There's only one worker manning all the stations, which isn't terrible but he's not very friendly. The pricing is definitely very competitive compared to other poke spots. But where it missed the mark was the flavor and portion size. There was a lotttt of rice and very little fish given, I had 6 pieces of tuna. The scoop they use for the fish is very small, looks to be a small size ice cream scoop. Some of the pieces of fish I had didn't seem as fresh and had a mushy bite. It wasn't spoiled but you could taste it was nearing the end. If you're looking for "value" poke bowl perhaps this is for you but with how little fish is given the "value" is not as much as you think. read more

The house spicy sauce is excellent and their jalapeños are the spiciest and best. The owners are super friendly and treat everyone the best ! Strongly recommend, we come every week. read more

Fresh fish, big cuts of salmon, amazing topping choices, perfect amount of sauce. It's the first time I've finished a poke bowl and could've gone for more. Born in Hawaii, now living in Texas for a few years, so working in Arizona for a few weeks has been great since there are so many poke places in or near the Chandler area, and Lomi Poke one of the best! Did you know that poke served with salmon is not a part of the original Hawaii cuisine? The classic Poke during the late 1800s was prepared from raw ahi tuna or cured octopus. But if you need me, I'll be daydreaming about salmon. I love that dang fish. I haven't tried the poke at Lomi Poki yet but I've been getting the Teriyaki Salmon Bento. They cook the salmon on the flat top right before your eyes so you know the food will be hot. I suspect the egg roll and gyoza in the bento is of the frozen pre-packaged variety but it's okay. A nice refreshing salad is served on the side. As for the grilled salmon, I didn't realize they served them in tiny nugget-sized pieces which was interesting. It's not a deal breaker but definitely something worth noting. So yeah, not bad for a quick takeout dinner after working out at EOS next door! read more

One of my favorite lunch options! I work just down the road, and every time I come in for a quick lunch, the service is fantastic. I've never sat to eat there, but it's always been incredibly clean. The salmon bento box is my favorite! The (owners I assume) are so wonderful as well, and we sometimes go weekly it's so good. They have some great lunch deals too! Poke is now the latest thing my husband and I are trying around town. Yesterday, my we were in the area so we decided to try Lomi. I ordered through Yelp, build your own bowl with two proteins. I ordered the same combination for myself and my husband. It was ready ahead of pick up time, I gave it about 10 minutes after ordering and then I stepped into the restaurant, the bowls were almost ready. For our proteins, we both chose the shrimp because it's cooked and then added multiple toppings. This is the first place that doesn't have mangoes but instead, they offer pineapples. No extra charge for the crab salad. I added for the first time seaweed salad. Normally I like it but I think when it has to be served really cold otherwise the taste kinda changes and it doesn't taste as good. I think when it was added too close to the warm rice, it didn't taste great to me so I pushed it aside. Everything else was delicious. The shrimps were cold. I chose the sweet chili sauce. It blended well with everything but overall, the bowl was slightly on the sweeter side especially with the addition of pineapple. I might try another sauce next time and might skip the pineapple as well as the seaweed salad. The restaurant is currently closed for dine in. They have social distancing enforced, everyone wears a mask and gloves and you are required to wear a mask when you walk in. They also have a hand sanitizer at the counter. Prices are average and for the size of the bowl, this was a delicious quick dinner that was easily eaten in the car! Give them a try! read more

I got the build your own poke with 3 proteins (salmon, Lomi salmon, and Hawaiian tuna) on white rice ($11.99) First of all, they add A TON of rice to your bowl, which accounted for 80% of the bowl. The scoops they use for the protein are small ice cream scoops. There were fresh pieces of fish here and there, but overall it was average. Their toppings were fresh, unlimited, and free (minus the avocado and kimchi which are +$1) so I got a little bit of everything. I liked the pickled radish, seaweed, and the sesame seeds were a must. The wasabi was quite bland, so ask for extra! It's a heavy bowl of food, but the ratio of rice to fish is way off. Also, the rice was quite warm coming out of the rice cooker, which warmed the fish to a slightly uncomfortable temperature. I wasn't the biggest fan of paying $12 for a bowl of rice, but I ate it begrudgingly. read more

As someone who lived right next to the ocean for 5 years, I can be harsh on fish quality here in the desert. Lomi Poki is the BEST Poki I've had in the entire state of Arizona. Yeah, I said it. It's true. We got takeout tonight and ordered online not knowing what to expect but the quality and fresh ingredients absolutely blew me away. The fish was phenomenal and did not disappoint. My favorite thing about this place was the myriad of toppings, protein, and sauce options. It was the perfect amount of food for me and the prices seemed totally reasonable given the cost of fish these days. When picking up, the process was easy and the staff was kind & efficient. I will definitely be going back...repeatedly. And I will be trying new things every time since they have the variety for that! Sooo tasty. read more

This is not my normal poki place so this was a first time visit. All ingredients were fresh, they also had some things like calamari salad that I usually do not see. At the time of arrival they seemed to be filling a few online orders but got to me as quickly as possible. In addition to rice and salad as bases for the poki they also offered a tofu noodle for a .75 adder, I did not try it but I thought that was interesting. Food was well prepared and very flavorful. I consider myself somewhat of a local poke connoisseur, having my favorite place be Koi Poke in the area having tried them all. I think Lomi Poki might take the top spot. The reason being their fish quality here is top notch. It has that "melt in your mouth" quality that reminded me of the poke I had in Hawaii. Their sauce game is also on point, you can tell the spicy mayo is made with Kewpie, for example, which no one else does. They also offer burritos which are better than Pokitrition's, because they hand press the rice onto the nori as opposed to using a machine which makes the rice into a paste. There's work for improvement - they seem disorganized, and I had to stand there for a minute before being helped despite no one else in there. Things like their cucumbers could be cut smaller, and I wish their crab was more like a traditional crab salad. But overall I'm very pleased and I'll be back. They deserve more reviews. read more
