    Lomo Saltado Carne

To start off the atmosphere and general wholesomeness of the staff was amazing. The service at the front desk was phenomenal, the staff went out of their way to make sure we (a party of 5) were able to try some aqua frescas (I highly recommend the raspberry). My party was able to try the following dishes: birria tacos, Peruvian ceviche, Lomo Saltado Carne, pescado a la macho and picarones. The Ceviche was a flavor experience with the seafood tasting so fresh and the creamy sauce and sweet potatoes adding nice flavor complexity and balance to the overall plate. Pro tip, ask for a side of rice to soak up all that flavor from the rice. If you are going to ask for spice, it is more of a limon spice which builds as you eat The birria tacos were a nice light experience with a well-crafted consomme that unlocked a world of flavor. Add in the salsas and the taco is perfectly balanced for the spicier palate The Lomo Saltado Carne was a very rich and deep flavor experience highlighted by the rich sauce drizzled over the entire plate akin to a thin gravy. The fries were fried light, and the tomatoes and onions were so fresh which built additional complexity. The pescado a la macho was a creamy tomato sauce base with a perfectly fried fish cutlet smothered in that sauce. The tomato sauce was absolutely phenomenal with a mouth feel similar to a curry, when paired with rice...perfection Finally, the picarones were a phenomenal Peruvian donut with a similar crunch to a churro or tempura exterior. All of these donuts being smothered in a honey sweetened sauce which was amazing, to dip all the donuts in Overall, you can't go wrong with any of these items

First time at this fusion Peruvian and Mexican restaurant. I lived in Peru and can tell you that the Peruvian food is authentic. The restaurant space inside is light, clean and there are lots of cultural decorations, pics of traditional dishes and TV screens displaying the various landscapes of the country. There are lots of flag banners and of course, a nice large mural of Machu Picchu. This is a counter order style restaurant and then they bring the food out to you. I had seco de carne which is a braised meat with softer beans and rice dish that your grandmother would make for a Sunday meal. Our friend's grandmother made it for me when we lived there and eating it was like a ratatouille experience. It comes with pickles onions and don't forget to ask for the spicy yellow salsa. Lomo saltado had tender beef and yellow potato fries. That is always a safe beginner dish. Yucca fries were great and fish ceviche was traditional with choclo (large cooked bland kernals), camote (sweet potato to counter the sour lemon juice base), red onion, and cancha which is softer unpopped larger corn kernals. The white fish is chemically cooked by the lemon juice and is soft and tender. If you like sushi and sour flavor, you will love it. Sofia filled me in on the menu and she is a Limeño (from Lima). They were playing Criolla music. The chicha morada is a traditional drink made from purple corn with sugar, cinnamon and chopped apples. Try a sample and you will be surprised. We had picarones- Peruvian style donuts and the alfajores for dessert. I was stuffed from dinner and was unable to try the cookies. They are like shortbread with condensed milk caramel like filling. Overall a great dining experience and flavorful and authentic dishes. I will plan to return and bring some friends to show them the beautiful pictures of the e country and enjoy some distinct flavors.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PERUVIAN RESTAURANT IN AZ!!! To be available honest, I didn't have a high expectation because, judging by the name, I thought this restaurant was a Mexican-Perucian fusion place. Don't let the name fool you! As my bf and I walked in, we were instantly greeted by a super nice lady at the counter. She continued to be sweet throughout our time there. As for their food, we both said "This is it!! We were BEYOND happy that we finally have an authentic Peruvian place that serves dishes that satisfying our palate. We loved this place so much we went there two days in a row!

I had a craving for lomo saltado and was surprised to find it here, due to the restaurant's name which does not mention the Peruvian cuisine. The menu on their website made it seem like the lomo saltado was only available on the weekends, which is not the case. All of the Peruvian cuisine and the lomo saltado are available all week. I placed my order for pickup. It was made fresh within a few minutes of being there. The restaurant is casual; you order your food at the counter to be delivered to your table. Plenty of seating. For as casual as it is, it is on the pricier side- the lomo saltado was $22 before tip. That being said, I'm not aware of too many other restaurants that offer lomo saltado. It was a generous portion, and tasty, albeit a tad salty.

I was so happy to see a Peruvian restaurant open near me, and it has a drive thru to boot! The owner, Sophia was very kind and informative. Her and her family are from Peru, so I know the food was going to be authentic and delicious. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, and provides plenty of seating. We got the tallarin saltado de carne, Seco de res, and the alfajor cookie for dessert. I also tried one of their passion fruit juices. Everything was delicious! The food came out quickly and was piping hot. Again, this place has a drive thru, so you don't even need to get out of your car to get some of this deliciousness! If your craving Peruvian or have never had it, please come to this spot and give it a try!

A must try!!!! This restaurant serves very authentic Peruvian dishes in an authentic Peruvian atmosphere. The Lomo Saltado Carne was excellent! The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Inca Mex has a good mix of both Mexican and Peruvian dishes. But there aren't any fusion dishes so don't be mistaken! The Al Pastor burrito lacked some flavor and was mostly stuffed with white rice. The Pollo Saltado was decent, but a little more expensive than I think was fair. However, the service was outstanding! The cashier/waitress gave us samples of the chicha morada and sauces. The interior looks very new and fresh, lots of seating options available.

Always chasing for a good Peruvian meal. Decided to drive out to the east side to try their food. You order your food at the register and then then bring out the food for you. Their menu has good options and traditional plates. The space is spacious with enough tables to sit and eat there. The staff was friendly and patient. We ordered a couple of dishes overall the food is good. The best was the cause with the ceviche on top and the lucuma tres leches. The tallarines and look were middle of the road. If you are in the area and craving some Peruvian for sure check them out.

Great staff that helped with our total lack of knowledge about Peruvian food! Walked us through everything and it was delicious! Huge portions and so many options!

Me and my girlfriend were looking specifically for a Peruvian restaurant and found this one on Google actually, and boy were we excited that we did. The menu consists of a combination of both Mexican, and Peruvian cuisine, some popular items from both, along with some tasty desserts, the offerings are great! It was tough to pick between the Peruvian dishes as so many of them sounded so delicious (and we are both big fans of all of it), but I was really in the mood for some ceviche in particular... as Peruvian ceviche is some of the best in the world. The man at the counter, which we didn't know at the time was one of the owners, helped us navigate the menu, which was really great. He gave us recommendations, let us know what was popular and what items were more frequently ordered, and we ended up getting two seafood dishes, and one Sonoran hot dog. We also got an agua de fruta - maracuyá (which is passion fruit). There's nothing like Latin America for me, then a jugo de maracuyá! I was so excited they offered this! We sat in a large booth and waited patiently and promptly our food came out. I got the causa acevichada and she got the ceviche mixta along with the dog. The dog came with fried, standard tasty thick cuts and they have ketchup at the counter if you want. The leche de Tigre the ceviche is flavored in was DELICIOUS!!!! The causa is made with this soft like potato along with the fish and shrimp and avocado and the mixture of the flavors with the onions - it's just a party in your mouth. The dog was also tasty with all of the ingredients of a true Sonoran, although had bacon bits as opposed to a strip swirled around it which I didn't mind. Was just as delicious. The mixto was also amazing, the corn bits and the mixture of it all - delectable. It definitely hit the spot for both of us and we were more than plenty satisfied which is why sadly both of us did not have dessert there, but we did get some alfajores to go, which were PERFECTION. The cajeta or dulce de leche inside the cookie powdered - brought me to my nostalgic Colombian treats, and then we learned the wife is Colombian herself as well. She and him (his name is Carlos) were so delightful, made the feel of the place very open, and friendly. The ambiance was calm and easy going, and they had a great selection of Spanish music playing, which I loved. I definitely recommend trying this place and dabbling in both the Peruvian and the Mexican cuisine.

Despite what it says on yelp, this restaurant is open on Mondays, not Tuesdays. The staff was very friendly and helped answer any questions we had, the restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious! They had Peruvian dishes and Mexican dishes but I wish they had some dishes that were more a fusion of both foods. It's a fast casual restaurant which I didn't realize. I think the food was a little pricey for that atmosphere but overall, still delicious and a good spot to check out if you want some Peruvian food. They have all the classics and then some!

    Ceviche

The ceviche was incredible! So were the red rock enchiladas, salsa, tomatillo sauce, iced tea, etc Service was perfect. Cute place. Parking right behind the restaurant. Loved it!

If all avocado toasts were like this, I don't know why anyone would choose something else! The sourdough bread was lightly toasted but not so stiff that it scraped up my mouth. The flavors of the toppings gave it a hearty, yet sweet decadence and the aioli really sealed the deal! My server checked on me plenty but not more than was comfortable and the place itself was small, but it wasn't overwhelming in any way. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items! (There were about ten small tables under the "Brunchin" wall, just didn't want to share all of the people that were filling them)

I really wanted to like this place more. Seen it on social and Google and I wanted to try it out…read more It was okay. It's smaller than I thought they have about 15 tables. Tried the strawberry colada mimosa as it was the special of the month. I only tasted champagne with hint if strawberry no coconut. Name felt slightly misleading. Food: I got the banana foster French toast - this was really good not to sweet, nice crunchy ends with soft middle. Per usual no combo for French toast so a side of bacon was $4 and so are potatoes. They do offer a platter for $7 but it includes eggs which i did not want. We ordered side of chicken it needed seasoning bad. Service was okay I feel our waitress tried to connect with us but she was a little awkward. Slightly overpriced for food that is pretty simple in my opinion.
