For my order, I got the 4 Roll Family Platter (Charola) with: * Jalapeño Dragon Roll * Salmoncito Hot Roll (Rollo de Salmón Horneado) * Vegas Roll (not fried) * Surf & Turf (Mar y Tierra) with avocado I also ordered the Stuffed Yellow Peppers appetizer and a house-made jasmine tea. Everything was absolutely amazing. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every roll brought something different to the table, and the Family Platter was a fantastic way to try a variety of options. The house-made jasmine tea was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The standout, though, was the Stuffed Yellow Peppers. I'm not exaggerating when I say they were so good I actually teared up eating them. The flavor, texture, and balance of ingredients were incredible. It was one of those rare dishes that immediately makes you stop and appreciate how good food can be. The service was excellent as well. I ordered for pickup, and my food was ready exactly when promised. The woman at the register was kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the entire experience even better. I'm pretty surprised at how good the reviews are for this place. We have driven by jalapeño dragon for years and finally decided to try it. Walked in and the inside is pretty basic. There was 3 people in there and it took over 35 minutes for our food. For what you get it is absolutely not worth it. The rolls were all rice. The little bits of meat were way over cooked and disgusting. The shrimp was rubbery. You get more meat in a single taco that is $4-5 than you do in an entire roll for $15. My roll was almost entirely rice. Overall it didn't even taste good, extremely bland. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend. Neither of us finished our food and went somewhere else to eat. read more

This place started with a food truck and I am not sure what jas chanced but im sure the owner will know. The roll was good, I had the land lober roll. I did noticed the change in the Chipotle sauce and also the soy sauce that usually had a hint or orange was not the same. To me they tasted sweet and I love them both with my rolle. The place is pretty, and clean. Music was a little loud there was no one there and at that I barely heard whne they called my name to pick up my order. First time at this new restaurant. The food was really good. I got the Dragon Roll which was baked so it took a little extra time. My wife is not a seafood fan so she got the Land Lubber roll. Both rolls were large, I think 12 pieces, and we ended up taking probably 8 pieces home. We really enjoyed both rolls. The Dragon Roll has a lot of flavor and just enough heat for you to feel the slight tingle. Half the people were getting the tacos and the other half we're trying the unique rolls. I look forward to trying the ceviche roll next time. Parking is a bit tight right in front of the restaurant so we parked on the residential street. Very good, we will be back. read more

Love the decor and how the restaurant looks. The menu.... Doesn't look like a lot but trust me, if it was a huge menu I don't think we would ever be able to decide what to eat. My husband and I shared Quesabirria Tacos, the Three Amigos Roll and the Chipotle Roll. We want to eat more Quesabirria tacos like now, they were that good. It's does not come with consume (which you do have to pay extra for) which I wish we did. The three amigos roll, giving you chicken, beef and shrimp cucumber and fried, delicious. It taste good with the soy sauce and the guacamole from the salsa bar. Now our favorite and will get again... the chipotle roll shirmp, crab meat, cream cheese and cucumber. Sounds basic. But then they top it with chipotle cream cheese, bacon bits, eel sauce and then baked. It was so so so good. We know we want to get it again. They guys behind the line were very nice and friendly. And also was nice to know everything Is made to order cause you can see them working on our order and hearing it all drop to fry and bake. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the Carne Asada Tacos, which were delicious, while my wife had a Yakemeshi bowl. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The restaurant recently had its grand opening within the last two weeks, and the entire place has undergone a beautiful, extensive remodeling. I hate leaving bad reviews for a family business but the bottom line is it was a bad experience eating at Jalapeño Dragon. The sushi tasted like it had been pre-made a week ago and left in the refrigerator. The rice was congealed and hard, no flavor at all to the roll. My wife ordered barria tacos and they were made improperly, the meat was dry, the tortillas were not dipped in consume and the fried - the meat was just plopped down on corn tortillas. Completely garbage, I'm from out of town and stayed across the street I tried it a couple weeks ago and it was disgusting but I was back In town and thought I'd give it a second try so I ordered a burrito thinking " how can you mess up a burrito" but they actually did for 14$ I've had better burritos from a microwave. I've been a big fan of this food truck for over a year now. I love their food! The address is different. It is located on the north side of main st. between stapley and Mesa drive. I believe they're there Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They may do catering on different days if you call. The food truck is red. There's lights, music and an indoor seating area. Everyone working has always been very kind and accommodating if you need something on the side or anything. They take call ahead orders too if you don't have time to wait for your order there.
