I always go to the location on Dobson in Mesa but this one was midway between my and my besties house so we went here. Around 3pm when we arrived it was calm we got a clean table and everyone from the hostess to the servers were wonderful. We left around 6 and they were very busy especially for a Wednesday. The food on their Happy hour menu and lunch menu is plentiful delish and we'll priced. We enjoyed some drinks and it was a perfect place for a catch up session.

This is one of those chains that is pretty consistent. The prices are really good and the food is pretty good too. We usually go to the famous Dave's in Mesa, and we're surprised that this famous Dave's in Chandler looks completely different. I really like the clean white farmhouse feel of this location. Even the chairs in the area we were sitting were really very farmhouse and very pretty. There was bar table made with a scooter - - very cute! Our server was very sweet and our food came out pretty quickly. Even though it was a weekend they had a lunch special which we all took advantage of. The price was right for quite a bit of food. We had a little of everything, and it was good, although the brisket was not as tender as it usually is. But the thing that was absolutely best where the rib tips. I didn't order any for myself, but after tasting hubby's, I made it my mind that that is exactly what I'd get next time. I had seen a chocolate silk pie in a case when we walked in and of course had to have some. It was also delicious!

The food tasted great, but the portion size of the two-meat combo was disappointing--it has been reduced significantly. The service was fast, and we were seated immediately. There were TV monitors all around showing the football game (no sound, which is good for us!).

Lunch - BBQ Stuffed Baked Potato with BBQ Pulled Chicken, with a side of broccoli

Famous Dave's has a pretty good lunch menu that's available daily 11am-4pm. My family stopped in on a Saturday around 2pm for a late lunch. We were seated right away and ordered the traditional wings double winger from the appetizer menu. From the lunch menu, I got the BBQ stuffed baked potato with BBQ pulled chicken and a side of broccoli. It comes with a corn muffin too, which is one of my favorite food items there. My family also got the baked potato with Georgia chopped pork, 1-meat lunch platter, and 2-meat lunch platter. The 2-meat platter is only $1.50 more than the 1-meat platter, but the meat portions are smaller. I enjoyed my meal and felt pretty content in terms of fullness, but others left a little hungry. Our waitress also disappeared for a while, so we had to ask another waiter to find her for us. I like that each table has a roll of paper towels, wet wipes, and different BBQ sauces to choose from. They also have TVs there if you want to watch a game with your meal.

Just got my lunch order and it was a disaster with the meat. It was supposed to come with rip tips, spare ribs, and brisket. All was bad. the beans were the only thing edible. The fake ribs were hard as a rock and looked like webbed feet. Simply Horrible

Feast for two. Corn, potato wedges. Bread also which is also under the meat. We chose ribs ,chicken and brisket.

Went and got the feast for two. Was greeted right away. Great open space for dining. Would definitely come again . Food was very tasty . All the meat options and sides were delicious.

Our server Erica was phenomenal. She had a great personality and really friendly. She took our order and was delivered promptly. The burnt ends were nice and crispy but soft. Then we ordered the dinner for 2, which had ribs, e bbq brisket, fries, corn and with 2 sides mac n cheese with jalapeños and baked beans. It also had 2 corn breads but we ordered a half dozen more. Overall it's been a while since we ate here. The place was clean and it had a good ambiance.

Ribs burnt ends brisket baked beans I ate the Corn Bread Muffin

Good and service I made a big order and Paid extra for meat my burnt tips I received 6 small pieces and the brisket 3 slim slices and was Missing my loaded baked potato corn and bottle of sauce the Texas toast hard as rock couldn't be eaten when I called they didn't offer me anything special just said we will refund all the food was cold not good the one in queen creek much better and food was still warm and nothing forgotten going to call corporate

The meal for two

George and Gather has been high on my list to check out, since opening one year ago! I've heard…read morenothing but positive things about this place and now I understand why! There is a parking lot and indoor/outdoor seating. I love the decor and ambiance of this place, especially the lighting in the dining room. They have a separate area with a small shop and cafe with desserts and some grab and go items. I will be back to try a coffee! My friend and I came here for the pre-set restaurant week menu. I made a reservation the night before, but it wasn't too busy while we were there on a Tuesday at 530pm. Our server Allison was great and very attentive. For appetizers we tried the whipped goat cheese spread and wagyu meatballs. I thought the goat cheese spread was delicious! For entrees we choose the pasta pomodoro and the farmers market pizza which were both very tasty. The pizza had so much flavor l, especially the crust, and the texture of the pasta was perfect!! For dessert we tried the affogato and apricot cheesecake. Oh My Gosh that cheesecake was the BEST dessert I've had in a while!!!! You have to try it and I can't recommend it enough!!!! I can't wait to come back!!

When I arrived and spoke with spouse he had already been waiting 20+ minutes. When I checked in with hostess to see if there had been any changes I was promptly schooled that "he was told "XYZ" and there's one table ahead of us still... I disregarded that vibe, figured because it was "busy" or because it was "Saturday evening" and everywhere is busy... I felt the senior hostess was curt when I inquired about the status of our wait, so I tried to brush it off. Just inefficient all the way around. From seating and neglecting to ask about seating preference (could there have been a shorter wait?), initial greeting by server, or was it a bus boy?, beverage order and wait for food. Couldn't even get a full glass of water poured or full carafe brought to the table while we waited for service. It was all very disappointing and I feel completely led astray by the ratings and reviews. I truly can not believe we waited 1 1/2 hrs just to be seated so we could eat pizza. Oh, but wait! It's pizza on 130 year old sourdough yeast?! Whatever. The pizza was alright, but the entire experience certainly didn't improve the taste of the pizza. Tourist trap? Maybe. Trendy? Because it's located in downtown Chandler? And then there's the parking scenario. If you're staying at the San Marcos or the other hotel downtown, walking here will be quicker than trying to find a parking spot. Carpool would be my other suggestion because parking really is a premium. And I want to add, the hostess never came to let us know a table was ready. We were only offered a table when my son went in to check the status. Only then did he get asked if we would be open to outdoor seating. Maybe Brunch has something more to offer. IDK. But I'm certainly not inclined to recommend or dine here again.

It comes with chicken, shrimp, and sausage and OMG -- it was amazing. I don't know what they do with their sauce, but I seriously want the recipe. It was that good. On top of the great food, the prices are super reasonable. And for $5, you can get a Tito's and cranberry -- anytime, any day. I don't know many restaurants offering deals like that anymore. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. Great food, great prices, and definitely a new go-to spot. We'll absolutely be back.

Never thought I'd have to make a negative post for this restaurant, but it's time to speak up…read more I used to love coming here a few years ago for my steaks/carrots. I'm the only one of my family who still kept making a 30+ minute drive because it was a decent price for decent quality. They also have amazing carrots (sometimes). Over the years, especially nowadays, I cannot say the same thing now. You may get a good steak, or it may be a horrible steak. It may be seasoned perfectly, or you can receive overseasoned/underseasoned. You can order how you want your steak, but it depends on the cook. You may get an overcooked steak or undercooked. You may receive only part of your order if you order takeout. The carrots may be absolutely delicious one time, horrible the next time. Quality control is a major issue here recently. I have always been the one in my family to say "Oh it's not a big deal, I'm sure they're busy and just got the order wrong," etc. but this time I cannot think of an excuse. To order an 8 oz steak, paying for an 8 oz steak - only for that steak to have an absurd amount of fat to where it basically turned into around 5 oz, I am genuinely speechless this time. I am a regular customer here, and while I've had really horribly made food and really well made food, this inconsistency is not okay. I don't think the 30+ minute drive is worth it anymore after this experience. I have also noticed the managers that work here now compared to a few years back don't really seem to care if they get your business or not. You can tell them part of your order is wrong, and they stare at you as if you'll gladly eat it anyway until you have to verbalize that you would like it redone. Overall, it's been a pretty bad experience lately, and I just don't see it being worth it anymore. Edit: I decided to give them another shot today, the manager I spoke to was very kind about everything after I had explained what had happened last time and said they would make sure it would not happen. I do appreciate how kind they were. Fingers crossed on the meal tonight!

The bar area is especially eye-catching, fully stocked and glowing with color, and the dining room feels open yet still comfortable. Service was solid--friendly, attentive, and everything came out in a timely manner. For food, we ordered the Durango burger and the chicken pasta, and just a heads-up--the portions in the photos are half sizes because we split both entrées. The Durango burger looked thick, juicy, and absolutely amazing when it arrived... but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. We tried adding ketchup to bring it to life, but it still didn't quite hit that "wow" factor. The chicken pasta had a strong first impression--it was spicy and tasted really good on the first few bites. However, after a while, it started to lean a bit too salty. Also, I wish there had been more chicken in the dish to balance everything out. On the bright side, the pineapple martini was a win--refreshing, smooth, and definitely something I'd order again. Overall, this place shines in atmosphere and service, with food that's good but just a step away from being great. With a little more balance in flavor, it could easily be a 5-star spot.

Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. After easily finding parking in walking distance from the entrance, we arrived shortly before midnight of the 7th. They were closing soon, but we had enough time to order a round of craftly-made cocktails and beers to down quickly. It helps when your friend knows the bartender. Enter smiley face emoji here. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return.
