticism is my Black and Tan was not at all layered, it was pretty much all one color. If you want good food and a totally fun evening at a great price, go to Muligan's on the Blue on a Thursday night for the Magic show! They have other entertainment many other nights as well and I bet it is always fun! A nice plus is they have a lot of gluten free options! read more
