    Brisket Cheesesteak sandwich

Found this little gem, and it did not disappoint! This is truly a family-owned business--Mom was working the front counter while son, Sky, was cooking in the back. We all ordered their take on a cheesesteak, made with tender brisket and the same rich cheese sauce they use for their mac and cheese. It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was clean, with both indoor and outdoor seating, which is especially nice when it's not 108° outside. We'll definitely be back went we are in the area!

I had the brisket sandwich and a loaded potato with brisket our second dish. Run to this place and run fast. The quality and the quantity of the food is more than worth the value. The staff is super nice. We grabbed a to-go menu as I'm old school and like reading off a paper menu. I will be ordering takeout in the future and bringing family and friends for future meals.

OMG, this is the place for great BBQ and smoked meats. This afternoon my husband and I went for a late lunch. He had the Brisket and I had the Stuffed Spud, which had your choice of meat and toppings. I got the Brisket too. Everything was so delicious and the Brisket was fork tender. WoodBarn is family owned and the owner and staff is so friendly and helpful. Dining is casual, family friendly, and really relaxed. The prices are very good and there are daily specials and really good packages. Don't miss this wonderful spot!! AND, they have HOMEMADE Vanilla Bean Ice Cream...again so delicious. Thanks, Penny and John

I saw this on TicTok and had to give it a try. It was about a 45 min drive. They had a couple handicap spots close to the front. I ordered the small family pack. 1lb brisket. 1 lb pork and 2 pints of side which I chose potato salad and beans. Service was wonderful. It was very clean. This was the best pulled pork I have ever eaten. The brisket was moist and tasty. The potato salad was good and so were the beans. The cornbread was so good I had ordered 6 and went and got 4 more togo. I will most definitely come back and tell everyone.

How a two meat plate is served with the size of the serving of a side. .

I wanted a two meat plate. The menu doesn't have a traditional selection for plate combinations. They specialize in sandwiches and family combinations for take home. It looked like they did sell meat by the pound and half pound, however ordering portion sizes for a meat plate, the choices are 1/4 pound increments. I chose the sausage and brisket. There is a single choice of sauce, sweet. The sausage had a consistency of a hotdog, not a typical BBQ joint casing or texture or consistency. The brisket was moist and well cooked, but felt colder to eat quickly while on the plate on a few minutes. They have a way of wanting to direct customers to their way of BBQ and ordering. It works when you are the best. I wish they were but I do not think I will be back. This just isn't what making it easy to order BBQ is all about.

Ribs not so great rib tips never again, brisket was good. Coleslaw too sweet.

Cleaned a few of the storage racks in the garage up and made space and organized it a bit. It was nearly 2 pm when I started getting tired so I stopped and went to take a shower. Once I showered and finally took a seat on my couch to rest, my mother-in-law arrived with some Queen Creek BBQ. I'm about as picky about BBQ as I am about pizza (pizza first though). Let's get into the results even before I talk about the food. AMAZING!!! Everyone in my house could not stop raving about it. The cook, the flavor, look of it all was just delicious. We had pulled pork, even shredded you could see a little of the bark in there. It was absolutely tender and straight BBQ flavors melted in your mouth. I could eat this any day of the week. The brisket was absolutely perfect. And that is coming from a guy who makes pretty amazing brisket himself. The bark looked like something out of the food network. It retained its moisture even through the 15-20 min drive it took to get to my house. It might have been the most tender brisket I have ever eaten. I didn't have any of the sides due to my current dietary restrictions, but everyone else loved them. My daughter could not stop eating the Mac and cheese. My son and wife loved the Cole slaw. Oh... let's not forget the BBQ sauce. Amazing! Think sweet baby rays meets seasoning. LOL This is a 5 Star Plus BBQ Joint. Make it a must have on your list while in Queen Creek.

At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. Overall, I recommend Joe's to anyone who cares more about the ingredient sourcing and quality while enjoying a nice family friendly vibe for a lunch/dinner. A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it!
