Came here in an hour lunch break and had all you can eat sushi. Delicious! Enjoyed myself. Cool place and quick service.

Stumbles onto this place after a long day of travel! The building can be deceiving but when you walk into Sakura, what a beautiful sight. First, the people were delightful. Ordering was easy and the food came out so quick! Of course, it's an all you can eat so we ordered a variety of things. All delicious! My favorite was the sashimi, which was so fresh. It was only 30.99 per person for dinner and well worth the price! Try it! We're considering going back for lunch!

Really great prices, the food is always served very quickly and tastes very fresh, and service is very friendly and checks in on you often.

This place is tucked away at the end of a strip mall with Target. There's plenty of parking. At lunchtime it's $19.99 all you can eat (in 2 hours). Lots of booths for parties of 4-6 and some table that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups. The dining area is clean with numerous TVs to watch while you eat. Xia was our server. He took great care of us while we dined! It was fairly busy (maybe 75% full) but the service and food were top notch! My favorites were the Las Vegas and Out of Control rolls. Going to try the udon and soba when I return!

Dinner with ayce apps, teriyaki, rice, noodles, udon, sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Decent selection and quality for $30.99. Sign on door shows new name: makoto. Would definitely recommend. Five stars. Gold roll and one below it with tuna were my 2 favorite rolls. The teriyaki salmon was excellent along with salmon roe sashimi. Salmon skin hand roll was also great. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting previously called SAKURA Sushi, now MAKOTO Sushi the all-you-can-eat restaurant is very reasonable price, food was good and the restaurant was very nice the painting on the wall were very beautiful and everyone was friendly, but the most important thing was the service and servers were amazingly efficient we never had to for a waitress they were on top of it. I recommend Makoto Sushi all you can eat sushi to all

Been a while since I had last come here. This then we ordered a lot, it's definitely a great value for the price. Service is fast and they don't really delay things and keep checking in on you. The sushi this time, I felt in some of the rolls the portions were slightly lesser or thinner cuts. But however considering the value , it's definitely worth the price. Towards the end I even tried their ice cream. The green tea is an interesting flavor. First time trying, and I really liked it. The pork cutlets is pretty good as well. In terms of the sushi quality, id have given it a lower rating. But purely in terms of value for money I gave it full 5/5. But in the past I remember the sushi quality being better. Hope it was a one of experience

My husband and I were craving sushi so we decided to check this place out on a Sunday. Come hungry! The menu is great- they had everything from a wide variety of tempura, salad, sashimi, hand rolls, specialty rolls, ice cream. My favorites were the miso soup, crab tempura, and the specialty rolls. You can go wrong with any of the orders. Our orders came out fresh and in good timing. Our waitress was good and kept our orders coming. I'd come back again.

So good I come here to eat alone lol.

Not the best but definitely one of the top places I've visited while here in Mesa. I've been here too many times to count. It's delicious.

It's an average spot not anything special. Service was decent. Food was mid. Could probably get better at fry's. But overall just average.

The atmosphere is welcoming for both regular guests and those celebrating special occasions, and it really stands out as a place where dinner turns into an event. What makes it especially enjoyable is how interactive and festive everything feels. Celebrations--especially birthdays--are taken to another level with music, singing, and even traditional Japanese masks, creating a lively and entertaining environment that everyone gets to be part of. On top of the experience, the food is consistently excellent. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you, with great flavor and quality across the board. There must have been several birthdays being celebrated that night because we heard the birthday song quite a few times . I think my brother really enjoyed himself too, which made the night even better. Just a heads up -- it's definitely a lively, noisy place, so probably not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet dinner. But if you want good food and a fun, energetic atmosphere, this is a great spot.

he Best Ramen I've Ever Had - Ramen Nation Delivers Perfection…read more If you're a ramen lover, Ramen Nation is an absolute must-visit. I've had my fair share of ramen, but nothing comes close to what I experienced here. From the moment I stepped in, the rich aroma of simmering broth and fresh ingredients set the stage for an unforgettable meal. I ordered their signature tonkotsu ramen, and I can confidently say it was the best bowl of ramen I've ever had. The broth was unbelievably creamy, packed with umami, and had that perfect depth of flavor that can only come from hours of slow simmering. Every sip felt like pure comfort. The noodles? Absolute perfection--cooked to the ideal firmness. They soaked up the broth beautifully without getting soggy. And the toppings--perfectly seasoned ajitama egg, crisp green onions, and a hint of black garlic oil--elevated the dish even further. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about their ramen, making the experience even better. If you're in the area and haven't been to Ramen Nation yet, you're seriously missing out. This place isn't just serving ramen--it's crafting an experience. 11/10, will be dreaming about this bowl until my next visit!

After reading a couple of the reviews back then, we weren't very enthusiastic about trying it, but the reviews seemed better so we gave it a shot and it was a good experience. We ordered crab rangoons, chicken dumplings, veggie spring rolls and two seafood ramen bowls with miso broth (after we confirmed that the broth has no pork at all). My husband picked up the order within about 20-25 minutes of ordering. The bill was about $45. Everything tasted good. All three appetizers were in a paper bag together and the sauces were on the side. Favorites in order would be: chicken dumpling is the best, then the crab Rangoon then the spring rolls. The ramen bowls had very good flavor. The miso broth worked really well with the seafood and the toppings and wasn't thin or watery. The seafood mix was imitation crab, shrimps, and muscles and we found a seasoned egg hiding in the broth which was a nice "free" surprise. The toppings were bamboo shoots, corn, green onions and bean sprouts as well as sesame seeds. All in all, a good restaurant with a solid 4 star take out experience. We will be retuning when we want a quick ramen fix in the area. Next time, we will try the spicy beef ramen with miso broth.

When you enter the Gilbert Gateway Towne Center, you have to maneuver through tricky shared parking to find a space. We dined half past 6pm on Memorial Day, so thankfully parking was easier as I believe some businesses were closed for the holiday. Though parking is tight, there is no shortage of seating in this establishment. Some bench-style seating as well as chairs to accommodate whichever you prefer. What We Ordered: ~ The Great Greek Gyro (no onions) x2: My boyfriend remarked that the gyro meat tastes like it was reheated, which I also noticed it slightly tougher than a more authentic one I've had previously. Still a very solid gyro given this is a chain and fast service place with a generous portion. ~ Sides with our meals: French fries and lemon potatoes Personally, the lemon potatoes are a pass next time as very buttery and heavy. The French fries however, were fantastic! They appear to be twice fried to have an extra crunchiness. Overall, if I'm in the area and in the mood for Mediterranean, then I'd pop in to The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. P.s. Don't forget to add your number for rewards via Toast!
