Nice and super clean, fresh poke food! I like their lunch combos. Great deals!!! And great service from Jaelyn, I will return!!! read more

When my husband and I first came here in 2024 the food and service were excellent and fresh tasting. The manager at the time was professional and welcoming, while every visit was ALWAYS consistent. However since he left, this place has definitely lost their taste and service. For the last year and a half every visit has been bowls made so inconsistently. With heavy, and I do mean heavy handed sauce or ginger or rice/salad ratio. No bowl is ever consistent with every visit. We stopped going here for a couple months and tried it out again today and this time has been the worst. For some reason there's white cottage consistency at the bottom of the bowl, excessive amount of ginger, and the salmon tastes like it's been sitting in the fridge for days. If you are looking for high quality fish and a consistent poke bowl, go to a poke spot in Chandler. read more

My wife and I really like poke. I find Koibito to be a step above the others like Ahi Poke. If you like food to have that fresh feel, Koibito Poke is a great choice! read more

I've visited this place a few years back on vacation and wrote it down since I genuinely loved my experience, at the time they offered free miso soup with my poke bowl, I'm not sure if they still do that but it really made my experience and heavily contributed to influencing it to be in my top favorite poke spots I had been to and would hope to visit again! read more

Customer service here is always exceptional. I went yesterday to celebrate National Poke Day and Ava did an excellent job recommending items and was very patient with my order. I will definitely keep coming in because I appreciate all she did. Excellent service and the food tastes great! Thanks again Ava! read more

Kobito Poke is definitely a must try! This was my first time coming here, and I'm already looking forward to coming back soon. They have a wide selection of different types of protein, add ins, sauces, and toppings to choose from. I got the small, which is 2 scoops of protein. I highly recommend trying the Hawaiian Tuna, it was my favorite! They also have a lot of sauces that I have never seen at other poke places. Needless to say, I was very happy with the amount of food I received in my bowl and the quality of how everything tasted. Highly recommend! read more

Lovely place to stop and get some fresh poke your way! I build my own bowl you can choose based on, protein, add ons, and garnishes. They also now have miso soup. Every time I visit food has consistently been fresh, tasty, and the place is clean and bright. Parking is in front of the store and they have a restroom and some outdoor seating as well. Staff has always been courteous and helpful each visit. If you get the app there are perks that are pretty frequent. A great fresh food choice. read more

I came here on a whim to order lunch and even though it was a bit of a drive the place is bright, fresh, vibrant, and fresh n a great location. I was quickly greeted and once it got down to brass tax, the menu was abundant and delicious. They have "pre-built" options or "make you own", and either way you cannot go wrong. The service person making the orders was very nice! Could tell enjoyed their job! Even told Dad jokes! Haha The bowl was yummy and full of protein. I got the Hawaiian Trio with Octopus. I saw another 2 enjoying their lunch who weren't sure what sauce they would like so the employee gave them a taster cup of each one to find their favorite! That was Nice!! Restaurant was small but modern and new!! They even cater large parties! Thought that was pretty cool to keep in mind for future. Unlike most poke places they also have chicken and tofu options to meet all dietary restrictions and needs!! Because I was wearing my work shirt - serving the Chandler-Gilbert community, I was given a small discount. That was much appreciated!! I will definitely come back. It's only 10 minutes drive from my site. Next time I was to try the Mochi and miso! I took mines to go this time. read more

Amazing food! Very clean and the girl (Ava I believe her name was) was so helpful! I will be back again.

I decided to take my mom to Koibito Poke today for lunch. We got helped by Alice, who was kind and understanding for what we were looking for in our bowls. At each section, she asked if there was anything else we would like to add to our bowls. I enjoy adding different ingredients each time I visit because I want to see what taste well with one another, and they allow me to do that. The food is always fresh and delicious. No matter what I try, the food is always amazing! I like that they have music in the restaurant that is not loud and overpowering, so I can have a conversation with my mom when we go out for lunch . That is one thing I look for in a restaurants and Koibito Poke is perfect for that. read more

The customer service here is awesome! My server, Ava, was very helpful and prepared my meal quickly. The poke tasted fresh and had generous toppings! read more

Clean shop and friendly owner! Stopped by here for the first time and got a small poke bowl (includes two scoops of protein). The fish seemed fresh and there were plenty of topping options. Majority of the toppings are similar to other poke places, but I did notice they have shaved brussels sprouts, which is something you don't typically see. My poke bowl breakdown: - Base: Combo (rice + greens) - Protein: 1 scoop salmon, 1 scoop Hawaiian tuna - Sauce: Koibito House + Citrus Ponzu - Toppings: edamame, cucumber, green onion, ginger, masago, cilantro, seaweed salad, crab mix - Dry toppings: furikake, fried onions I got a small bowl, which looked pretty small at first, but once you eat everything, it's actually very filling! Will be back :) read more

Koibito Poke - Small Poke Bowl w/salmon & Hawaiian tuna - Poke Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Words cannot express how EXCITED I am for this new poke spot to be opening. I have been waiting for one to open up close to my house instead of having to drive 10+ mins to one , and when I first saw signs this was opening up on the corner of Gilbert and Warner, I immediately looked up the other locations to see the reviews/photos, and let me say, my expectations I built up, I was not disappointed when I got to try for myself! Today was the first day I saw a Now Open sign and I knew that was what I was going to be getting for lunch. Walking into the space, it's nice and bright, very clean and seating inside. I was greeted immediately walking in by the nicest, sweetest and happiest guy (I'm sorry I wish I knew your name!) He explained the menu to me with great detail , and even said if I wanted to try any of the sauces, I could . He was not only friendly and knowledgeable with his job, but he also made great nonbusiness conversation and genuinely seemed happy to be there and I love seeing that in a work place . I created my own bowl. I got what I typically do at any poke place, rice/ salad mixture with 2 scoops of salmon and 1 scoop of tuna. What I love about here, is they actually weigh out your protein to make sure you are getting the oz's you should for what size bowl you order; that way, you don't feel you are getting gypped out of any protein. I also love that the seaweed salad, crab salad, masago (or cucumber salad) is not extra cost. However , if you want extra scoop of any of those then there is a cost. With my medium size order and the scoop of crab salad and seaweed salad , it was plenty (and I eat a lot). I always get ponzu sauce on my bowls, I did however, take him up on his offer if I wanted any other sauces to go (there were so many good sauces to try) and tried the wasabi one and it was sooooooo good! I will now always get that sauce in addition to my ponzu. I have tried poke at a ton of different places. As excited as I was for one to open by me, I really was hoping it was going to be good. I could not be MORE HAPPY that this is the place that's closest to me now because it is top tier and one of the best poke spots I've had, in service and food quality! So DELICIOUS! I will absolutely be a regular and already created my account on the app to earn those reward points. See you guys real soon! read more

I just adore Koibito Poke. I love the freshness of the fish and veggies/toppings. I do think Koibito is the best poke spot in the East Valley easily. My favorite fish is the marinated tuna and I usually pair it with salad/brown rice. The toppings and sauces are so good too! They have great customer service on top of that. I tried their miso soup with tofu which was also good, soothing. They have available are mochi and teas/lemonades along with typical soda drinks. The ambiance is nice, clean and brightly lit. I look forward to coming back here always read more

The food was fresh and delicious! I recommend the spicy tuna and shrimp. We got a medium and large build-your-own bowl along with mochi for dessert. The service was excellent and quick- we were offered samples of the sauces to see which ones we preferred. We will definitely be coming back! read more

The service person who took my order was super friendly and helpful. She explained how the sizing works, I love that the size you choose dictates the amount of protein scoops vs just being more rice. I ordered the small (2 scoops of protein) and the ratio of rice to protein to toppings was perfect. All of the veggies seemed fresh, one of my favorite options was the shaved Brussel sprouts. All of their sauces are gluten free (made with Tamari instead of soy sauce) which was a pleasant surprise. I'm excited to return soon and try out more combinations! read more

Portions size was remarkable and the staff was help in guiding decision making about flavor pairings.

Very inconsistent. I love poke and this place is right in my direct daily driving route so it's definitely on my mind often as my go to. Flavor and quality of the food is very good, now to the annoyances... my daughter always gets the kids bowl with crab as the protein option which can only ever be done in store but today they refused to allow that without paying extra. My husband only gets the chicken bowls and is given the choice between 2 types and I was told in store last month by a new employee that it could only be grilled chicken and not Asian chicken. Certain perks can only be in store like getting the free kids meal ice cream mochi which is why I thought the crab protein option was the same getting regular instead of spicy, but that apparently isn't the case. If you're going to order, to avoid the inconsistent service be sure to order online, but you'll also lose out on the opportunity to broaden your kids horizons by showing them what the ingredients look like in person read more

First time here. Won't be the last! James was amazing and provided the best customer service. He took time to explain all the choices and did so with a joy and enthusiasm that was real! We sat and observed the same service for everyone! The food was amazing. I mixed the proteins and even the sauces. If you can't find something here you aren't hungry! Shrimp, POKĒ , crab, chicken and more. I loved it. Can't wait to go back ! Try it you'll thank me! read more

The food was amazing, some of the best poke in AZ that I've tried. The staff was even better. Kael and Mari were super nice and made the experience great. Will be coming back! The only thing that wasn't perfect was my avocado in the bowl was stiff so I had to take it out. read more

Koibito Poke - Spicy crab and tuna bowl - Poke Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

I was in the Gilbert area and I was really hungry and really craving pokē, so I chose to go to Koibito since it is the only poke place I could find near this area. Unfortunately, I chose wrong. The bowl I ordered was NOT edible :( I stopped eating the bowl after only a few bites for several different reasons: * The rice was hard and chewy, likely due to it sitting in the cooker all day. * The pale yellow pineapple did not have much of a taste, but the little taste it did have was sour....not sweet and not juicy (like fresh/ripe pineapple should be). * The chopped cilantro had a lot of stems in it, which is honestly to be expected, but there was literally a stalk of the cilantro plant in my bowl (see photo). * I know that it can be difficult getting fresh fish to Arizona, but the texture of their salmon was firm, yet slimy? Not to mention that the color was a dull orange and NOT a bright pink or bright orange -- a big red flag for raw salmon (see photo). It reminded me of cat food so much that I actually offered a cube or 2 to my cat and he loved it (lol), meanwhile I am now dealing with gut rot. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand and noticed that a majority of the 4 or 5 star reviews either only mention the customer service/the atmosphere, or it is that persons first time trying pokē. On the other hand, the reviews that are actually about the food are mostly 1 or 2 star reviews. So now I am very very hungry, very disappointed, and very sad about throwing away $18, especially because now I will have to spend another $18 getting food somewhere else :'( read more

I'm a bit of a sushi snob and the quality was great! I also wanted to point out your staff, I had dinner with my teenage son at your Gilbert location and the people you have working made eye contact, greeted and were pleasant. I didn't feel rushed or like a bother which is something hard to find since no one believes in service anymore. After trying a new coffee place this morning with horrible service I thought of the contrast between your establishment and others. Great staffing, great product , will be back and will recommend. read more

i drove the extra miles to this location when ours at The Plant closed permanently. the owner was sitting at a table in the dining room, over listening to my interaction with the very kind and friendly employee, and interjecting and correcting me and the employee which made for a very awkward time. the employee got my garnish wrong probably because the owner was making everyone frazzled sadly my soup had a fly in it when I opened the cover. not sure I will return to this location or any that this particular fellow owns read more
