    Garlic chicken and kalua pig

First time trying Hapa Food and will definitely be back! I tried the chicken and kalua pig. It was served with rice and Mac salad which were both rich in flavor. I highly recommend "hurricane" style! Xo -B

First time here. I ordered the kalbi and garlic chicken plate and poke nachos. Everything was good and flavorful but I do wish there was more poke on my nachos. And the garlic chicken I had mostly were breaded not enough meat on it but other than that it was good but we were still hungry after. The place isn't big and it's kinda tight especially if it's busy. Service was great.

Love coming to Hapa for lunch. My favorite to order is the Kalbi & Garlic Chicken mix plate. The beef is juicy and perfectly marinated. I love the ambiance of feel good island music, and the staff is so friendly. I will always come back. If you have enough room after, the fresh filled Malasadas (cream filled donuts) are incredible. I can never get enough of this place!!

Been seeing this place on my social media and I absolutely love galbi and steak. We came on a day that served the ribeye 29.99$ and also ordered the galbi plate 24.99. Both were very good along with the Mac salad. The kimchi with the galbi is perfect, I only wish there was more. The plate came with a lot of rice and the galbi had such a great Smokey & sweetness to it. Both were super delicious, Would absolutely love to try the garlic shrimp next. Food took 20~min which was told upfront and it is worth the wait !

Oh my goodness this place is 1000% legit real Hawaiian food. I have been dying to go since I recently came back from Oahu and I actually think this out ranked the street food I was looking for in Hawaii. The staff and service are so great definitely "island vibes" 100% Clean and fast service everything made as ordered.

Fresh made to order Hawaiian food, very friendly service as well! Will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.

so fire!!! you can tell how good a hawaiian place is by their mac salad and this one was quite delish. my friends and i tried the galbi and garlic shrimp, kalua pork, and the ahi poke plates. everything was actually so darn yummy. the galbi was grilled really nicely and had a good bite to it. the kalua pork was suuuper tender. and the poke was fresh and well marinated. this place was a delightful surprise

Food is good! They'll inform you upon ordering that food may take a little while to be prepared but imo it wasn't too slow. My favorite is the galbi but i'm also fond of the mac salad (which I don't believe has any onions). Restaurant is on the smaller side but was able to find seating.

I think I came across Hapa on instagram. It looked so good that I was dying to try it! The woman at the register was very nice, and she told me the food was made to order, and it would be 30 minutes. There were quite a few people in there so I think next time I would order ahead vs waiting in for 30 minutes... The food did not disappoint! I had the Kalbi and garlic chicken combo . I did t realize the chicken was deep fried. I would have preferred a non deep fried option, but it was good! My daughter had the shrimp and chicken. It was all great, but the portions were huge. We should have split one meal! I also love coconut so I had to try their coconut dessert. I can't remember the name - I think it was snow something - I loved that too! The restaurant is small and simple!

First time trying Hawaiian inspired food. It was good. The cashier lady was pleasant and patient with our family of 5 even though we weren't sure what we wanted to get. Today we tried the galbi and garlic chicken served with rice and mac and cheese, galbi and garlic shrimp, and malasaras ube and custard flavors. We also ordered the Hawaiian sun canned drinks and they were refreshing as well. What stood out to me was the soft custard flavored malasara, please try this when you visit Hapa Food. This place is a fast food casual restaurant and it's worth the trip. The plaza offers plenty of parking spaces.

I've been seeing this on IG for a long time and finally made the drive. It was well worth it!! The poke nachos were perfection and exactly how they should be. Fresh and delicious! The malasadas were fresh and amazing. I highly recommend going even if it's out of the way. Sooo good!

Just moved to the East Valley with my beautiful gay son. Of all the Hawaiian food we have tried Hapa is by far the best! I had the garlic chicken and it was to die for. The staff were working their butts off when we came in and they still made time to wipe the tables in the front.

Pretty solid Hawaiian fare. I need to try the malasadas next time. I got the kalbi and kalua pig mix plate. The kalbi leaned on the sweeter end than the sweet-savory balance I usually prefer but still tasty and the meat tender. The mac salad was creamy. The kalua pig was a little salty but when paired with the rice and mac salad it tasted just balanced. The kimchi was a welcome contrast to the richness of both. It can get busy and packed inside, so be aware of that and waiting a bit to get your food. It's not a big place so you're better off ordering it to go. Chill vibes inside though.

Absolutely insane! I'd argue every entree was fresher than when served at family parties. Will be back when I'm on this side of town.

The inside is so nice and well lit. Their aged kimchee with pork belly hot pot was so savory and not too spicy at all. I also tried their corn silk tea, very refreshing!! Portion sizes are more than enough to fill you. When I tell you, when the food came out, my boyfriend and I realized we are BIGGG BACKSSS. Even though we only ordered 2 items off the menu, this was enough food to feed a family of 5-7. We're only 2 people. Clearly, my eyes were more hungry than my tummy can handle but mm mm MMM, I did not regret coming back here at all. Definitely had to take the food home after. I'm currently eating the leftovers from this photo that I brought home as I write this review. Crying that the food is almost done. Will have to return for seconds!! Thank you Babo Jumak for the amazing food!!

We ordered the rice cake & dumpling soup, jokbal, spicy beef soup, and the hangover ramen. The rice cake & dumpling soup was nice and comforting. I liked the texture of the rice cakes--really chewy--and the dumplings were good too. It was our first time trying jokbal. Honestly, we didn't know what to expect, but we ended up liking it. The portion was huge, and the pork was tender and tasty. The spicy beef soup had a bit of a kick, and the hangover ramen was also good. The broth was rich, and there were a lot of ingredients in it. Everything we tried was good, and I'm glad we came to try this place.
