Omg yum! Happy Cow Burger was such a great find. My fiancé and I were craving hamburgers, and were so happy to stumble upon this place. I love that their menu is an Asian fusion. From their burgers to their loco moco. Very casual atmosphere and the workers were super friendly!! We got their bulgogi burger and bbq pork loco moco. Just wow. Our tastebuds were dancing!!! This place is a gem in Eugene, and I hope to come back when I'm back on Oregon!!

I got this order from a delivery app, so I'm not able to say anything about the service or the ambience, but I was impressed by how nice the lettuce wrap looked. The burger did taste really good. (I didn't want pickles on my burger because they were sweet pickles-please offer dill pickles too.) The french fries were standard, middle of the road fries that were not terrible but not knockout. Otherwise, a solid meal.

Happy Cow is a new burger joint in S. Eugene, located in the Sundance Foods plaza. Along with burgers, the menu consists of breakfast hashes, milkshakes, pancakes, and loco-mocos. A loco-moco is a burger patty served with rice, fried eggs, and onion-gravy, which sounds the ultimate comfort/hangover food. The menu is small but they keep it interesting with a Korean twist by offering things like kimchee, kochujang mayo, and a bulgogi burger. The burgers use free-range grass-fed beef. I tried the standard burger ($7) and overall it was highly satisfying. It's nothing too fancy. The meat consists of 2 thin griddle-cooked patties with crispy edges. The pickles looked home-made. I asked for Korean mayo on the side and it was very good on the burger. I also tried the bulgogi burger ($7), in which the meat has a Korean bulgogi flavor. I enjoyed it! The flavor wasn't too strong (could be stronger) and added a nice sweetness, similar to teryaki. It's worth trying. A gluten-free bun is also available for a small upcharge. The fries & sweet potato fries were good too. They are the thicker-cut style, not crispy. They were seasoned very nicely and hard to stop eating. There's also several flavors of ice cream available for a milkshake, call and ask to see they have. I'll probably be back for my next burger fix and maybe for breakfast too!

This place is so good! So much food for such a good price. Not a ton of seating and it was a bit cold. But the service, style, and quality of food can make up for that easily. We will be back.

Really like that their milkshake has a good chocolate flavor, but is not overly sweet. Great fries too.

Went to the goth night (ghost something?) tonight and it was a blast. The bar is gothic style too…read moreso it's marvelous. I heard it's usually an alternative / low key queer bar, more like mixed to me, which is nice. I know they recently made a change about free events turning into free with a drink purchase, which is reasonable! I've been low to no income, to where $10 is a splurge for me. I never got to go to a free event, but if I can't afford it I just don't go! Gotta keep the lights on, and $5 for a goth night was perfect for me. I had so much fun, the music was sweet and the outdoor area was nice too. The dance floor is small- kinda as big as their bathroom- but very accommodating, everyone seemed to have space to do their own thing. The one thing that did puzzle me is that they had a sign on the bathroom that said woman and then said it was all genders. I feel like maybe just taking the woman sign off would be simple enough. The message seems to just be "no urinal". The bathrooms are clean and plenty of stalls though!! I can't say anything about the drinks or food this time around, just the vibes which are great :) Lots of variety of events here, I'm sure I'll be back!

Some of the other reviews were negative on their food...but our food was fantastic. The burgers were moist and not greasy. The waffle cut fries were hot and crispy. The bartenders work non stop to get your drinks and food out quickly. My daughter loved the churro style donuts (but they are messy). The decor is a D&D dive bar scene....so many things to look at as you wait for bingo to start. They just changed the rules and you do have to pay $1.00 per person to play bingo...but where else can you get that type of entertainment for a dollar. We can't wait to return.

On our first morning in our new town, we went to The Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was a simple meal, but one we were grateful we could afford. When we asked for the check, our server smiled and told us someone had already paid for it. That small act of kindness made me feel like I truly belonged in our new home. It reminded me that even in an unfamiliar place, there were good people who cared about others. Since that day, every time we visit The Original Pancake House, we make it a point to pay it forward whenever we can. It's our way of honoring the kindness that meant so much to us and has stuck with me. Beyond the beautiful memory, the food is incredible. It's hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Comfort food that tastes like it's made with love. You must try the Dutch baby! The ladies who work there are always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. The Original Pancake House in Eugene is a charming, family-friendly spot with genuine warmth and stellar coffee. The casual, lively vibe makes it feel like the proper brunch destination you'd hope for from a legendary breakfast joint. We ordered their hero dish--a side of buttermilk pancakes--and the Irish Omelette. The pancakes delivered real flavor: fluffy, tender, with classic buttermilk tang. My only critique? They arrived cool, likely from sitting in the warmth window a bit too long. Off the griddle, these would shine. The Irish Omelette was more disappointing. Designed to be airy and light with corned beef and potatoes inside, ours was overcooked and rubbery--far from the delightful, pillowy texture it should be. For a restaurant with this history, execution should be consistent. The coffee and service were warm and attentive, which goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Worth visiting for atmosphere, especially if your pancakes arrive hot. Try during slower service to avoid the window-sit fate. The Portland location executes at a higher level.
