RUDE service. Not even acknowledged when walking in. Sat at the glass for 5 minutes and the guy just continued to look down at his orders, never looked up at us. We won't be back. I was craving this and I'm beyond disappointed.

Piggy Bop and B Bop
Teresa H.

We ordered a piggy bop and a B bop. It was pretty good, but not great. The Piggy Bop was heavily sauced (too much) I felt like it needed more cabbage. Rice was overcooked. Big portions though. Service was fine. We ate there but it seemed to more of a take out place. Not sure if I would try again.

I tried Cupbob for the first time and ordered the combo bop (2 protein and veggies). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The flavors were bland, very less quantity of proteins and the ingredients seemed underwhelming. It was an okay experience but not something I'd rush to have again On the positive side, the service was friendly and the place was clean. Maybe I'll give another item a try in the future, but for now, the combo just didn't impress me.

Korean chicken

Me and my mom decided to try this place out after spotting it during a Starbucks run. Going in for the first time can feel rather intense as there is plenty of options. Every bowl includes cabbage, rice noodles, and white rice inside it. You get to pick your entree for the bowl. I kept mine simple this time by just picking some chicken. After the bowl is made you then pick a sauce to go on top of it. The sauces range on a 1-10 scale. 1 being sweet and 10 being spicy. Not knowing what to expect I just picked a 3. My meal also came with 3 gyoza (or potstickers). The meal was very yummy! I'd say it filled me up quite well also, despite looking smaller. The sauce was not spicy and stayed on the sweeter end (almost teriyaki like). The gyoza was also tasty! Especially with the dipping sauce. My two year old even devoured her noodles - yes, they offer kids bowls! They also include the cabbage, rice noodles, and white rice. But you can exclude any of it. Overall I would definitely return here. I think I would try a level 5 on sauce next time and see if I could get more noodles versus rice.

I was so excited to see this place.. Drove by all the time waiting for it to open.. So finally tried it out today.. What a pure disappointment. You get rice cabbage and yam noodle in the bowl.. Then you pick your protein. Beef, pork, chicken, and few other options.. Then you pick the sauce level and you shake em and eat em.. Well... You can't call it bibimbop with only noodle (japche) and cabbage.. I wish there were more side dishes you could have added to the bowl. The spice level 10 had a good heat but nothing crazy. Over all flavor was not bad on mine.. Then my friend ordered the chicken bop with mild sauce... I don't know what kind of creamy sauce that was but it was sweet. On top of that chicken was sweet crispy chicken.. My friend could only eat half because of the sweetness and just the odd flavor... So i tried some of her bowl and all I can say is who came up with this sauce... I mean it's fine being some what if bibimbop and something different but that sauce does not belong in bibimbop.. Well at least that is my opinion. Once size bowl and around $11+ with tax for the bowl... Probably won't be coming back here again.

Ugly Bop... Korean fried chicken, rice, noodles, sauces, level 3 spice and sesame seeds.

great food great service nice restaurant will be coming back and will bring family and friendsread more

I stopped by Caldwell County BBQ for dinner on a Saturday evening. Located in Gilbert, I found…read morestreet parking right in front of the restaurant despite it being quite busy. I'll preface this review by saying I have very high standards when it comes to BBQ. I am from Houston after all. Caldwell County BBQ very much lived up to the hype. It's no surprise their reviews are so good. Ambiance (5/5): Caldwell County BBQ serves Texas-style BBQ. I felt right at home. There's a lot of Texan decor and the sort of ambiance you would expect at a BBQ joint. It's a spacious restaurant with plenty of seating outside and a decent amount of seating inside. We sat inside. One of the things they do well is keeping the A/C blasting both indoors and outdoors (while you're likely going to wait in line) along with misters. Definitely something you need in Phoenix! Service (4/5): I hate waiting in line. Though it's not unusual at popular BBQ spots, I still wish places like this would hire a couple of more people to make the line move faster (or even completely eliminate the lines). We probably waited in line for about 20 minutes. They have a water cooler along the route, but it was all out. Something the staff should check on a little more frequently. With all this being said, Caldwell County is well worth the wait. Drinks (5/5): Whenever I'm at a BBQ joint, I'm looking for sweet tea. Which they have here. Plus your standard assortment of soft drinks and alcohol, with a focus on beer. Food (5/5): BBQ joints typically have you pay by weight or by plates (one meat, two meats, three meats, etc.). Caldwell does it by the pound unless you go with a sandwich, loaded baked potato, etc. What's nice is they also have a family pack for 4 which comes with brisket, pulled pork, and your choice of ribs, sausage, or one other protein which is escaping me. Plus two large pint-size sides. We rolled with this option as it's a good deal (brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis style ribs with corn casserole and mac and cheese). White bread, pickles, onions, and jalapenos are available free of charge. There are three BBQ sauces at each table: their classic BBQ, spicy, and AZ gold). We also added a quarter pound of the AZ burnt ends. Man, these are some quality meats. Brisket is the true test of Texas BBQ and the shining star. The brisket here isn't the best I've ever had but it's quite respectable. The sweet and spicy AZ burnt ends were delicious too. The ribs were tender and had a nice sweet glaze on them. The pulled pork was my least favorite, but still quite good. The sides are solid, though they could be a bit better. The mac and cheese was too peppery for my taste and the corn casserole was too sweet. Like pretty much all craft BBQ these days, Caldwell County BBQ isn't cheap. But the quality is there. This is the type of place that I would come back to again and again. They also have a location in Peoria though this one is the original. And I hear they don't run out of meats as other BBQ joints do (especially in Texas). That's a big plus! It's always a bummer when a BBQ joint is out of something you want. If you haven't been to Caldwell County BBQ, change that quick. Yeehaw!

When the mood for BBQ struck, I ordered via Uber Eats as I have heard they have good barbecue. With…read moremy health, I can't always eat meat but lately I've been able to tolerate. Bring on the BBQ and try a new to me location! What I ordered: - Baby Back Ribs: very delicious and tender - some of my favorite ribs recently - Green Chili Mac n Cheese: fairly average Mac n Cheese, and something I'd order again as it complimented the ribs - Cowboy Beans (Pinto): not a fan, and I should know better as team baked beans (skip next time) - Green Chili Corn Bread: pretty moist and a good flavor - green chili is a tasty addition - Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding : SKIP THIS ITEM - mushy and ended up putting in the bin I didn't eat all, and had as leftovers the next day. The ribs were surprisingly just as delightful as the first day! This order has intrigued me to take a trip to the establishment to see the ambiance of dining in, and the service the staff provides. Though, Uber Eats did make it convenient and they were exceptionally friendly dropping off. If you are in the mood for BBQ, I recommend Waldo's.

Enjoyed most of my food last time here, so brought my wife today…read more I really want to like Waldo's, but here we go. I ordered the sampler platter with pit ham, moist brisket and pulled beef. Sides were a house salad & cornbread. 1. Pit beef was great, stringy, a little chewy and moist. Good flavor. 2. Ham, not as good as I remembered, but okay. 3. Brisket! Terrible. Read other reviews, they're all accurate. Tough as shoe leather, dry, and inedible. I asked waiter if they would replace with something else. Took it away and returned with more brisket but sliced very thin which made it a bit easier to chew. Problem is, wasn't cooked low& slow to begin with. Very disappointing. 4. Salad was fresh and crisp. 5. Cornbread was low, hard& dry, but tasted okay. Warm sauce in pan is terrific. Wife describes her Cuban sandwich as low meat to bun ratio, and mediocre. Nothing special, and she gets Cubanos whenever we find them. A little side note, that may help understand this place.... Served with the cornbread was little packs of " spread", containing vegetable oil. Not butter!!!! How chintzy! So it seems they cut some corners on quality of product, what a way to treat your former customers. I see no need to return.

I wanted a two meat plate. The menu doesn't have a traditional selection for plate combinations…read more They specialize in sandwiches and family combinations for take home. It looked like they did sell meat by the pound and half pound, however ordering portion sizes for a meat plate, the choices are 1/4 pound increments. I chose the sausage and brisket. There is a single choice of sauce, sweet. The sausage had a consistency of a hotdog, not a typical BBQ joint casing or texture or consistency. The brisket was moist and well cooked, but felt colder to eat quickly while on the plate on a few minutes. They have a way of wanting to direct customers to their way of BBQ and ordering. It works when you are the best. I wish they were but I do not think I will be back. This just isn't what making it easy to order BBQ is all about.

We've been coming here for years and have just never gotten around to writing a long overdue…read morereview. The brisket chili is legitimately one of the best things I've ever had. It's. So. Good. We've done the brisket, pulled pork, turkey, and sausage. All are fantastic, but the brisket comes out on top. Incredible flavor and always so moist. The house made pickles are also a delightful addition. What really put it all over the top was our experience today. I was resisting the bread pudding but just couldn't stop thinking about it and ended up caving and getting it to go after we finished our meal. The man behind the counter, assuming one of the owners, made sure we got to try the homemade vanilla ice cream... game over. It was so damn good. 5/5 for food and service.
