I have seen Lenny's for years and always say we will go try it out!! Well a friend recommend we go for dinner this past weekend.. Love that you can go on to dine or go through the drive through! As you walk in literally go back in time! They have it decorated so cute, love the vibe in here. I loved seeing all the different wall are the holds so much nostalgia. The menu is huge you have burgers, chili, dogs, seafood, such as fried shrimp, baskets, fish, and chips root beer floats they have so much stuff to choose from. One of the biggest things for me is they have gluten-free buns! Yes, so for all those people who want a good burger, but do not want to get a protein style go to Lenny's because they have the buns for the burgers! We ordered the avocado bacon cheeseburger with fries, the rodeo burger with fries and a single hamburger, chili dog, and everything was delicious. Everyone was happy and everyone can't wait to go back! The employee was very kind. They brought the food out to us and very helpful when we needed any condiments! We will be going back! read more

We really love Lenny's Burger. This particular location is a really well themed '50s diner. It has the red vinyl boots and the checkerboard floor and even a neon lit jukebox. Food is ordered at the counter. The menu is burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, chicken tenders - - standard '50s diner food. We ordered the pastrami fries, which were french fries smothered in Chile cheese and sliced with pastrami. It was a really big serving and tasted fantastic. Also order the hot dog with my favorite toppings - - mustard, diced tomatoes, onion, and jalapenos. Like the fries it came loaded with toppings and was delicious. It was cooked on a grill, not steamed or boiled. Last week, we had the fish and chips. Like the rest it was really delicious. This is fast food eating in a really cool atmosphere. I'm not a huge burger fan but I really really really like this one. I had the double burger that had thousand island sauce on it. The fries were decent but not anything great. The indie is super cute and has a classic diner feel. They also have a drive through which I thought was convenient. The guy working the counter was friendly and also helpful. read more

Pretty good. Went around 5pm. Kind of a small restaurant. Kind of hot inside with the grill and west sun beating on the glass windows. Lots of drive through. Fries were amazing. Burgers were OK. All the drinks were warm so just added a ton of ice. Lemonade tasted weird. We were going to do floats, but just way too hot to stick around. The one thing I can honestly say about eating here at Lenny's for the last few years is that the food is always good and consistent we absolutely love their burgers and fries they're to me the best in Mesa way surpass Red Robin or Fudrucker's there's a couple of locations if you happen to be craving a good burger and you see one while you're out and about stop in and try some of the food. I'm a fan of either the mushroom burger or the hatches green chili burger both are super yummy on top on one of the juicy meat patties grilled to perfection. read more

This place came recommended by a local and thought I'd check it out. Unfortunately, this mom and pop restaurant doesn't have good food. As soon as I entered Lenny's, I was greeted with an unpleasant aroma of food spoilage, hydrogen sulfide, grease and sewage. The cashier was courteous but faintly aloof. The young cook had hair pulled back with shorts strands draped over face and should have been pinned back, but was pleased to see the cook used gloves. How often are they changed? I'll never know. To best describe the food, It's a blend between state fair/carnival and Long John Silver. The lettuce on the burger was yellow and wilted mixed with green shred. Yuck! Almost immediately after consuming the food, I experienced various symptoms such as gastrointestinal issues and respiratory symptoms (wheezing & coughing) and headache which are common symptoms due to seed oils used at this establishment. I hate giving poor reviews for small businesses, but hopefully the owners read the reviews and make the necessary adjustments for a successful future. Sadly, I will not be able to support your local establishment at this time. Best of luck to the owners. Hope your restaurant does not end up on AZ Family Dirty diners report. read more

We ordered for the first time online. I chose no sautéed onions on our 2 Mexican burgers. When we got them they both had lots of RAW onions on them. I have tried to contact this company for a couple days but the Mesa number only goes to voicemail (which I did leave a msg) and the other location numbers just ring and ring. I'm sure they'd make this right if I could get ahold of them but their customer service is definitely lacking, communication wise. The burgers were both over $10 each. read more

We went on a Monday night, and hit a dinner rush. 6ish. Dinner rush is five tables and 2 cars in drive thru. Staff acted overwhelmed, despite 8-10 people. More staff than most places, these days, so cheers. We waited...not terribly long either. Except for acting like they had never seen so many people, the team was nice. Lenny's is one of the coolest looking restaurants in town with the iconic 50s themed decor & tschotskes covering virtually all the walls. I like alot of eye candy and enjoyed the Elvis and Bogart etc. pics(even an Elvis gold record plaque). Service was amazing by Manager Michelle. I started out with a strawberry/vanilla malted milkshake which was top ten best I ever had. The New Mexico hatch chili's burger and onion rings were delicious and filled my tank. The ambience was fun and I was expecting The Fonz to drop in and tell me what's up. Great restaurant for families as well. read more

Had a corn dog. I haven't had one in over 10 years and it really got the spot. I wanted a root beer float too but they were out.

Quality is horrible. I ordered a single with mayo and mustard, no tomato. When I got home I realized they had just taken a burger that was under the heatlamp and taken the tomato off. Default sauce was still on there. Which would have been edible if the bun hadn't been sitting for 45 minutes. Might win award for the soggiest bun I've ever experienced. I've given this place 3 chances now, and it's always wrong. On the plus side, I think they may have stopped charging a service fee for using a card, soooo... congrats on making it to the 21st century?? Save your money and go to Haven or Giant Hamburger for a solid charbroiled burger in the area. read more

Establishment was clean and the staff very friendly. The food was not good. Mom and I ordered patty melts. The rye bread was super thick and soft. The rye bread was not grilled whatsoever. Usually patty melts are juicy burgers with grilled onions between a grilled cheese. This was very dry tasting. The thickness of the bread took away from the meat especially since the bread was soft and not grilled. The fries were not cooked all the way. They still had that soggy mushy feeling taste. This has always been a great place to come but over the past 2 years it has been TERRIBLE. The burger buns are mush when you get your burger, the WAIT is forever, 20 mins in the drive through today. The lettuce was wilted and the French fries used to be my favorite. Now every time they are itty bitty pieces and burned. The fry bag was barley filled up. The customer service people are miserable and happiness and care is nonexistent. Sad to see a good place go down hill like this. We won't be back. The food is good and the general decor is also nice but the workers make it unenjoyable. when I walked in no smiles no greeting, I looked in the back to see a group of workers just all talking and multiple of them just started starring at me very weirdly, then while ordering(I ORDER THE SAME THING EVERYTIME) the worker got one thing wrong which isn't an issue, the issue was that he tried to tell me I was wrong and didn't say that when I know for a fact he just misheard me because I've never ordered anything else. Saturday night at 9:10pm,their website says open till 10:00pm,but the "oh no" looks we got from the staff when we arrived should have been our first clue that it wasn't going to go well. And it didn't. Restaurant is cool on the inside,decorated nicely and clean too. Menu looks good, sandwiches and FF mainly along with ice cream too. Our orders were a corn dog,good taste...single cheeseburger,meat warm and a frozen taste with some soy flavor as well and a soggy bun...cheese FF,fine...breaded chicken sandwich was actually a two chicken STRIP sandwich,disgusting texture and taste...bacon ranch FF were yuck with bacon being overcooked...cowboy burger,just acceptable not memorable...original FF good...cheeseburger served Keto style,ok but warm only with same soy flavor. No other guests in the restaurant,so Employees locked the doors at 9:45pm, then all eyes are upon us to wrap it up. Left at 9:50pm and two of us thanked the employee who unlocked the door and let us out however no response or acknowledge from them.
