We used to live down the street from here and have always loved eating here. Everything is made fresh daily here. So since our move to NE Mesa we don't come as often we just happened to be over on this side of town and decided to come in and grab some dinner to take home. We got the pork and beef it came with salad and steamed rice. I loved the beef it was soft, in bite size pieces, tender and the sauce it was cooked in had just the right amount of kick to it. Now the pork had a nice evenly balance of smokey flavor to it but I wish it had been cooked in a sauce also. Comes with rice, Mac salad and steamed veggies. My husband always gets the kalbi. Sometimes the pieces are super small, barely any meat on it. The main reason I deducted a star was based on service. Every time I come to this place the food has never failed me. I always get the teriyaki chicken plate which brings a big variety of delicious food. As of today, I have gotten out of my comfort zone and decided to try a new plate called the beef and chicken combo. I would make this plate equivalent to my usual. It brought a big variety of tasty food with a large fountain drink. Now the only downside I would have to say about this location is they have everything set out for you to grab whatever you need except for napkins. Alongside with not so sanitary bathrooms. They were explaining the menus well and were very patient with us even though they were busy. Kalbi Short Ribs: I LOVE THIS DISH! This one is my favorite! It is cooked perfectly and sauced very well. I came in tonight to get dinner as usual. Paola (spelling is probably off) offered me a coupon. It was a scratch off - I asked can I use this now or is this for later? She said they complained about her not passing them out so I can use it now. I scratched off and it said BOGO.
