the interior of a restaurant - Wholly Grill, a Filipino restaurant located in a mall food court, has a red interior backdrop with menu images displayed on the wall. A Philippine flag is hung prominently above the counter. Customers are seen ordering and interacting with staff behind the counter. The seating area includes wooden tables and chairs, with some patrons seated and others standing nearby. The environment appears busy and typical of a food court setting.

Pancit Bihon, and Pork Adobo. Staple filipino foods and 2 of my favorites. The Panic Bihon was fresh and good, but I felt it was lacking some traditional flavor. It also had spaghetti style noodles mixed with the vermicelli glass noodles, which throws me off, almost canton style. Living in the Philippines I am very picky about authentic filipino food. Pork Adobo, flavorful and comforting to my soul. I know they looked at me funny when I said No rice with it, but I just didn't have room from Bahn Mi' a few hours earlier. I know, sacrilege in filipino community not to eat without rice. Mekong Market is a favorite place for me, but it is a drive from Phoenix so I don't get here as often. Great fix for my cravings, will return

Oh, why did portion size keep getting smaller everywhere I go? I stop by here regularly when I'm in the area to get my Filipino food fix. I enjoy the food, staff is always friendly. Prices are good. But as I started before, portion sizes seen to have gotten smaller. Not my favorite Filipino restaurant, but I like it. I can get a meal for under $10. The environment is just an open food court area so don't expect anything special.

The Kare Kare is really off color

Food selection isn't as wide as I expect however the grilled fish and meats platters are so good! Not too salty and always cooked to order!

A good friend of mine was craving Filipino food so we chose Nanay's to scratch the itch. "Nanay" is the Tagalog word for mother. Let me tell you, this place is LEGIT!!! The restaurant has a pretty good size dining area. You can also order ahead for pick up. Employees are very friendly here and I appreciated the fact that the older gentleman was nice enough to give me a sample size of the Langka. It was right on the money! All of the food we got was definitely made with love. You can see it and you most certainly can taste it. I'm a big fan of Sisig, so it was only right to order it. They offer steamed white rice, garlic fried rice and pancit for your base. You get to choose your entrées (choose 1, 2 or 3). I opted for the sisig and their pork adobo which I have been told is a best seller here. No lies were told, as the adobo was on point! I also wanted to sample their "bilo bilo" and it was just like my mom's. I can never get enough!! Prices here won't swallow your wallet, and the parking lot outside is huge! The place was poppin' when we stepped inside and the line only got longer. That's how you know it's DAMN DELICIOUS! I suggest you try out Nanay's because you are missing out if you don't. Should you find yourself searching for some authentic Filipino food, bring yourself!! You'll be sure to leave feeling like you just ate at mom's house! enJOY!! =)

We were the only people in line, and it seemed like he just wanted us out of the store. When he was scooping the kare kare, he also kept scooping past the meat (beef items are an extra +$1 btw) and would dump out each scoop if he thought he was giving us "too much". Everything including the service was VERY greasy and I wouldn't come back.

We had BBQ skewers (they went FAST!
