Delicious cups of food and staff are always friendly! This was our second time in and hasn't disappointed. We ordered 2 Mandoo Bops and one 2 meat bop with rock and ugly chicken. HIGHLY recommend either chicken, if you like your chicken saucy get the rock chicken, but if you're more of a plain fried chicken person get the ugly chicken, regardless both traste great! If you don't want your potstickers to get soggy I'd recommend asking for them on the side. The only thing is we did ask for our bowls to be "sloppy" which means they add extra sauce and they didn't make them sloppy, but I'm glad I asked for a side of sauce. I'd just check your bowls before leaving! Love this place, give them a try! Don't forget to ask for a punch card, you get one punch per bowl! read more

I have to say, this was phenomenally delicious. It's a very basic concept, but holy cow, these guys have unique blends of tastes and high-quality food down to a science! The sauces were so good! Hi, giving this place a two star and I feel I'm being nice cause the food is really good. It is such a shame though, I had it once and never again. Multiple times I went the door was locked with employees there around 6-7 pm. It wasn't late, as I'm in serving industry I understand that and try not to come right before they close but that was odd. It happened to me three more times and I got annoyed and haven't been back for over 6 months. Again I go today, and they closed early at 5 because of staff reasoning. I feel bad but seems like they need to do a lot. It's a shame I live so close and have only had this place once but been there 5-10 times with no service every time. Not bad! Ordered lunch delivery, did ask for silverware but, none to be had not even a napkin. Wanted kimchi, didn't have it on the delivery menu, did request it but, didn't get it-not restaurants fault. Ordered spice level 8, will definitely do 10 next time as I don't detect any heat. read more

Sorry excuse for anything close to being Korean (sorry if this is your first time trying anything close to korean food, this most certainly is the bottom of the barrel). first of all, the food was absolutely bland. They rely on sauce to put even a remotely resemblance to flavor. Everything is mismanaged and the spice levels aren't even labeled with what sauce you are going to get. WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO DAIRY? They put spicy mayo on a korean dish??? My friend got some nasty lime mayo sauce on her bowl and wasn't even asked if that was okay. Second of all, the service was absolutely the worst. Maybe the workers could flirt with each other AFTER the customer has been served. An annoying boy and girl could not stop bantering with each other while he was trying to train her. They also lacked any social skills because we are annoyed and simply just wanted our food but they took 15 minutes for something that is already cooked. I don't anticipate this place lasting more than a year and I actual hope that they run out of business because this is a joke. read more

The food was amazing. You got rice and noodles in one nice size bowl with two picks of meat and a great spicy level of 4 if you like some heat but not a lot. I have wanted to like this place but the 4 times I have come they are either out of something. Vegetables, spicy Mayo or now the sauce level can only be 5. What kept me coming back was the friendly service ...until today. Avoid at all cost because you will be disappointed for the overall cost. I had to repeat my order 10 times and I was still looked at like I was stupid. He then put about 10 noodles in my bowl that was over full of rice. No real ratio and he dumped whatever sauce he wanted. I wanted to like this place but maybe the owner should work the training and inventory ordering out. I have wanted to experience this place for about a month. It was about 15 minutes away. I had read an article in the Deseret News about them. Me and my wife really liked Cupbop the first time we went! Such a cool idea. However, since then we've waited 30+ minutes each time we've gone in and they are always out of something. My wife got the gluten free bowl and the noodles were uncooked and hard, rice was hard, and it was drowned in mayo. Worst part was watching the employee in back scoop mayo out of a huge bucket with the sauce bottles and his hands while we waited. Wow. Where do I start. Ok let me start by saying I lived in Korea for some time and very familiar with their cuisine. To start this off, I was not impressed by the way the menu was laid out. A little on the difficult side to understand what goes with what. After glancing over at the order from the customer in front I decided to just play it safe with all rice instead of noodles. Most places would add more rice since to make up for the lack of noodles. Not this place. I requested Korean bbq and was confused when they put what seemed to be Bulgogi. Which technically comes in a soup in the Korean culture. I ignored it and just decided to just add vegetables which they considered to be a Combo order. I'm guessing another way to sneak charges on to my order. To continue, I was asked what sauce and after asking a few questions regarding the endless mystery sauces, I received no valuable information aside from the level of spicy. I just took it and ran with it and paid no mind to it. When I arrived home I was not impressed with the Bulgogi lacking flavor overshadowed probably from the dryness of the meat. But as I continued to plow through, I arrived to what seems to be a Bulgogi meat ball(reference pictures) I started peeling away thin layers of meat and found the center uncooked. Really tasty. Mixing very thing together seemed like a questionable thing to do, but it was great. We'll be back and spread the good words. Two things: 1) at $2.95 for 3 potstickers, they aren't cheap! Suggest cooking them fresh or at least zapping them for a few seconds so they seem fresh. 2) we are fussy about soda pop -- admittedly -- but the Pepsi wasn't very good. I've spent well over $1000 at this establishment and have always used the punch cards but on today's visit I was told that she can no longer honor that because cooperate made changes. I purchased 3 rock bop bowls and already had a punch card with 9 punches. One bowl should have been free. I would also like to add when I told her I wanted 3 bowls she questioned me like that was too much food. She then rolled her eyes and acted like it was a huge deal to do her job and she had to make fresh chicken . While trying to checkout "kaden" walked away into the back in the middle of me trying to pay for the food and didn't have a chance to say anything about the punch card etc. it really really sucks because I love this place and the food but this is the worse duo possible working here. I try to not come in the location if I see that either one of these two are working because I promise it's the same scenario every time.
